After ordering a wing back chair I was able to contact Balmoral Textiles in order to obtain a matching length of leather to re upholster a footstool which I owned. The staff confirmed my request and quickly processed my order which I picked up personally. To my delight I was supplied with extra leather which let me make a matching cushion. Delighted with the service and product.

Disappointing but adequate
Disappointing. For almost £100 for four castered legs I expected much higher quality. The wood is quite cheaply finished, and the brass cup, if it is brass, has a poor finish. Quite a few dark blemishes and pitting in the surface which will not clean or polish out. Solvol Autosol polish tends to remove the brass colour. Hmmmm. Brass wheels are ok, the central pivot rod is a bit of a sloppy fit for the pivoting caster. At the end of the day these are pretty much hidden under the pouf we bought, so it makes little difference. Like I say, disappointing for the money, but adequate.
