Well educated and supportive process

Gemma guided us through our engagement ring making, educating us on the 9ct vs 18ct gold’s and the quality of the diamonds. We felt very informed and more confident in our decision of the ring that we chose. I didn’t feel pushed or like I was being sold something which is important to me.

When we came to pick it up, the ring was so much more stunning than we imagined. Very grateful to Austen & Blake.

Friendly staff and excellent service

My experience, from the initial appointment to the collection of my ring, was excellent. The entire staff was professional and welcoming. I would like to extend a special thanks to Jewelry Expert Kane, who provided comprehensive guidance and information. I highly recommend A&B Solihull. Thank you.

The staff were brilliant.

I had a brilliant experience with Austen & Blake. I wasn't sure exactly what I was looking for but the staff at the Solihull store were so knowledgeable and personable it was not a daunting experience at all, nor were the staff pressuring for a sale at all which made it even more pleasant. The ring was beautiful and a great price and exceeded my expectations. Thank you.

No rings to view. No response to chat / calls

I went into the Solihull store and they did not have any of the rings I wanted to view in stock. I was told the rings I liked were unique, and they only really had one model of ring to view with different type stones.
I don’t know how could I be expected to spend a sizeable amount of money without having the ability to really see anything!
I’ve tried messaging on the chat on their website over the last 3 days to find out if any of the UK stores had the ring(s) I like in stock to view, but I never receive a response. I’ve tried calling the UK number on their website but no-one picks up.
I think it’s a really poor experience and I have gone from loving the look of the rings on their site, to being completely put off from purchasing. I have doubts about how any concerns after purchasing would also be handled.

At Austen & Blake we pride ourselves on offering the highest level of customer service and highest quality items, unfortunately you have mentioned on this occasion we’ve fallen below our usually high standards.

We are sorry to hear that you were not able to view the specific ring you would have wanted to see and difficulty receiving response. Rings in our stores would be mainly samples and unfortunately not all of our stores will have certain samples or the specific sample is not available due to it’s unique design

The assistant was so helpful and came up with ideas i would never had considered.
He acknowledged what jewellery I was already wearing and matched the gold, diamonds and clarity in my new piece.

Angela and the Solihull branch

Me and my partner visited the Solihull branch yesterday to look at engagement rings and we were greeted by Angela,
Angela made the whole experience of shopping for Victoria's engagement ring fun and enjoyable compared to multiple other stores which we have visited which we found money orientated and not making us feel we were getting a bespoke package.
We asked alot of questions around the cut of the diamond, the setting of the diamond, the clarity levels, the colour ratings, the certificates that come with the ring to confirm the diamond etc and Angela was able to answer all of our questions giving us confidence in not only her but the company and jewellery.

With the bespoke package we received we placed an order and hope to pick up from Solihull within 3 weeks.

New Solihull store

I visited the new store in Solihull today and it was a wonderful experience. The store is very light bright and airy. Kane gave me lots of information about the products and made some excellent recommendations to me for me to consider. He was polite and helpful throughout my visit and I ordered the most beautiful ring. I would fully recommend this jewellers. First class service given by Kane.
