Atmosphere Avis 

As a business who has had our service for a couple of years, we are always trying to find ways to offer an entertaining atmosphere around our office and lobby. The idea of free streaming is great, however, the content is a bit repetitive, somewhat limited, and there are a few caveats that a business owner should be aware of. They charge a non-refundable $50 activation fee which includes the streaming box and equipment. Although they advertise the content as fee, if you do not actively stream at least 40 hours a month, you will be charged to the card on file $20 per month until your streaming returns to at least 40 hours of streaming time. We started utilizing other means of providing entertainment around our offices, and our streaming on the television has lowered, and I noticed a $20 charge per device on Atmosphere. Upon further review, this is an under utilization charge! I am sorry, but this totally defeated the purpose of this. As WiFi and digital signage is changing, this is now an outdated and highly expensive way of configuring digital signage that is also limited in its capabilities without incurring additional charges. It's a simple and clean platform, but no longer something I need with a changing dynamic for signage and streaming entertainment.

Everything was great, until I ended my contract with them. It is clear that they have unethical post-billing practices. Atmosphere sent me three apple tvs for my laundromat. I plugged all three in and had them running from 6am until 9pm (was required for 40 hours a week, and I exceeded that). When I sold my laundromat I sent back the three units and they continued to bill me $20 a month for not using enough services. Unfortunetly I didn't catch this $20 a month for several months. I contacted them, and they stated they never received the units back. Finally they admited to receiving three of the "four" back. Four? I only asked for, and only received three (I only had three TVs). They then charged me $200 for the "missing" Apple TV.

I have been with Atmosphere for over two years now. They are a fantastic company to deal with, the product is great and so easy to use. And that's coming from someone that's really bad with tech!! Five stars
