Overall, I’d give this firm 4 stars.

First of all, I’d like to thank the team for all the hard work they put into my personal injury claim. It was a long and complex process, and I do appreciate the effort that went into securing my settlement.

That said, there were a few things that stopped this from being a 5-star experience.

The biggest issue was the length of time the claim took. I also had to change solicitors partway through because my original solicitor left the firm. Unfortunately, I felt my first solicitor made very little progress with my case, and it wasn’t until I was assigned to a partner that things really started moving.

Communication could also have been better. There were times when I didn’t fully understand what was happening with my claim, and as the client, I naturally asked questions. At times, I felt that my frustration wasn’t met with the patience or understanding I needed, which made an already stressful situation even harder.

The final stages were the most disappointing. I was told payment would be received within 14 days, but that deadline came and went. Each time I chased for an update, I was simply told that it was being chased. After waiting so long, it was understandable that I became upset and wanted answers. Instead, I felt as though I was made to feel like a nuisance for contacting the firm to ask where my settlement was. A little more empathy and clearer communication at that stage would have made a huge difference.

Despite these issues, the firm did ultimately achieve a successful outcome for my claim, and for that I am grateful. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I believe improvements in communication, managing expectations and client care—particularly towards the end of a case—would make the experience much better for future clients.

I have since edited my review as I have tried to contact both my solicitor and his receptionist about a gift I had sent for him to say thank you and it is damn near impossible for me to speak to them?? I’ve tried calling (never been any good at emails and prefer a quick call) and the vast difference between calls answered, or returned if unanswered, to now is quite upsetting. Also the fact no acknowledgement for the gift id sent to my solicitor either was quite upsetting.

Terrible communication with lengthy periods of inaction. We were basically told that we had grounds for a case only to be strung along for an inordinate amount of time without any communication. When we were assigned somebody else, we were told that there wasn’t enough evidence to proceed and that they wanted to close the case. Absolutely no reason for this decision other than our lawyer had left the company. I think that this outfit are the epitome of legal firms and care more about money than people. Whilst I am sure people will want to understand why this review is so negative , please appreciate that the end result in our interaction with WEsolicitors is that a traumatised autistic child was abused by an adult that this company failed to pursue. I think you should avoid at all costs and find a company that lives compassion rather than talks about it.

WE solicitors stand out from other solicitors. They offer a personal approach, you feel like you matter, your case matters to them. They are very proffesional and efficient and keep you updated throughout. They are transparent and tell you everything good or bad about the progress of your case and will advise you on the next steps. If you are looking for a personal injury lawyer and would like some advice give them a ring. Steve Evans and Rachel Johnstone dealt with our case and both are amazing at their jobs and genuinely nice people. Thank you will recommend to anyone who needs a solicitor.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my parents. They have nothing but praise for We Solicitors!!!... After SSB Law went into administration We Solicitors took over my mums case. It had been ongoing for almost 4 years.. We Solicitors wrapped it up within a few months and in favour of my mum. Staff were very competent, helpful and 'available'. Phone calls and emails were answered and they felt there was always someone to talk to.
We wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Don’t ever answer the phone.

I’ve called 13 times in the last 2 weeks during working hours and they don’t answer the phone. I know they’re a small company with only a few staff but maybe they should get an answering service? In the end I decided to go elsewhere. Also the owner Steve has no LinkedIn recommendations which is never a good sign.

My experience with WE solicitors was amazing they were knowledgeable and professional throughout the process.
They walked me through each step, answered my questions in language I could understand and kept me updated at all times,

Incompetent would be polite. An entire years worth of cardiology was not reported, and was there for not included in the last offer. After 2 years I gave up. I imagine this cost me an additional £3000 even after the 30% fee. I would highly recommend this company to someone I really don’t like.

Far from an easy case, but these people stuck with it, amazed at some of the research they carried out and information collected. Always there if you needed to ask or weren't to sure on the complicated issues. Solicitor and Barrister team on our case where superb.
