I called this company to diagnose an electrical fault which was the temp display had gone from the screen which affected the heater controls, Mark wrongly diagnosed the problem and charged an exuberant price for doing so, I took it to an other local auto electrician and diagnosed the fault and repaired it within 1 hour.

Scam, and sadly I fell for it. Reporting them to Trading Standards and will reference to other reviews

They took the £60 and proceeded not to do anything.
So many victims.

Absolute scam of a so called business. I found this website and messaged them asking for a rate. They said £60 to get it booked in and £60 an hour. I specifically asked if the £60 to book included the 1st hour and was told yes by Carl Martin operating with a Smart Lead Ltd bank. Next day, some guy called Mark Lowe turns up who seemed like he knew what he was talking about. I was working from home and stressed about work & my car so after pulling apart my passenger back door which wasn't opening, he said a mechanism had gone - then said it would cost £272 to replace as it needed to be imported from Italy. I agreed and he charged me £448 for that and the work he did. I wasn't even thinking straight but did ask him about this first hour being included. He said he doesn't see any of that and my mind stressed agreed to pay it as he said it would take over a week to order the part. He left the inside panels off my car door as he was supposedly coming back.
I messaged the original guy who said he meant the £60 included VAT. Basically he was rude & aggressive. The next day I started looking into this guy and then found these reviews. I looked into Mark and turns out this isn't the first time this has happened. I logged it with my bank straight away but they said I had to give it till the promised date. Mark charged with £175 for a diagnostic and £272 for a part and lo-behold, when I messaged him yesterday, radio silence. I've now logged a scam claim with my bank. I will try and report to trading standards too.

I have since taken it to a garage who have quoted me £90 for a 2nd hand part and to fit it.

DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE.

If you take nothing else from this review just please don't use this company which masquerades as a locksmith/auto electrician/ auto mechanic and many others no doubt.
They will charge you £60 for a "booking fee" you'll get no further correspondence and be chasing the supposed "Expert" for times and feedback....and that's even if they turn up at all from other reviews. They operate under different websites autodoctor.co or autoelectricians.co but if you look, the number you call is the same...usually a mobile.
I paid £60 pounds but after you have paid, the whole experience doesn't feel right from service to keeping you updated. This prompted me to investigate and go to trust pilot....I immediately cancelled any appointment I had with them and demanded my £60 back.....but from the other reviews they simply won't refund you or have any intention to. This is a full blown scam that has been ongoing for a while. I'm currently chasing the bank for a reverse scam charge to get my £60 back but I'm not holding out hope.......Avoid like the plague...you have been warned.

Have spent the best part of a month trying to get some kind of service from this company. Extract £60 money up front and then put an engineer called Faisal from Basildon in touch who needed us to buy a part costing £90 we didn't need and spent 2 hours charging over £200 labour. Problem not fixed. Said he would get correct parts and did not call back. After 3 weeks Auto doctor put us in touch with a mechanic called Mark based in Dorset who "talked the talk" but did not show up and now is not picking up calls. This company which claims to operate in the RG7 area, by their own admission this morning, simply puts you in touch and at the mercy of either fraudulent or unreliable traders up and down the country. By their own admission, they do not check the credentials of these traders, simply enter you postcode on a data base. For your peace of mind, and the state of your wallet avoid at all costs.

Abolsute wrost online company ever delt with, Ordered Towbar from them delivered in undamaged box, shrinked wrapped parts inside, when had towbar fitted x2 plates to secure ball hitch missing, contacted customer service you get a robot first then an agent looking for a list of stuff emailed to open claim did all that but nothing asked for phone number sent that on but guess what automated robot that still can't help you, my advice would be stay well clear of this company cheap products no after service just want your money, so probably may go buy another towbar now

Paid £60 "call out". No call out, no nothing. No refund despite someone called Daniel Baker saying he would refund. Con artists pure and simple. Web site phone number 07989838383 avoid, scam. Looking at the number of reviews with lowest rating, this is organized fraud.

Well where to start .Called AUTODOCTOR who then Had Mark Douglas Lowe contact myself We agreed on a time to arrive They did come did a check and told me 900 pounds to fix ,which we paid in good faith .And part would be here in a few weeks .Well dispite calling Mark Douglas Lowe many times Nothing is happening .He sent a reciept with an address that doesnt excist .And now when we call ,never get an answer Please AVOID AVOID AVOID this is simply a SCAM company set up to rip people off We contacted the police who said this sounds like a case for FRAUD BY DECEPTION .so i beg you one and all DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they have many phone numbers ,and esp dont ever do business with MARK DOUGLAS LOWE. HE IS A CROOK PLAIN AND SIMPLE.After reading reviews on Trustpilot he has done this up and down the country.

Contacted this company to look at an electrical fault with my car. Paid £60 up front as a call out fee. Carl who answered said he would get an auto electrician to contact me. After no contact I texted the number. Eventually got hold of him (Mark Douglas LOWE) arranged a visit. he had to be chased endlessly and on getting Auto Doctor to chase him as well, he took offence and called me malicious!!!! I said i simply wanted a job done, without all the chasing and endless delays. I feel he made up some lies and didn't attend to complete the job, having 'ordered the part' which I had paid up front for. Stories galore I could tell you, in the four weeks I had to deal with this gent and him side kick. VERY shocking customer service, lack of communication and lots of stories to make one feel for him and 'explain delay tactics' but are just out and out lies. Found some very damning info since........ABSOLUTELY APPALLING - Don't touch with a barge pole!!!!!

Contacted this company to look at an electrical fault with my car. Paid £120 up front. When I called the number it came up with plumber in Brentford. Brian who answered said he would get an electrician to contact me. After no contact I text the number. I was given the electricians number and asked to contact him. Eventually got hold of him(Mark) arranged a visit. Made up some lies and didn't attend. He came the next day didn't fix anything and left all the panels off. No further contact untill I chased him and Brian. He came back and said there was a problem with his software. He said he would collect the car but I would have to collect from Tynemouth. Over an hour away. I am trying to get my money back but the electrician has completed a job card saying the ECU needs to come out. Never told anything about this until I contacted them yesterday. A poor poor service with shocking customer service. I would advise that you do not go anywhere near this company.

complete scam..charged me £60 to arrange visit from rogue trader who asked me to pay upfront by bank transfer for car parts.(£676)
managed to get hold of him couple of times but 2 months later still waiting...managed to get money back from my bank but still down £60 to these numpties who never return my calls

How can a scam company improve keep away from these scammers.address is so called Oldham it’s a corner shop took £60 call-out fee and just fobed of police been informed keep away

Contacted this company, they took my deposit of £60.
Contacted the electrician, he wouldn't make an appointment, after a few weeks I messaged to cancel and asked for my deposit back,he didn't reply.
Don't use this company.

I only wish I had checked this company out. £60 for call out fee, yet no one came, a week after I had paid the £60 excuses, excuses the vehicle is not at home so I was left waiting when they said they were coming, surely they could have contacted me earlier if there was a problem I had spent best part of an hour waiting for him. After that messages and emails ignored or promises to check and get back to me, which they didn't Keep. Stay away I just wonder how some people can sleep at night.

Avoid avoid avoid. How fellow human beings can be so deceitful is beyond me. It’s a complete scam by rip off merchants

Arranged for a visit having had to pay a "call out" charge of £60 before a date could be arranged. No show on the date and despite unconnected calls, text messages and an email I didn't get a response. Reading previous reviews I contacted our card issuer reporting a suspected scam then within minutes we had a call from the "company", but having told the caller that we had registered a dispute claim he promptly hung up on me without apology or explanation. Avoid this company.

Awful experience. Phoned up and told I would be sent a link as I had to pay £60 up front, I would then get a call from the auto electrician,that would arrange a date and time to visit at £60ph plus parts. Didn't hear anything so contacted them by phone. Their excuse for not contacting me was that I had given them an incomplete phone number. OK perhaps I had fat fingers when typing, but the fact is my number would have been stored on their mobile phone when I initially called them. Eventually I get a phone call from said "auto electrician" explained what I needed to be done.
His reply "well I don't think that can be done"
Me "why? I've heard you only need to put a resistor in"
Him " you can't mess with these things, the airbag could go off"
Me " others have done it, it's a common mod" (van seat changed to a sport seat which has no airbag in side of seat. This was throwing up a light on a dash. A very common mod in the camper van community, which a lot of people sort out themselves)
Him "well it'll mean accessing the ecu"
Me "erm, I think you only then need to clear the code to get rid of the light"
Him, reticently "well, I can come out (date, time agreed) but I may need extra tools or equipment"

Surprisingly he didn't turn up. I contacted him by phone, 2 hours after the due time, to be told " sorry, I was on a difficult job and it's put me behind, can I ring you later in the evening, I have a lot of missed calls to answer?"
Me "Yes, sure,"
That's the last I heard. That was three weeks ago. A bit of research found ready made resistors professionally made which I fitted myself. Cost me £70 and done in 10 minutes. Bought myself An OBD reader and phone software (Carista) from Amazon (£30ish) and cleared the warning light myself.

Avoid this company/man. Complete waste of time and, in my mind stole my money.
