Ashford Castle Hotel Avis 4

From the moment we entered the castle on the 22/09/2025/ 3pm, we received a lovely welcome from from the gentlemen at the gate. We spoke to Tom at the bridge he was so helpful and charming. Upon entering the castle Mike directed us and again a warm welcome. The castle is amazing needless to say ,we were there for afternoon tea. Victoria looked after us alongside two other staff. She made us feel totally spoilt and was so charming and professional. Many thanks to all these kind people who made our day. Thank you all xxxx Frances Casey and Julian Hawthornthwaite

What a day! Greeted by Frank. Attended to by all the highly trained staff. Adrian’s attention and courtesy at George V restaurant was admirable. Paul Fogarty then literally stole the show. Whoever manages these awesome humans must acknowledge what a great job they do for Ashford. I can’t wait to return and my wife is even more effusive. Bravo to all the team

This was the highlight of our trip! We had afternoon tea and did a private hawk walk both of which were memorable!
Staying at the castle and walking the grounds transports you back in time and an overwhelming feeling of being incredibly special brightens your spirit.
Every single person from the time you enter the gate until checking out is very attentive to your every need. There isn’t anything you could ask for that couldn’t be provided.
The inside was warm and cozy and elegant in every way, very traditional and incredibly beautiful!
Walking from the castle to the village of Cong was just as you imagine in the movies. The pubs are warm and the food is good, you must stay for the live music which was exactly the experience I wanted, Irish music and audience participation. It was an amazing experience to live like a local!
I can’t wait to go back where I hope to stay longer than one night, it was an unforgettable experience!

Amazingly wonderful Ashford Castle was fantastic in every way, especially the employees, who were friendly and welcome like family. a fantastic location for family travel. delicious coffee and munchies. During the rainy season, the weather is lovely. Beautiful hotel room location I adore this magnificent and majestic castle. a once-in-a-lifetime experience The locals and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. That was the best vacation of our lives, and this location is like a movie set. The people are all polite, and the history and beauty are stunning. a lovely and historic location
