Really pleased with my new landing and kitchen slimline sash windows in N1. The installation was completed to an excellent standard, and the quality of the work was fantastic. Elle and the team provided great customer service, were professional throughout, and left everything clean and tidy.
Having agreed a full scope of sash windows restoration the work actually completed was of extremely poor workmanship and craftsmanship with both repairs and painting bodged such that in less than 6 months the windows have deteriorated significantly. I’ve never experienced such poor workmanship having paid a substantial sum. I would avoid this company at all costs!
The correct response to this issue would be to do an independent follow up to physically see the poor workmanship and deterioration in the repairs/restoration, this clearly demonstrates the lack of professionalism and customer care this company shows and reputation in its workmanship.

We strongly dispute the allegations made in this review. The matters raised were discussed extensively over a prolonged period and Barnsbury Joinery sought opportunities to review the concerns raised. When the parties were unable to resolve matters directly, the dispute proceeded through a formal process which has since been concluded.
It is therefore incorrect to suggest that concerns were ignored or that Barnsbury Joinery failed to engage. Due to confidentiality obligations, we are unable to comment further on the specifics, but we stand by the quality of our workmanship and professional conduct throughout this matter.
I recently had the fascia boards on the front of my house professionally repaired and couldn't be more pleased with the results. The restoration work was carried out with great care, focusing on preserving the original features rather than replacing them. All repairs were done by hand, including detailed resin work to restore damaged areas. Every inch was meticulously hand painted, giving the boards a beautifully finished look. The final result is outstanding — the fascia boards now look as good as new while retaining their original character. Highly recommend for anyone looking for high-quality, thoughtful restoration work.
Dean and Ella were very kind and attentive to all details when helping me to assess all faults of the windows made by another company. They did the work within tight timeframes and respected the deadlines. Don’t waste your time going elsewhere, pick Barnsbury joinery! Excellent folks!
