THEY'RE SO PRIVATE THEY NEGLECT YOU
Spencer's Hayes did not hire me on his free will he was instructed by someone in the hire up to reach out to me to give me a job. And he treated it as such, by not answering my questions, and neglecting the others I had. There's more to the story of how all of this went down but I'm just going to keep it short. I even reached out about the situation and stated what him and I had said in the messages, and I wanted was clarifying information and I couldn't even get that.. neither have they acknowledged anything, so I see they company set up so private until they can't even have sympathy, acknowledge,or apologize for the situation but that ok, and also marked me as ineglible for rehire because I was trying to get help..I was not trying to leave the company entirely, but Spence told me if I don't find it fit just say because he shows that he really didn't want to discuss it, so I said, since you mentioned if I don't want the position to say so he could go head and remove me from the site, and if anything comes available in the future I will give it a try, and made sure I wasn't by making me unable to be rehired for no reason. I didn't do anything to him but trying to get answers. Because h was I instructed to to reach out to me he made it known when he called me, as that being said, This the translation..I'm letting you know this is not because me, it's because someone told me to. After all this, I'm going to treat you like It was my pleasure. I no way felt welcome to Allied Universal.. And on top of that I never applied for the position it was given and took it at the time. Because I thought it would be a nice place to work, bug Allied showed me otherwise.
They put a sexual predator in our local mall feet away from an elementary school

So does his supervisor, who I later found out was NOT his supervisor at all, who is defending his behavior by saying "she told him she was 18" when her text messages clearly proved that she did NOT lie about her age at all. She asked him if it was a problem that she was "only 17" and his response was "is it a problem that I'm only 22?" Allied universal security employs the security team for that mall and they did absolutely nothing and even tried to lie to me via email and state that they do not employ anybody at that location. When I sent a picture of there security van in front of the mall... SILENCE.....
The company definitely does not value…
The company definitely does not value their employees. They do not match to the 401K and there are no performance bonuses or end of year bonuses. In fact, they promote people that promote sexual harassment and wipe the issue under the rug.
Allied Universal has shown themselves…
Allied Universal has shown themselves to be completely unfair, unprofessional, and incompetent in handling my case. Communication is poor, support is nonexistent, and their actions demonstrate a lack of care or responsibility toward the people they are supposed to help. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

Congratulations to Dave S. (security officer). He did an awesome job today at DES office located at 45th. Ave. and Indian School Rd. I got in because I need to renew my benefits and He was very helpful, nice and respectful. He helped myself and other people to check in online. We must praise this actions more often when it happens, because we need a better world and this is a great inspiration to all of us.

Abusing his position in violation of the law
I would like to inform you that some of your security officers are abusing their authority
They are supposed to provide safety and protection, but they are instead abusing their position and acting against the lwo.
I expect the company to take this issue seriously and take immediate action.
Unprofessional and disrespectful
Had a really bad experience at Doctors Hospital in Modesto CA , in main lobby. The guard was unprofessional, disrespectful,and juvenile. Officer (Reed). Not trained correctly for stressful situations. Thank God for cameras. Hope Allied and Doctors Hospital can correct this problem
Disrespectful, Hateful, retaliatory Client Manager at Lakeland ,FL
The work was Ok until I reported an Officer who violated Company policies, the Officer a lady abandoned the post every Night for more than an hour and a half, I have also played back CCTV video of the violation to support my report.
Unfortunately this Officer was befriended with the Client Manager, who fired me for this, she said you can't work at this post anymore but you can apply on the Allied Website for any job .
I started applying immediately, but every job I found was denied by the client Manager LEXI in in the Lakeland Office.
I wrote even a letter to the CEO Steve Jones and reported this violation.
After the letter to the CEO ,the Office in Lakeland called me, telling me you are not fired , you can apply for any job with Allied, of course this was a lie. In addition, the human resource director from Tampa called me also, telling me you are not fired apply for any job, another lie. The same Manager in the Lakeland Office allowed us to drive a Security vehicle for 2 weeks without registration and insurance, this was fine for her. I applied one more time on 8/28/2025, I was interviewed and told I’m eligible for rehire. The Conducted a Background check and scheduled an Orientation in Tampa on 9/2/2025.
I drove to Tampa and attended the Orientation for run about 3 hours until somebody called me out, then the human resource director told me I can't work in the whole county anymore LEXI told him. And all this just because I reported a company violation? I worked as a security Officer for 7 years never saw such a hateful Person like this client Manager. But she is obviously allowed to make such disgusting decisions against security Officers. It's pure hate and retaliatory "Adverse employment action" Allowed by Allied Universal. Where is the justice, forbid me for working in the whole county just because I reported a Company violation.
Reporting a Company violation is actually a protected activity. What about Allied Universal code of conducts ! In this case it's nothing worth!
Talked to potential future supervisor…
Talked to potential future supervisor about a job offer, subsequently declined, unwilling to provide written copy of offer & asked if he would have a problem talking to current guard he became even more discouraging, definitely raising a red flag. I can now see why past and present employees rate management on the lower end of the scale.
Discriminating company
I worked for this company for 2 years. Everything was alright until I transferred to the Allied West LA branch. My operational manager removed me from my post because I had covid. Then made me a rover, and assigned horrible LISA shifts where I worked outside or sitting in car with no bathroom or stores nearby. (Even had a job offer to work on TARZANA, CA, that's not West LA!) Obviously the manager and Allied Universal West LA was trying to get me to voluntarily quit. The office has a bunch of Hispanics and asian people..not my ethnicity. They were really fake especially my Operational manager, a little Hispanic man who will give you a huge Kool Aid smile but don't trust him!(Initials FG)
Well, they tried to say I had misconduct but had no proof to show. Now they will pay unemployment fees. Learn how to treat your guards with respect, and stop holding post for your friends, and families.

If we could give a zero we would. Not sure how a security company who has such terrible reviews is still being hired to keep things “safe and secure”. Night workers at security locations always smell of weed, nobody takes any accountability for their actions or mistakes, and always rude and inappropriate.
I was really disappointed with the service I received
I was really disappointed with the service I received. The staff was unhelpful and the product didn't meet my expectations at all. I would not recommend this company.
Willful Negligence!
I was severely injured on the job working at Scottsdale fashion Square. When I was hired, I was provided an Allied Universal cap that was to be worn on the job by my supervisor who is 6’7 as I am 6’9. On October 26, 2024 I was told that the cap was no longer allowed and was deemed unprofessional and was not to be used as part of the uniform. Zak Doolan the security manager new that I was taller than my supervisor and the doorframe yet still allowed my injuries to occur starting on October 27, 2024 I suffered my first concussion as we were exploring an underground known bomb shelter as the doorways were significantly shorter than 6’8.
October 28, 2024. I had another run in with a metal device that hangs from the top of the door frame leading into the security office in the red garage. It is a magnetic door release that can only be opened enclosed from the inside of the security office . I did not realize it was there however had I had my hat on the bill of the hat and the nodule at the top would have deflected the impact.
I was taken to Concentra Urgent Care by sky Harbor Airport, and treated and put on Workmen’s Comp. soon after I had a medical emergency where I could not breathe in one of the corridors behind Toy Temple. Prior to shift I had to use my inhaler several times I was extremely dehydrated very fatigued and I almost lost consciousness 911 was called and the paramedics revived me.
Later that week, I saw my primary care physician who wrote up a note advising my management team that it was in my best interest to wear the cap in order to protect my skull. Later that same week as I walked into the security dispatch, I impacted my skull wearing my hat into the metal arm that attaches the door to the frame in it, drop me to my knees.
I had a severe traumatic brain injury that lasted me seven months to recovery, without a brain bleed. I have gone through pain and suffering, severe memory loss, suicidal tendencies, loss of work and not even a hey how are you doing by the man who caused this entire debacle Zak Doolan. I reached out to HR and I asked to know who gave the order to remove our company issued cap was it Steve Jones the CEO or Zack Doolan. I tried to seek Legal help but I was told that in the State of Arizona you cannot sue your employer based on willful negligence.

Unfair...
How does a new hire with less security experience, less work history experience, no college education and is half your age get hired into a position where they can sit at a post for the entire shift? While their partner who was hired over nearly 3 years before has to patrol the entire shift. We are at the same pay rate. The fish thinks from the head. Poop rolls downhill with this company... and fast.
