Great tool for indie hackers
If you're building solo projects, atoms.dev is a great companion. It helps reduce development time significantly. I would't rely on it for everything, but as a starting point, it's incredibly valuable.

I had a pretty good experience using atoms.dev. The idea is strong and the execution is decent, but there are still some rough edges in performance and output quality. Nothing major, just areas that could improve.
Atoms offers some helpful tools for working with AI prompts and experiments. The platform is easy to get started with, which is a plus. Still, I think the user experience and documentation could be improved to make things smoother for new users.
the worst AI agent and customer service, the creadit gets draining for no reason, and this after online search You're Not Alone: Widespread User Complaints
Multiple users on platforms like Trustpilot have reported issues nearly identical to yours with Atoms.dev :
Buggy performance: Users report the AI agents introduce new issues, break existing functionality, and create error pages instead of working apps
Credits drained with no results: The platform burns through paid credits without delivering functional products
Unhelpful support that asks for more money: Several users describe being told issues are "common" and needing to pay more to resolve problems caused by the platform itself
Refund refusals: The company reportedly refuses refunds even when issues are clearly on their end
One Trustpilot reviewer summed it up: "Their system pushes you to publish, even as it cannot give results other than error pages... It is draining your credits without any warning" . Another user reported losing over 100 credits to build errors and got no resolution .

I'm not a developer, so I wasn't expecting much, but atoms.dev made the whole process surprisingly smooth. I could actually see my idea come to life without getting stuck in technical details. It's not flawless, but for someone like me, it's incredibly empowering.
Honestly, one of the most easiest platform I've used recently. It just feel well thought out. No unnecessary complications, and everything runs as expected. That alone makes it worth using.
A solid platform. I have been using Atoms regularly and it's been dependable. There are a few areas where it could improve, especially in terms of customization, but nothing that stops me from using it. It's practical and gets the job done.
Atoms has some good ideas and the overall concept is solid, but my experience has been a bit mixed. It works fine most of the time, but I've run into a few small issues that slow things down. Nothing too serious, just not as smooth as expected.
I was very close in giving a 5 star review,
This is a great platform to use for beginners, the only issue is every time you want to buy credits, you need to upgrade your monthly subscription or else you do not have access to your projects and need to wait until next month to get access. That is so stupid, I upgraded from 20 dollars/mo to 50/mo to 100/mo and now I cannot buy extra credits and I have to upgrade to 200/mo so I can get access to my projects. This is so dumb I feel scammed

Pretty good overall. Atoms is stable and easy to navigate, but I think the onboarding could be improved a bit for new user. Once you get used to it, though, it's quiet efficient.
The design was my favorite, everything feels minimal and distraction free. It works well for my needs, through I did notice a slight learning curve when diving deeper into some features. Once you get the hang of it, Its smooth. Not perfect, but definitely worth trying.
I bought the Pro membership expecting a reliable service. What I got was a platform with serious infrastructure bugs on their side that burned through my credits without me doing anything wrong. And when the credits ran out? My entire website and custom domain went completely offline. Just gone.
No warning. No compensation. No fix.
I tried everything to get help. I contacted their official support AND opened a ticket in their Discord server. Both were completely useless. The admin team on Discord is just a bunch of larpers who sit there ignoring support tickets while people's businesses are down. No acknowledgement that the problem was on their end, no timeline for a fix, nothing. Total radio silence when it matters most.
To make it even worse, I checked their Terms of Service and found that once you spend any credits — even credits lost due to THEIR OWN bugs — you are not eligible for a refund. Think about that. They can have an infrastructure failure that drains your credits, takes your website offline, and you're still not entitled to a single cent back.
This is not a platform. It's a setup. Credits are the product, bugs are the mechanism, the admin team is decoration, and the no-refund policy is the trap.
Do yourself a favour and use literally anything else.

My experience with atoms.dev has been extremely disappointing. The platform is very slow, and the AI agents consistently produce poor results. Instead of helping speed up development, the agents often introduce new issues, create incorrect code, or break existing functionality — which leads to significant financial losses due to the time and effort required to fix their mistakes.
On top of that, the support team is unresponsive. They take a long time to reply, and when they do, the answers are usually unhelpful. They also refuse to issue refunds, even when the problems clearly come from their system and not from the user.
Overall, the service feels unreliable, inefficient, and not worth the cost.

Their system pushes you to publish, even as it cannot give results other then error pages, telling you that in the next version the problem (in my case api connection) is solved. I got to V7 and then its game over. It is draining your credits without any warning, so you pay for a year and then cannot use it for a full month, when they will give you some more credits. I dont know if it is a scam like someone suggested, but it doesnt look kosher. Anyways I was actually looking for Lovable and without paying attention to the google paid results ended up with them.

5-star team, but too many credits are wasted on simple problems that the AI can't solve.

Hello, i paid for pro, but the app viewer is so bad to refresh that it took all my credits just to tell that i did not see nothing in the app viewer and make a loop to try to repare it, because their localhost:3000 is not working well with supabase.
I did not finish a simple project of 100 credits just for that.
