I’m very disappointed/no consideration to loyal customers
I’m very disappointed. I am a local and have been a loyal customer of this shop.
I saw the advertisement that the first 30 customers would receive a free pastry with their coffee. I came to the store at around 7:40 a.m. to buy flowers for my mum (mother’s day) and a coffee. However, I did not receive the free pastry. I was later told that there was a rule that customers had to show the post, which I was not aware of.
In SuperValu Dalkey, the staff usually inform customers about special offers. Sometimes they even remind you that if you buy one more item, you can get a “buy one, get one free” deal. Unfortunately, at the Barnhill store, the staff did not mention the special offer or show any consideration. Their prices in this shop are much more expensive compared to other stores.
It also makes me wonder about elderly customers who shop here, as they may not know about social media posts or special rules attached to promotions.
I hope the shop can improve communication about promotions and show more consideration to customers in the future.
