I ordered one large men's tank. The top came in the mail with a black smudge and appeared to be stained. I requested a refund and was charged a handling fee of $7.00
What a waste of time and money for a mediocre fit
Products feel okay, but are wildly different fitting/sized than you see online. When you contact the company, you're informed that you can exchange or pay a fee to return. Kind of lame. Don't fall for their ads.
Purchased a pair of shorts from Bear Bottom after having bought from them before and loving their shorts. Unfortunately, my latest pair from began pilling and reached out to Customer Service for help. They told me they would replace the shorts, without any additional expensive and clearly told me an estimate of when they would be replaced.
Blocked the ability to return an order. When I reached out, they first asked me why I had multiple returns (I had purchased previously, and returned a small subset -- just like any online clothing brand should expect). When I pointed them to their return policy, they changed their stance and said it was a "bug" in their system (which is a complete lie) and they did not have a problem with my return.
Strongly recommend against purchasing from this brand, they don't know how to value repeat customers.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I believe these Trustpilot reviews are so important for consumers—and I wanted to make sure others knew what I experienced with Bearbottom Clothing.
I received my first order, and the pants were great—fit well, looked good, felt solid. Unfortunately, they got completely ruined by a local tailor. Totally my fault. I reached out to Bearbottom to let them know what happened—not expecting anything, just sharing what went wrong—and what I got back was some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced.
Even without a phone number (which, honestly, I usually see as a mark of integrity in a company), their email response time was phenomenal. Fast, professional, helpful. They took care of me in a way that felt human and generous—not just transactional. They helped me place a new order, followed through every step, and made what could’ve been a frustrating situation into one that actually built trust and loyalty.
When the new order arrived just a couple of days later, I was blown away again: the fit is great, the quality is amazing—honestly, the clothes are outstanding.
Bearbottom is doing a lot of things right. Great product, excellent response time, and customer care that feels genuine. I’ll continue to order more and more from them. Once I find a company like this, I stick with them.
