I signed up for the Academy after receiving Epic Professional certificate from Coursera, specifically to focus on levelling up my environment building - both technical and artistic.
I can definitely say you get full package and then on top. Thaddaeus provides courses that cover all aspects of building digital worlds, from ground up. Even knowing the basics after a 6-month intensive course, I learned tenfold from the Academy courses on PCG, Material Building, optimization - in just one month I was already rocking a solid mysterious new CAVE environment with cool lights and VFX and beyond. I could also recommend the Academy for people looking for art-focused coaching, and for those overwhelmed with Unreal Engine complexity. Provided material and coaching sessions allow to develop a solid, efficient workflow on building literally ANY environment, limited only by your imagination. Once you get the hang of each step, you can roll your own projects, get a gamedev job, open up your studio - chase your dreams :)
Finally I'd like to comment video material quality and the frequency of updates. Academy heavily relies on releasing short video instructions on hot questions from the community or yourself, that are being actively referenced and shared. There are tons of video tutorials on small technical things we always forget, and new ones pop up almost every day - from efficient grass spawning to bioluminescent water effects that interact with player's character.
Thaddaeus also regularly checks up on your progress and quickly responds to adhoc questions, despite having a handful of students querying him all the time! Not to mention the handful tooling like Automaterial and QuickScatter than he actively maintains.

TL;DR - highly recommend signing up and going through available courses, especially the 6-week challenge - or roll your own idea together with the Academy!

I have never been part of an online academy where the educator is so willing to reach out and help you personally. This, above all else, was the highlight of my experience at Aziel Arts Academy. You will be tried to find this level of commitment from an educator anywhere else online, and I commend Thaddeus for the work he puts in every day to give his students the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in the intensely competitive 3D arts industry. I’ve watched several tutorials from Aziel Arts and I’m really impressed by the quality of the videos and the way the content is explained. Thaddaeus has a natural talent for explaining things in a very clear and simple way. QuickScatter in particular really convinced me — it saves me a lot of time in level design.
I contacted the studio and received a prompt professional response.

Aziel Arts QuickScatter application is a fantastic addition to your Unreal Engine toolbox. It's so easy to use, but very powerful. I was up and running with it in just a few minutes. The included getting started videos make it easy to understand and cover all major features. For my workflow, QuickScatter is a wonderful way to fill areas of a landscape with very little effect, and no frustration. You can make lots of adjustments too - From the density and scaling to noise settings, you can customize the look of the elements to perfectly fit your scene.

I'm still pretty new to Unreal Engine, so an application like QuickScatter makes a task like foliage or object scattering simple and straight forward. I can highly recommend it. It's definitely worth the purchase!

Thaddaeus is a great teacher. He's quick to offer ideas and solutions when I hit a roadblock. The Academy is a treasure trove of information on environment design and the monthly meetings are great.

Thaddeaus is a great teacher and I highly recommend his academy. Besides a bunch of learning materials, especially for those interested in pcg, and access to some really good tools for environment design, the biggest benefit was answering all my questions in a timely manner. So, whether you want to learn specifically what the courses have to offer or get feedback and guidance from a professional on a specific project, you can't go wrong. Thaddeaus helped me make my best-looking environment so far and I really appreciate his help!

The best teachers are like a good friend. They are easily reachable, they are understanding of your issues and they want to see you succeed. This is exactly how Thaddaeus teaches. Even before I joined the Aziel Arts Academy, I had purchased a course from him and as I started the course he immediately reached out to me to check if I had any questions or if I was struggling with anything, and promptly answered any questions I had. Even when my questions were a bit out of topic, Thaddaeus did his best to research and propose solutions to me.

I learned a whole lot and made leaps and bounds in my craft during my time at the academy and I highly recommend anybody who's working on a game or a movie or anything that needs good environment art to join the Aziel Arts Academy to achieve great progress.

Thaddaeus is an amazing instructor with a massive breadth of knowledge in Unreal. He is extremely responsive and very detailed. Most questions are answered with video demonstrations created specifically for you. The monthly call is always very educational. There's also excellent deals on partner products. My skills in Unreal could not be as advanced as they are now without his help, and he makes it easy to want to learn more every day. I have been subscribed to the Aziel Arts academy for 6 months and I have no regrets at all, it has been fantastic.

First, WOW! Unreal is the best thing for creators, and Aziel Arts is a great place to learn Unreal Engine. I'm shocked at how short the videos are, but they are packed with so many gems. I started last week and am almost finished with the Environment Cinematics Bundle Course. I am waiting for the Lighting Course to drop. This group seems close, so you do get more interaction with the community. If I did have to say something I didn't it would be the weekly pay. I'd rather pay a flat fee. But other than that this is a great investment.

Thaddeus is very knowledgable and explains things a down to earth easy to digest fashion. He really cares to help people grow and it’s quite incredible that he takes the time to explain things based on specific individuals requests concisely and very timely. I would highly recommend his platform

Honestly, Aziel Arts academy isn't just a place for learning, (though it is definitely that), but its also the best outlet for growth and partnership. In my time in it, I've grown to look at things differently and learned that learning is a two way street. In the context of comradery and support found in this academy, I've grown both as an artist and as person.

From the moment I saw the first tutorial video from Aziel Arts I was blown away. Very good explained, step by step. This is what me joined the Academy where he is offering help and it doesn't matter on which level you are. In the academy if you have any question about unreal engine or you are stuck with something, you will be answered or helped on a way that you can continue your journey. If you want to grow as an artist I would for sure recommend this Academy

well Thaddaeus breaks that saying! He can do and is one of the best teachers I have ever been taught by. he explains each step he does, whether it's pressing something on the keyboard or clicking on the mouse so you can actually learn how he does it. You are never left wondering "now how did he do that?!"

Superb videos/ course for learning Unreal Engine. All modules were laid very well to help you to easily understand them, and also to be able to go back and refresh your understanding. The delivery of the content was also very positive.

Thaddaeus has definitely got the knack and talent to be a great instructor. The course is laid out very methodically and takes you step by step through the process of creating cinematics, and building the environment and scene from scratch. I am one of those students who has poured through countless YouTube videos trying to find the Holy Grail of information which centers on what I want to get out of Unreal Engine in order to unleash my creativity through virtual filmaking. I discovered the course by chance through his YouTube channel, and I am extremely satisfied with my results thus far. Of note are his chapters on materials. I never quite understood them...until now. Thadeus is a very personal instructor and reaches out to make sure his students know that he is available for feebback and assistance whenever it is required. Overall an amazing experience, and should there ever be a more advanced level course in the future, I most certainly will be diving headlong into it.

I am currently taking a course on Unreal Engine 5. While there are various tutorials available on platforms such as YouTube, this course is particularly helpful because it teaches the basics in a systematic manner. However, I struggled with understanding the material section due to my lack of background knowledge. Therefore, I believe that additional studying is necessary. Nonetheless, I anticipate that after completing this course, I will have a solid foundation, and I will be able to handle Unreal Engine easily by finding additional information on YouTube.

Great videos that really focus on useful skills that I didn't find elsewhere. He clearly explains a lot of fairly complicated subjects in a way that makes them easy to understand. He also covers project management, finding references, etc. I highly recommend his videos and look forward to anything else he makes.

Very clear, useful, well-paced & accessible for newbies :). A lot of aspects treated from start (mood board) to finish (color grading in Resolve). Give solid fondations for a gratifying result : for me it was a precious entrance door to the powerful (but complex) unreal engine.
