When the charcoal that I had ordered was ot of stock Nick contacted me via text message out of normal business hours to let me know and give me the chance to cancel the order.
I was then Kept updated throughout and was informed the supplier had put the price up but Nick did not want any extra towards his costs.
Great customer service from Nick and I will be ordering again from him

Took a few days to arrive, well packed and I used them last week. Large pieces of charcoal that were easy to light and lasted a reasonable time. Some pieces felt quite light. In general good larger pieces of charcoal at a reasonable price with free delivery. I bought 1 bag to try it out and I wasn’t disappointed. I’ll be buying more.
Thus is genuinely good stuff, big bits, little bits, so all cooks catered for, my kamado is still.humming 😉 would happily buy again
I've been part of the beard smoke group for a couple of months now and smoking with the beard smoke mini 'un, Nick and other people in the group have helped me go from being a complete newbie at smoking to being able to make some decent food. Nick keeps contact with people in the group and we all give each other ideas with recepies and ideas. It's been a fun journey so far, not just for me but for my family too!
Such an amazing smoker! I bought this as a present and it went down really well. Nick was super helpful and communication was spot on, throughout the whole process. So much care and attention to detail has been put in to the build of the smoker, resulting in a top quality product. Would highly reccommend supporting this local, Yorkshire business.
