I ordered a birth certificate for my grandson. Paid for certificate, shipping and a 15 dollar fee. After approximately 20 days I begin emailing them. Where is certificate? Why is it taking so long? Then finally after not hearing back I said I wanted my money back and thought the company was a scam. Finally I receive 4 emails not from the same site either. That my order was cancelled and they charge a 15 dollar cancellation fee.

Ran a check on myself, chose tab specifically for that, then had to verify I'm me, finally got 4 reports that weren't even close to being me. So, after paying 21 $ for for BS reports, I can absolutely conclude that company is a scam

They report NON-criminal activity (civil violations) as "Criminal" on their reports. For me, it was two $15 parking tickets that were immediately paid in full the day they were received. I advised them that they were in reporting violation, since the state does not classify parking tickets as criminal, unless they are never paid. I disputed it and they removed them. I ordered a second report from them and the tickets were back on the report! Shameful. Employers, please do not use this company.

Results were fast--under 5 minutes from when subject completed the verification. The Basic Search is very basic--social security number verification and criminal history (none in this case). Check out what you get with each product.

The information that was obtained was inaccurate. Showing criminal history on someone that has no criminal background. Poor!

Beware. This company is absolutely not quick. The steps involved include verifying the identity of the requester (with social security number - so your credit will be hit), then they need to verify the identify of the person whose report you are requesting. Then, I suppose, at some point, you get the results of the report. I say, I suppose, because, the 2nd step mentioned above which was finally completed yesterday (after 2 different work arounds to get the person ultimately verified) but it is end of business today and still nothing. Two follow up emails for status of when to expect the results have not been replied to. Getting to this point has been arduous. This company is not user friendly. You don't get an email telling you to do a step. You better read, log in and figure it out. Then you better call in and remind them to complete the step on their end or it will not be done. On top of that, they insist they sent emails that do not show up and the prospective employee had to verify on line, over the phone and finally by email to ultimately get verified. I know this to be true because their start date has come and past waiting for this background report to be done, so they are already working in my office subject to the results of this report. This is not the way I like to do business. It is not the steps in the process that give them this rating, it is the length of time, lack of response and complete lack of accountability and professionalism on their part. I started this process on May 18th and it is end of business on May 25th and again, I have no report and no response of when I might expect one. An email requesting a refund so that I could go elsewhere have been responded to. I will have to start the process with another company at this point. Do business with this company as your own risk. You have been warned, FYI - I have never reviewed a company online that I can recall. I typically go with the flow and understand there are hick-ups along the way. There was just no way I could not warn people about this company. Good Luck!

I got my background report within about five minutes of my applicant verifying their identity on BackgroundReport.com. The report was super thorough - showed previous addresses and criminal records and even bankruptcies and such. I had a question about one of the records that came up on the babysitter I was screening, so I called in at about 3:30pm on a Saturday (awesome!). The woman I talked to was incredibly helpful, explained what I was seeing, and really took her time with me to make sure I was comfortable before we hung up. I will DEFINITELY use this service again.
