This policy was put in place for a 30 day VRBO. The policy auto renewed for 6 months until i finally noticed a suspicous charge for $18.42 every month. When i called them (after much difficulty reaching a customer service agent) they did cancel the account but were unwilling to refund me the extra charges from when i checked out even though iu was able to provide proof that i checked out and was living somewhere else.

If your a VRBO owner, dont use these guys, if your a renter, choose someone else. If this happens to you, call your financial institution and have them reverse the charges and let THEM fight to get the money back :)

I purchased renters insurance through Geico and had to file a renters insurance claim. Only to be transferred over to assurant renters insurance. 0/10 does not recommend. I am currently in search of an attorney to assist me with my theft claim. I filed a theft claim on March 29th, from an accident on March 28th. I had to initially reach out to my adjuster, because no one reached out to me within 3 days as the website and customer representatives claimed, to go over submitted documents. Ever since I have spoken with my adjuster that one time, I have been calling her, her managers, and even the senior manager only to get their voicemails. Every time she do reach out by text or by mail she is asking for more ridiculous receipts, such as a letter from my commanding officer in order to be reimbursed for my military uniforms and boots that were also stolen. After, I have already proven to be a service member and have even sent in pictures of myself in uniform. She keep asking me for things to only buy more time and possibly try to deny the claim. I will also be filing a complaint with the insurance commissioners office, because I feel as if I am being scammed at this point. STAY AWAY FROM GEICO/ASSURANT RENTERS INSURANCE!!!

I got the package from Geico where I bundled and the other day my back pack got stolen from my car while I was at Walmart. I filed a claim early last week and I haven’t heard anything from anyone. I call and it sends me to this lady and she never picks up the phone. I haven’t even received a email stating that they are working on it. When I got this service I thought they were supposed to have my back.I am a college student getting ready to start classes for the summer semester and I don’t have my laptop and the person got away with my textbooks that I needed for my finals and I know the company isn’t responsible for what the person did but I was hoping they could be more helpful on me getting my claim complete so I could head into the semester with what I need. I haven’t heard anything and I have called a lot and I never get a call back. I just feel that they don’t care about me at all they just wanted my money:( I am really struggling right now on if I want to keep their service or move to another company because of their customer service.
