Had a knock on the door at the start of the year, guy saying they were 'doing work in the area' and pointed over the road at a house they claimed they were working on the next week. We had a draughty door and a couple of blown windows so was interested. Was told we could get a 2 year fixed quote, no obligations, arranged to have a salesman come by.

They had apparently double booked us so faffed around a bit rescheduling as we were busy. The office/admins were very quick and communicative.

Salesman came round, gave us the pitch. Claimed we could get money off under a 'help to buy' scheme which was a significant discount for having an Aventus sign up outside and for photos for them to use in advertising.

Initial quote was ridiculous. We went down to a quote for the 2 windows and door that needed work - ~13k. Salesman made a show of calling a manager to authorise the help to buy which brought it down to ~6k. Seemed too good to be true. In hindsight should have done research well ahead of the sales pitch - my fault. Gave us a spiel about them offering a premium service and they were a little pricier because they manufacture and install themselves. Wouldn't let us have time to think - we had to take that deal then and there or it was gone. Agreed based on discount. Wanted to pay in full as we had the savings and didn't want to be dragged into finance. Apparently not possible.

Sales guy hovered over my shoulder, watched me sign up for the loan. Once sorted, office arranged for a surveyor to call.

Arranged a date with the surveyor to measure up. Very professional, quick in and out - confirms what we wanted, gave a copy of the details.

Office calls and arranges for the install.

Day of install comes a month or more later - there's been no confirmation call. Gets to 10am and a little worried that we've stuck a deposit down (bring down the monthly) and no one's turning up.

Installers arrive at 10.30 and get on with it. Very friendly. I was working from home so gave them a pack of biscuits and teas and let them get on with it.

Nearly ~3pm and looks like they're finishing. Been sat in the van in the drive for a little while. One of them comes back, grabs me and wants to see if I'm satisfied.

Door looks good, finished to a high standard.

Bedroom window is great, no obvious issues.

Bathroom. There were gaps in the sealant and trim that didn't line up, making for a very ugly finish. I asked if he could take another stab at it and he had a little huff and puff as he went back to the van to get the sealant and have another go. I felt a bit bad, I'm not much of a diy'er so didn't know what the standard was, but it just looked wrong. He has another go and it does look a bit better than it was. I let them go, they stick up an Aventus sign on the fence before leaving. The sign isn't visible from the road, so seemed a bit pointless but whatever, I got a discount, right?

After they left I took a closer look.

We asked for a Letterbox on the front door, which hadn't been installed. There's also a hole at the bottom of the sill (can only assume it was damaged) which water can seep in to.

Bedroom window - some minor scratches on the glass, but that's whatever - still looks great to me.

Bathroom. There's gaps in the trim not joining up correctly, trim is bent in to position so it's not level or straight. Trim straight up looks scratched and scuffed in places. There's overlaps where there shouldn't be. There's sealant on all of the trim where they've just smeared it down instead of wiping away. Not sure if they re-used what they ripped off - but now it's damaged? We also have blinds - and they've put sealant over the bracket somehow - if we need to replace the bracket we'll need to take off a bunch of the sealant and re-seal. The finishing for the Bedroom and the door was great - so no idea why it's so bad in the bathroom. Honestly, wish we didn't include the Bathroom, it's so bad.

Anyway, given that we had this help to buy deal, I expected some kind of call or follow up. Weren't they supposed to take photos for advertising? It's why we got a discount after all, along with the sign no one can see.

~2 months on and I'm writing this review. I've never written a review before. There's essentially been 0 communication since they knew we were going ahead with the job. I was hoping they would make the effort to see if we were satisfied as it's been a while since the install. The sales pitches implied they took pride in their work. I intended to query the bathroom finish quality (with photos) before telling the loan/bank we were satisfied and start payments.

Starting to get chased by the loan/bank and still nothing from Aventus.

The experience has been sour and I'd urge anyone to do research before the pushy salesmen come round. I won't be recommending Aventus which is a shame because we were pleased with some of the process.

Beautiful door, very high quality. Installation was quick and everyone I have dealt with has been professional and friendly.

What made my experience great with Aventus is that Mt whole experience was made super easy and without any fuss. Starting with Mo the salesman he made it feel more of an informal chat rather than a sales pitch. He's advised on which door would works best for us as a family was perfect. And my neighbours have already commented on how stunning my new door is. As for the installers I couldn't fault them at all. Curtis and Dinsmoore were super polite and sang they way through the installation. All in all I would definitely recommend this company.

I had a cold call this week from a polite gentleman at Aventus, offering windows with a 2-year price guarantee, which initially intrigued me. After a follow-up call to confirm an appointment, everything seemed fine. However, things quickly went downhill when the salesperson turned up.

First, I was disappointed to see a different person than the one I had spoken to originally. To make matters worse, I immediately noticed the strong smell of weed on him when he arrived and even smelled it on his breath, which is completely unprofessional and inappropriate for a company representative. Although he was in a suit, his shirt was untucked and he appeared disheveled, giving a very unprofessional impression.

Instead of focusing on the windows, the salesman spent much of the time talking about his personal Airbnb business and showing me pictures of it. When we finally got to discussing the quote, I was shocked. For my modest home, the initial quote came to £30k, which I found laughable. He then dropped it to £23k after telling me I'd be part of the buying group. When I expressed my disbelief, he reduced it further to £12.5k. He also tried to tell me that a composite door alone would cost £2k from B&Q – when I know it’s available for £800 from Tool Station.

I was also concerned about his complete disregard for privacy, as he revealed personal details of a client, including their name and exact address, which is a serious breach of GDPR.

All in all, the whole experience was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and I felt like I was being taken for a ride. I would not recommend Aventus to anyone based on this interaction. I am extremely disappointed.

Very disappointed with the service we have received today. Cold-called and an appointment made with the promise of a 'two-year guarantee' on the price.
When the salesman returned, he was initially friendly and helpful. Having provided a quote, however, he then became pushy, reducing the price by 50% while telling us 'not to tell the neighbours'. He then offered to show us the price the neighbours have supposedly signed up for- quite probably a breach of GDPR but I guess anything is permissable if it gets a sale?!
He seemed unable to accept that we would not be pressured into signing on the dotted line immediately, and then stomped off rudely and did not leave the promised 'guaranteed' quote behind. Very unpleasant sales tactics, and I am tempted to go and check the neighbours are ok and haven't been pressured into anything!
We have been left feeling very uncomfortable having invited this person into our home. Very disappointing in 2026, and would certainly not consider this company in future (which is a shame for them as I would genuinely have considered the quote they had written down!).
Update- I spoke with someone from the office who rang with a follow-up, who apologised for the service we received. Unfortunately, my trust in this company is unlikely to be rebuilt.

Amazing service and quality will use again

Aventus provided an excellent service from start to finish, from the guy who delivered the flyer, salesman, surveyor & the fitters. I had all new windows, patio & front doors supplied & fitted and couldn't be more pleased. A special mention to the fitters, Si & Mason, who were brilliant. I have been so impressed with Aventus products & service that I am using them again to replace the guttering, soffits & facias.

Arrived on time, friendly, product seems to be well built, better than that being replaced. General finish good, having some more fitted.

The whole process, from picking the windows, survey and fitting was carried out in a friendly and professional manner. I would use the guys again if I needed to.

Everyone from start to finish was great. Work carried out to high standards. From initial call by the young chap at the door to the salesperson to Nick who fitted my new windows and porch were absolutely fantastic.

Just had a new front door and flat window replaced with a bow window. The window and door are both of a very high quality right down to the stainless steel letter box

From start to finish this company has been a pleasure to deal with. Nothing has been too much trouble and have just been back today to put right a few places where silicone had got missed.

The lads that did the installation (Wade, Ben and two others who I didn't get the names of) were extremely pleasant, very efficient and professional. They never stopped working even for lunch!

If there was one thing they could possibly improve on then it would be a quick call or text just to confirm that the work would be going ahead on the day it was booked for.

As we had never used Aventus before and we had taken them on after a cold call, we were a little apprehensive that we had had no contact from them since December when we had booked it in for 2 and 3 March. In the end all was well and we couldn't be happier. I have mentioned this to them

We would not hesitate to use them again and more than happy to recommend them. All I have to do now is persuade my husband that, yes, we do need a new back door and patio door!

l had not heard of Aventus prior to their contact , was sceptical at first but l was willing to see pictures of their product in situ and listen to their sales pitch .
Unlike other replacement window companies who have been in the game a long while and are somewhat long in the tooth , Aventus are a relatively new company with new ideas , new drive and up-to-date and good looking products .
My experience with Aventus has been positive , smooth and productive with an experienced all round team , from the lovely Katrina , who could not do enough to help , the office staff when needed and the installation team .
A good experience , and l am so pleased with the style of the windows , that l thoroughly recommend Aventus .

Just had our guttering sofits and fascias done by Aventus, cracking job guys, so pleased with it! We had our windows and doors by aventus last year as well and an absolutely cracking job done with those also!

28 years is a long time to hate your windows and now thanks to Aventus that no longer is the case.

From the first experience of booking the quote and throughout the entire process (quote, survey, installation and follow up) the company have been exemplary.

The quotation visit was relaxed and genuine and I didn’t feel pressured to agree to anything, all options with regard to the quote were explained to me and I particularly liked the transferable guarantee as standard should I decide to move home eventually. The price for my entire house (10 windows and a front door) was competitive and reasonable. The staff took everything into account when offering dates and honoured my prior commitments.

The survey visit was swift and efficient and I was kept informed of the progress of my windows manufacture at all times.

The fitting team led by Curtis were polite, respectful of my property and worked hard in horrendous weather to ensure the job was completed on time.

As with all projects of this nature it didn’t go entirely as expected…..a window frame arrived damaged and the incorrect door panel was also fitted meaning my cats couldn’t use the cat flap without a trampoline!

Cue the arrival of Sam - problem solver, fixer and part-time philosopher who; found a new window frame on the day and brought it over, created and fitted a solution to the door issue whilst my new panel was being made, refitted the new panel and cat flap and also fixed the other couple of minor snags with handles and a seal which you would expect from such a large project. Time had no meaning as he worked until it was finished (including a Friday eve in the dark) to his own high standards whilst conducting fascinating and entertaining conversations about life the universe and everything - every company should have a Sam.

This was a major project for myself and I was apprehensive however I shouldn’t have worried as Aventus delivered exactly what they promised and the result is fantastic - gone are my dated and dingy leaded monstrosities and now I have a light airy vista - even my plants have perked up! Did it go smoothly - not entirely - but the way issues are dealt with speaks volumes about a company and I cannot fault them in this respect.

The sales representative that visited us was very thorough with her explanations of how the company work and details of how the process works. They were not pushy in any way and we felt comfortable to make the decision we wanted to make.
The fitters were very efficient and very good with tidying up. They also let us know the process as we went along.
There was a problem with our windows as once fitted they did not open fully due to the lip on our soffits. The office called and re-arranged for our windows to be remade and then refitted 2 weeks later. This was all dealt with very quickly and at no extra cost to us as it was not our error.
We are very pleased with the finish product and would definitely recommend the company to other people.

Thrilled with our new front door. The service was always very professional and we are so happy with our finished product. We had an issue where the wrong glass was fitted but it was rectified within two days. Also gives peace of mind to know that it is guaranteed for ten years.
