Beacon Audiology Avis 

The attention I received from Dr Cummings was superb. Obviously she is very knowledgeable and she was most caring and attentive to my particular situation. My visit to Beacon Audiology could not have been more successful.

The appointment was on time. The testing appeared to be extremely thorough. Also, the team were really nice, explained the process really well and that included the results at the end of the session.

While waiting in the reception I noticed a common thing. Many parents on this day were told to make another appointment to come back. So I was almost expecting to be told the same, and sure enough we were told the results were un-definitive and will have to take another day off work and spend another €180 to come back and hopefully get results we need. Has anyone else experienced this issue ?. Sounds like money making to me

Fiona was very professional, polite and explained everything thoroughly. Also answered all questions in great detail. Very interesting tests and great technology used to ascertain both hearing and balance tests.

I had a good experience, the staff were very professional and put me at ease while doing the various hearing test. They explained what I should experience in advance, sought feedback/questions and took time to explain the processes. overall a good experience.

I had my hearing test done with Alison which I was very happy with and I was then recommended to have an Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) assessment. I booked in with Fiona O’ Sullivan who was assisted by a trainee assessor Fiona for the APD assessment. As an adult with ADHD and Autistic person, I can find assessments nerve wrecking and overwhelming. The kindness, patient and professionalism I experienced was incredible! My experiences were listened to and I left feeling understood and empowered! APD is something I never knew impacted so much of my life and getting assessed was the best thing I could have done. It doesn’t just impact kids and can affect so much of your life. The education and resources I was given after were so helpful. I highly recommend beacon audiology!

My reason for awarding five stars is primarily audiologist Alison, an exemplary professional, knowledgable and caring, the kind all businesses and organisations wish for.
Also, front reception personnel were responsive and personable, two other critical qualities in customer-facing roles.

The treatment & care that u recieved was exceptional.

The audiologists in the Beacon were amazing with my 3 year old daughter. They were funny and animated, making it all into a fun game for her so she never found any of the hearing tests scary. They were like medical versions of Ms Rachel!

Fiona OSullivan was amazing and dealt with my 13 year old with such great skills. Fiona asked Conor how he felt which was amazing as I didn't realise how he felt . The way she explained the situation was with great respect and Fiona was a pleasure

Staff were helpful, engaging and cheerful which put me at ease.

Complex aspects of hearing were demystified and all of my questions were answered clearly.
The examination was thorough and the report was explained.

I had 2 treatments - Audi investigation Test and Balance investigation test. In both instances the therapist, Fiona, was very professional and explained every step along the way. Highly recommended .

I recently attended an appointment with the audiology team at the Beacon for my 2-year-old son, and I was so impressed with how the entire process was handled. The test was conducted in a way that perfectly accommodated his young age, and the nurses were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout.
