Uncomfortable planes
It was my favorite airline due to the friendliness and professionalism of its staff and also the comfort of the planes, but in relation to the latter aspect this is no longer true. Without a doubt, the number of seats on short- and medium-distance planes (travel) increased, thus reducing the space between them. So the last 4 trips I made London - Madeira (vs) were the worst of my life because I had my knees glued to the front seat. Next time I will look for other companies that make the same route.

Just like to thank the cabin crew and the cockpit crew for getting me away from a very stressful holiday in Norway after many flights being cancelled ba flight 769 departing Oslo airport at20.15 got me home in style even after me leaving my mobile phone at the gate which the ground crew speedily returned to me With only 10 seconds to take off I cannot thank you all enough ,and the stewardesses where angels and the coffee was most welcome kind regards steve altoft
Impossible to book advertised ticket
I've been on hold at 0844 493 0787 for 37 minutes now, with no end in sight, and no option for BA to call me back. The ticket, at £1,000+ can only be booked on this number, according to BA's online advertisements. Lousy customer service, like most things BA. Use another airline, if you can. I certainly will ... the wait is now 39 minutes, and ticking ...
Later: After 45 minutes, I finally got through and told the person how long I'd waited. She told me there had been no queue and only few callers, so something must be wrong with the phone system = BA IT, which is notoriously faulty. Could someone at BA please take responsibility for this and explain?
My flights from Cairo to the U.K
My flights from Cairo to the U.K. were cancelled by BA. I received an email 3 days ago informing me that they were cancelling flights for the next 7 days to review security at Cairo Airport. That was it, I have received no further correspondence from them considering I am due to fly in 2 days time. I have made numerous calls to BA and Expedia who I booked through, approximately 20 minutes a time, I daren’t think how much the phone bill will be. I was told on Sunday there’s no one at BA who can help you on Sunday, bearing in mind I need to travel this week. Eventually today (Monday) Expedia managed to claim a refund for me by contacting BA. However, this takes 2 weeks. I also paid an extra £75 to BA because I changed my flight dates, fair enough but this isn’t included in this refund as it’s not showing. Funny, it came out of my bank account the same day. I will be contacting BA if I ever get to England about that. Now I have to pay for another return flight and will be out of pocket before I get the refund. They offered nothing, no change of airline or refund. I’ve had to chase them. It’s a good job I live in Cairo and have a home here or I dint know what would have happened after Wednesday, my flight day. If it’s security I understand but where was their correspondence with me. I also find it very bizarre that none of this was done through the British Foreign Office and every other airline who flies to Cairo continues to do so!!i really do question their reasons and I’m hearing many stories about it all and they are doing this in order to hide their flaws and failings as it’s been well-publicised that they are struggling to find enough carriers and my flights were also downgraded from World Flyer to European Flyer. Appalling customer service!

Shameful action by British Airways cost us twice for our flight.
After booking a return flight for my wife and I from Heathrow to Aberdeen, a family bereavement and funeral arranged for the same day as our planned departure meant we had to change our outbound travel arrangements. Since our tickets were not transferable, we accepted that we would have to pay the full price for another outbound flight, which we did. Out of courtesy we contacted British Airways Customer Services, two weeks before the flight, to tell them that we wouldn’t make the outbound flight, but still needed the return flight. We were not expecting or asking for any refund. We were shocked when they told us that if we didn’t turn up for the outbound flight our return flight would be cancelled. Despite pleading with them and explaining the situation, they just wouldn’t listen. We were begging them to allow us to take the flight we had booked and paid for but they refused. The outcome was that we had no choice but to pay again full price for our return flight. They will no doubt re-sell the seats we have already paid for to somebody else. I have no doubt that they have fully covered themselves in the small print of their terms and conditions, but wonder how many other industries would get away with selling goods or services then not supplying them unless the customer paid again. I am not suggesting that this underhand practice is illegal in the airline industry, although it is completely immoral. I do however feel strongly that it should be made so. Has anybody else had a similar experience?
British Airways latest advertising campaign states “We love you Britain. You made us who we are”. Based on our personal experience with this company it appears that their real opinion of their customers is contempt and having been made into “ who they are” is nothing for them to be proud of.

Cut the story short, I had a dreadful time trying to book for our Indian holiday both for myself and my daughter.
We booked the flights with hotels from New Delhi to Goa but when we arrived the receptionist said sorry it’s booked for tomorrow!! We were so upset I offered to pay the extra night but was told sorry were fully booked, so she went off told the manager what had happened and managed to get us a room.
The fact is that the person booking from the beginning BA had no idea about India, bookings or anything at all but I thought I would give him a chance.
I called BA when we came back but they didn’t bother to call or write an apology back to us.
We had NO response from them at all 3 months later.
