I ordered a dress and what has eventually arrived bears no resemblance to the product advertised - poor quality and shoddily made. Very unhappy - and the original Facebook advertising and great reviews have all disappeared- what a con!

Buyer beware. Do not buy from this company. I bought a black dress which is as quite nice but had a broken zip. They offered a free garment if I paid postage of £21.

I asked for guidance re sizing and was advised to buy a size L. I did this and when the garment came, the top of the dress was about 6 inches too small and the garment quality was rubbish.

They had also offered me a discount and I ordered what looked like a silver sequin maxi kaftan style dress. I ordered it in a bigger size so that it would hang well. When it came, it was poor quality and like a second skin.

So, to summarise, I now have three completely useless garments which will now go to the charity shop.

I was in touch with their customer service re return and refund but they would only countenance this if I paid the postage. I argued that they should as they had advised me on what size to order but it was like talking to a brick wall or a robot. They refunded around £12 which is nonsense,

Please do not waste your money, and if you must, order about three sizes up from your usual size.

It gives me no pleasure to write a bad review, but I don’t want anyone else throwing their money away.

Absolutely awful experience. Poor quality products, shipped directly from China. I had to pay to return the items back to China (£54). No refund paid until the goods arrived back in China. Items refused by Chinese customs, Avery and Rose not responding to my emails (what a surprise)

Have returned my items that I purchased in November 2025 was told to return to china which cost me £17.94 sent proof of returns and e- mailed numerous time but still waiting to receive refund I would like to report this company as a taking peoples well earned money for rubbish quality and keep delaying refund x

Do not buy from this company!! The website looks and feels English and states, located in Manchester. In reality, it is a Chinese scam company hiding behind a smart English looking website. I ordered a handbag, it arrived after 2 months. It was dreadful quality, so cheap looking and nothing like the photo. I contacted Customer Services, and was told that it needed to be returned to China at my cost. I returned it via DPD tracked mail. It has cleared customs in China but their customer services say they will issue a refund when they are in receipt of the item. This was 3 months ago and I have now given up. Absolutely dreadful. I have tried to report the ad and have it removed from Facebook.
Update …Now after 5 months parcel has been refused/not claimed in China and returned to me so please do not waste any more money returning your items ☹️

If i could vote a minus star then I would. This fraudulent outfit doesn't even deserve a single star.
Like others i was conned with the cat head ornament. The item was definitely nit as advertised verbally or via the web site photographs.
I raised a polite complaint several times with averyandrose only to discover that that all complaints and returns and unlikely refunds are dealt with remotely at a warehouse in china and not in manchester as the averyandrose web site suggests is their location. Returns have to be to the warehouse in china at the costumers expense and risk. It is about time that these fraudulent outfits are banned, they know who they are and thankfully because of review sites such as this one other consumers can be warned.

Poor quality garment, asked for refund and you have to pay for the postage back which is more than the item I bought.Arrived late .Do not buy from this site, it’s a scam.

Utterly appalling from start to finish. The website looks and feels English and states, Established in Manchester 1992!!!! In reality, this is a Chinese scam company hiding behind a smart English looking website. Items arrived very late, far too late for my holiday, were poor in quality and look and despite stating that a refund label will be issued if you contact Customer Services, this was not forthcoming and was told that all items needed to be returned to China at my cost. Dreadful and shouldn't be allowed to continue to draw customers in through their website. I found them on Instagram so be warned. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. THIS IS FRAUD.

Wouldnt recmmend to be honest... unlike other experiences i did receive my ordered goods but the quality was awful

Awful experience. Bought boots in November when they arrived they were completely different to the advertised ones. Have repeatedly tried to contact customer services but no response, now the emails just bounce back. It’s the 2nd company I’ve had this issue with this Christmas. If anyone has managed a successful return I’d love to hear from you!

I ordered goods - quality was exceptionally poor and returned everything. Discovered not UK based and in CHina. On email promised full refund if I posted back to China which I did. No refund and parcel returned to me by Royal Mail saying it was not accepted by them upon delivery. Absolute scammers. Please never order from these people.

Prompt and excellent communication. Unfortunately the delivery window , as promised, ends up being extended.
The material of the garment is of disappointing thickness for a winter jacket.

Item received weeks after the order was placed and when it arrived, it was awful. As previous reviews have said, the material is cheap and looks nothing like the advert.
Emails keep bouncing back - i was trying to arrange a return, but this is impossible as you cannot contact the company. Ive requested a chargeback with my credit card.

There have been several difficulties: my order took almost a month to arrive. When it arrived I was not impressed with the quality of the garments and I would have returned until I realised that they came from China (which would cost £20+ to return). Although advertising indicates a small family firm in Manchester, garments are shipped from China.

Terrible. The boots were nothing at all like the photo - terrible quality - and of course no way of getting in touch with them. Total scam.

Absolutely really bad quality. do not buy from this site. This is not a small family firm it's rubbish china products. Please read the reviews before buying I wish I had. Looks like I'm £80 out of pocket as they seem to be doing everything rather than give refund. May have to go down the road of charge back from my bank. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Would have given no stars but no option to do it. If anyone has got a refund from this company please let me know how you managed it.

Bought a pair of boots. I cannot get hold of anyone to return them. I am trying to raise a resolution through PayPal.

This company is a Scam, they are not based in Manchester, they are false advertising, and there products are complete tat, I ordered a pair of boots and quite frankly they needed to go straight in the bin, they don't answer emails, so if you have bought anything contact your Bank and get a recharge, this company should be shut down by trading standards , and Facebook are a disgrace for allowing them to advertise on there

Absolutely disgusted. This jacket has taken about 6 weeks to arrive, it’s not like the image, the material is cheap & nasty.
I cannot seem to find a returns form, website is not available. Emails keep bouncing back.
I have left a message via their contact page but guess what…..no reply!!!!!!!
DO NOT BUY!
I am going to raise this issue with my bank, companies house, small claims court and trading standards.
Also going to report this to facebook.
