Nightmare of an experience

Honestly whatever you do, go with anyone else but these guys. The closest thing I’ve come to a scam in Australia.

Initially all seemed well they did a good job of selling me but website looked legit so I went along with it. I gave a detailed quote on the house, it’s rooms and even down to the number of blinds. For reference it was a 2 bedroom unit with a single bathroom. They quoted $350 and I thought initially a bit expensive but whatever.

I get a call while at work that the cleaners need an extra $175 to clean the house. So I head over to the house and ask what’s gone wrong. Their response was literally ‘The house is dirty’. This was when I realised they do this for every customer. They give a quote then ask for more money when they arrive because they know you need it cleaned and you’re unlikely to have time to get another cleaner before move out date.

So I called and argued and all sorts to plead my case but their response being: ‘quotes are just estimates’ which is fair enough but I couldn’t believe they were off by so much. Regardless I go back to pay the extra money because I realise this isn’t going anywhere and I have no choice but to pay the money. So I do. The cleaner then starts abusing me saying he already booked another job and they aren’t finishing the house. Mind you I sat around and tried to talk to them and he told me it takes 3 hours to clean a kitchen properly (this gets juicy in the end) and watched them do almost nothing but wipe the kitchen over and over spots that had already been cleaned.

So I get on the phone to the office and they’re obviously a little apologetic and say he will be there in the morning to finish the job. I roll up in the morning and see them back very unhappy and again abusing or flat out ignoring me when I point out parts of the house that need to be finished for the inspection to be covered.

They leave in the end and the house looks average at best but nothing I can do. Real estate gets back to me a week and a half later which is fair they say it only covers 7 days which again be careful cause most real estate’s won’t get there in less than 7 days. The real estate says they’re going to need $200 to cover what was cleaned poorly. You wouldn’t guess but not even the oven or dishwasher got cleaned. So the 4sqm kitchen that took 3 hours didn’t even get cleaned properly haha.

All in all:
- Abusive
- Unprofessional
- Slow
- Expensive/Scam
- Poor cleaning ability

Worst clean ever

Worst clean ever. They charged for a 4 hour service and I don't even believe 1hr was provided. Would not recommend. When I called after I had sent the report to them there was no offer to go back or to offer some sort of refund. I now have to organize another cleaner.

We want to address your concerns and provide some context regarding your booking. The service you selected was a spring cleaning, which does not include a reclean opportunity. During the booking process, our team informed you that the property needed to be reviewed on the same day of the cleaning. If there were any issues, they needed to be addressed immediately with the cleaner on-site. Unfortunately, in this instance, the property was not reviewed on the same day, which is why no reclean or refund is applicable.

We have thoroughly reviewed the Exit Report you sent and found several missed areas that were not part of our spring cleaning service. Therefore, we are not responsible for those specific issues.

Despite this, we are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. As a gesture of goodwill and to demonstrate our commitment to resolving this matter, we have arranged a reclean of your property on August 11, 2024.

Thank you for your understanding and patience. We hope this resolution will restore your confidence in our services.

Unsatisfactory, did not get my bond back, negligent and unprofessional

Please don't waste your money or energy on this company. I booked them for a bond clean on a 3B3B unit, here's what happened:
1. They did an unsatisfactory clean; missing many areas including stairs, sink areas, corners of rooms, etc. They left all the lights and fans on. Worst of all, they left the back sliding door wide open which is a huge safety and security risk, and negligent behaviour.
2. When the landlord showed up to the property 2 days later (meaning the back door had been open for two full days), a bunch of debris and dirt was had come back into the property and they were forced to cancel the inspection they had planed.
3. My bond was being held back, and I booked a reclean with them. *They never showed up*.
4. This resulted in the landlord having to bring in their own cleaner as the property was about to be tenanted again. This cost me having to pay for the additional cleaner in order to get my bond back.
5. Upon complaining, BCIC "analysed" the ECR and invoice, offering 1/3 of the additional out of pocket costs because things fell "out of their scope" that they wouldn't have cleaned anyway.
6. I continued to push them for a refund of the original service that they did not deliver on (initial unsatisfactory clean, not showing up for the guaranteed reclean) to which they finally offered $200 total (mind you, I've paid an additional $325 out of pocket for the additional clean, on top of what I paid BCIC) under the condition that I do not leave any reviews or file any more claims, also known as hush money.
7. Lastly, I had to repeat information in every email and ever phone call - their system does not seem to be connected at all. They are not professional at all, when you call them they answer (IF they answer) with "Hello?" making you wonder if you're even talking to a real company.

Please, do yourselves a favour and don't use this company.

Firstly, we apologize for our cleaners leaving the back door of your property open after completing the bond cleaning. We acknowledge the potential security issues this oversight could have caused. Please rest assured that this was not intentional. We have escalated this matter to our Cleaner Quality Team, and they are taking immediate actions to prevent such incidents in the future.

We have also carefully reviewed the exit report provided by your property manager. We are pleased to note that the property manager mentioned, "The property in general was very well presented with no evidence of damage," indicating overall satisfaction with the cleaning. However, we recognize that there were specific areas of concern. After a detailed review, we found that some of these areas fall outside our BCIC inclusions:

Back Balcony (a complementary service for which we do not charge) Patio hosing

The following is the list of areas covered under BCIC inclusions that required a re-clean:

Entrance area and fly screen Glass sliding door off the balcony and cobwebs on the fly screen door Oven Dishwasher Kitchen benchtop panels Both bathroom shower recess and shower screens (evidence of soap scum) Glass sliding door in bedroom 2 (first left at the top of the stairs) and balcony Glass sliding door in the main bedroom and mirrors on wardrobes Staircases, including stain removal and the panel facing the lounge room Air conditioning filters

Additionally, we reviewed the itemized invoice you provided and found several extra areas cleaned by the other cleaners hired by your property manager, which were not mentioned in the exit report:

All hard surface floors clean, hair found on door skirting, floor tiles wash and mop Dust on top of all doors and drape rails Range hood - steam clean Wall spot cleaning Air conditioning test and heating flow Outdoor balcony table and terracotta tiles, sweep up leaves and rags found thrown around

As these areas were additional to our standard service, no refund is applicable for them.

Based on this comprehensive review, we offered you a resolution and sent you an email to accept that resolution. We would like to clarify that the terms mentioned are not binding but are a polite request. However, the resolution accepted by you shall be considered as a final settlement for all claims brought against this job. Unfortunately, our offered resolution was denied by you.

We believe that the offered resolution is the best we can provide. So we once again request you to confirm if we can proceed with this resolution.

We deeply regret any distress caused and appreciate your understanding. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

DO NOT USE THiS COMPANY!

Booked for an EXIT CLEAN. The two cleaners turned up over an hour late after several phone calls from me to a variety of mobile numbers. Had very basic, grubby equipment with them and no real idea of what was expected. Paying the full, rather expensive price, up front is ridiculous, but unless you pay, they don’t clean!
Totally failed inspection with 52 photos from the agent!
I would definitely NOT recommend this “company” to anyone.
