Telford Depot
We were impressed by the simplicity and ease of hiring a vehicle from the Telford Depot. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful when we collected and returned the van, and dealt politely and efficiently with the paperwork and payment. The vehicle’s condition and cleanliness could not be faulted, and pricing was also surprisingly good, with no hidden ’extras’. Would definitely recommend, and will have no hesitation in using them again. PC.

Scammy grifters, rude manager
Hired a van (and paid for) for what I was told was a 24 hour hire, I mentioned on the phone this was all fine as I expected to get it done in a morning and afternoon. Taking the van back involved a 40 mile round trip.
When I went to pick up the van, I realised I was actually gonna be pretty tired after driving to Sheffield and back, and it would be much more convienient for me to drop the van off in the morning (still within my 24hr hire).
The very cocky and self assured member of staff told me this was not possible, as he had hired it out in the morning, because of what I mentioned on the phone. No apology, the manager seemed to be quite happy in fact he had managed to jam the bookings in.
A few days after the van was returned, I am contacted by the same very rude member of staff to inform me I have gone into a bus lane in Sheffield city centre. This is fine, and obviously I need to sort out the penalty.
What is not fine is the "admin" charge from Bayfield. £42 inc VAT.I pointed out that this charge is incredibly excessive, when the admin involved is a 5 min phone call, and an invoice!
The manager however to enjoy charging me with this, and his only responses to my protest was "that it was in the terms and conditions" and "I won't get it lowered or waived"

Had to hire a car after mine broke down…
Had to hire a car after mine broke down in the way to a funeral. I used the Ely branch and they couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. And it was super reasonable. Will definitely use them again
