I went to a wedding this weekend and the couple met through SALT - they were on the app but also had multiple touch points with different matching programmes on the YouTube channel. It's clear the team behind this are working really hard.

Spoke with them through a review platform and asked me to send them an email to their support email. Sent it and they never responded.

Don’t even waste your time. Another review appeared with the exact same issue I had the in the same week. So it’s a known issue that they can’t/wont fix.

I met my husband the first week I was on there in 2024. We got married in 2025 and have been so happy together! Highly recommend the app.

Miserable experience they say they are Christian I’m not sure about that I pay one time for one week to try the app dating really I didn’t like it at all so I was waiting to the weed I paid for to end so I can cancel my my account before the weekend. They pull money from my account without authorization from me for the following week when I emailed them right away to refund the money to my account and cancel my account she make excuse and she said she cannot so I found the wrapping people money without authorization from them. I have to change my debit card. Be careful guys if you don’t like it delete your account right away.

We hope you are doing well. We wanted to share some incredibly special news with you and thank you for the role SALT played in bringing us together.

My partner Ruach and I matched on SALT on the 5th of September, and we met in person on the 7th of September 2025. Although our relationship started a little rocky and life took us in different directions for a while, God had other plans for us. Six months later, we found our way back to each other, and since then our relationship has grown into something truly beautiful and meaningful.

We have now been together for five wonderful months, and we are getting married in March 2027.

Because we are currently doing long distance, I recently spent two weeks on holiday visiting her and her family. During my visit, on Monday, I asked her father for his blessing and permission for her hand in marriage. It was such a special and emotional moment for all of us, and it made this journey feel even more real and exciting. We are truly, truly so excited to have our very special wedding together and begin the rest of our lives side by side.

Both of our families, as well as ourselves, are unfortunately not financially stable, so planning our dream wedding has been challenging. Even so, we are incredibly grateful for the love, support, and blessing we have found in each other through SALT.

We were wondering if there may possibly be any way SALT could assist us in sharing our story, helping us start a fundraiser, or supporting us in any small way toward making our dream wedding possible. Any help, guidance, or even simply sharing our journey would mean the world to us and would be deeply appreciated.

I just joined today and the age range I put in was 48 to 55 and there is only a few people that age on in. Very disappointed don’t waist your money

Highly recommend it for Christians looking to connect with other Christians. Love the Salt tables that are held because they help people understand how to approach the dating scenario and gives people a better opportunity to match. Though it is a bit pricey, like most apps I guess 🤭.

Useless & Awful app - avoid

I paid for subscription but cancelled it in February due to personal circumstances. Today at the beginning of April the subscription was taken again. It is difficult to contact anyone to sort this out.

SALT is a terrible dating app. I paid for premium as I had hope I would get to see more match suggestions.
As a premium subscriber you dont get any additional match suggestions. In addition, I must have sent out 50/60 messages and not a single reply possibly because unless the person recieving the message is not on premium to be able to see my message. I have recieved likes and mailed a few of them and still not one single message have I recieved. It appears the site is only focused on pushing premium subscriptions (which are expensive to comparison apps).
Moreover, they hit your account for payment before the due date. I have now cancelled my subscription and I would not advise anyone to use it. It does not provide the service the marketing claims.

My experience with SALT has been great. As a woman I'd recommend it because there aren't any catfishes because you have to be verified before you join. It's a great app to meet fellow Christians whether to date or court

I paid for premium because I wanted to see more people, and yet they still only give you a limited amount per day 🤦‍♀️ The app is great, there are real people and it's very easy to use, that would only be my complaint
