Also why i gave a 3 star was the all inclusive food was bland and not at all exciting. Additionally they have a fly problem. They are everywhere in the dinning area and this is when its not even hot.
For that reason im not sure if would return.

Belive Hotel - 5 star- This hotel is nowhere near a 5 star hotel.
All inclusive was not all inclusive – local wine, local beer and very limited list of local spirits (Rum, Vodka, Gin) all of these were below standards of decent tasting alcohol. The menu for cocktails was also limited. No possibility of getting a Negroni, Old Fashioned, Strawberry Daiquiri, etc
There should be transparent information on what “all inclusive” actually is, with a note to say that this is local wine, local beer, local and limited spirits. With a note to say you can pay extra for premium wines – which we did as the local wine was poor, to say the least.
Other disappointing notes:
Nescafe packets for coffee – we would expect a Nespresso machine to be in the room.
No sports channels on tv in the room
No table service at pool
We needed to get coffee from the other bar if you wanted coffee after dinner.
Breakfast was too busy-queues for toasting bread, getting an omelette.
Queues for getting a table some evenings as not enough available tables for the peak time of dinner.
Another disappointing part of staying at this hotel was only being allowed to use the alternative restaurant once in a 7 night stay. The alternative restaurant in the hotel was very good.
On the positive side, the rooms were clean, all the hotel staff were friendly. The hotel staff worked hard but with the amount of people in the hotel, there were delays in getting the bought wine back to our table in good time.
We ate dinner at The Sofitel Hotel one evening, which was excellent -that is a 5 star hotel– fully stocked bar. Full waiter service with an extensive list of wines and drinks to choose from. Perhaps YGT should visit the Sofitel and see how first hand the difference in what is provided there and what the Belive Hotel provides. There is a world of difference.
Having taken the complimentary shuttle for the Souk, when we were dropped off, there were no signage for the souk – a map would have been helpful.

🌟 Stunning location, but disappointing service
The club enjoys an exceptional setting, but the level of service and dining falls far short of the standards expected from a five-star establishment.
🍳 Tedious breakfast experience
You have to wait over 15 minutes just to get a simple omelette. Empty dishes are not refilled spontaneously—you have to point them out and then wait several more minutes.
🍹 Inconsistent cocktails
Ordering a mojito becomes a challenge: either it’s served with syrup due to a lack of mint, or the bartender has to go elsewhere to find ingredients, which significantly increases the wait time.
🍽️ Questionable meal organization
During mealtimes, the cooks deliberately create queues by slowing down service, which causes tension among guests and limits the distribution of food. If you request a dish before the buffet officially ends, you may be shocked to hear it’s already “finished”—well before the scheduled closing time.
🎁 Unacceptable staff behavior
Most surprising of all: a chef was seen handing a gourmet dish—carefully wrapped—to a guest in exchange for a tip… while that same dish was declared “unavailable” to other guests.
⚠️ These seemingly minor details ultimately degrade the overall experience and leave a negative impression. Over time, this could seriously damage the club’s reputation.
Be Live Puerto de la Cruz Tenerife
After reading some of the reviews I actually regretted making my booking however I had absolutely nothing to worry about!! Hotel and staff were lovely. You have to take into account that this hotel is on the ‘old’ side of the island so things are a bit dated but everything was clean and facilities good. Room was comfortable, showers and lifts all worked fine. Staff were fantastic and restaurant served a huge variety of choices so you couldn’t go wrong (and I’m a fussy eater. Please don’t let negative reviews put you off!! Lots of local shops including 2 supermarkets, 10 minute walk to beach. Lovely and quiet at night too. My daughter and I went for a 5 day break after a stressful 18 months and enjoyed every minute. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday.
Another fantastic stay……but
This was our 10th stay at the Marrakech hotel, and another great experience. We took our extended family to show them why we go back again and again, and they all had an amazing time.
The entertainment team (Salim, Sami, Emma, Oussama, Mahmoud and Red) are amazing and cannot do enough for the guests. They really earn all of the amazing feedback they get.
Achraf runs a great bar/restaurant team, and key shout outs to Doha, Sara, Zizzo, and Farid, as well as the many helpful and attentive staff in the restaurant! The “but” is around the evening bar staff. Azdeen (Zizzo) has been fantastic at marshalling the team for many years, ably supported by Farid. With Azdeen now at the snack bar and Farid moved to the Experience hotel, it is a huge gap to fill and Oualid needs to up his game to do that. Only time will tell whether he is able to do that. But it does seem like you have moved your “Mo Salah” to the snack bar, which seems odd!
We will be back in 10 weeks, it is our “happy place”, so will re-assess then.

Just got back from Be live collection- marrakech. Beautiful resort, fantastic food and amenities. There are options of entertainment and the staff do not pester for you to join in.
A quiet pool with swim up bar where our bar tender Ahmed was extremely attentative and even brought us endless drinks and created his own! A truly lovely soul!
The livelier pool where you could watch the fun or join in at your own pace!
Everything was always clean and the staff were hardworking and approachable and could not help you more! Would give 6 stars if I could!

En buffet der forøvrigt er det absolut ulækreste jeg nogensinde har set, maden er ækel og dårligt tilberedt, og det er uanset hvilket måltid man vælger, vi tog halvpension, men droppede det da vores maver blev slået i stykker efter den første aftenbuffet.

Just got back from a 10 day stay Be Live Experience in Marrekesh. An excellent Hotel, clean, great food, espeically the local Tagine dishes and salads, brilliant staff all round, including the reception and front of house team, cleaners, the restaurant and bar staff, not forgetting the very hard working and excellent Animation Team lead by Smiley and abley assisted by Pitcho, Chinwi, Noura and the Lead Child Entertainer and DJ. Treating your customers fairly
Had an issue with all inclusive package and damp bedding. We asked to speak to Genaral Manager, Jose. We were informed that he would not be available until 930. We went to reception to be told he was in a meeting and would be available after that. When going back at instructed time he could not be located either by phone or in person. We eventually asked receptionist if he did not want to talk to us could we pass our concerns on to her. It was at this moment Jose came out of the back of reception. The outcome was a call to operator at Easyjet. The operator spoke to Jose to explain that the downgrade needed to come from him. At this point Jose informed us that he would resolve this and get in touch by phone taking our personal telephone number. On arriving back to our room the bedding had been put back on the bed and was still damp. We called reception who came immediately to the room and informed that we needed to speak to Jose before 430. Back down to reception and was informed that he had to go home and would not be back until Monday. The receptionist Manager came out to inform us. We had not received a call as promised. Informed he had to go to which we pointed out that a call can be made no matter were you had to go. The issue is no longer about the poor food and drinks or the damp bedding but about the constant lies and being treated in a disrespectful manner by a General Manager of a 4 Star hotel. Jose would benefit from taking training from his staff as they were more than accommodating and honest.
Be Live adults Puerto de la Cruz
We went to the excellent Be Live Adults Hotel in Puerto de la cruz Tenerife for our honeymoon in February, it really was fantastic, the staff were very helpful, the room great with a breathtaking view of Teide to greet you every morning, the food was very nice with a good variety of dishes every day. The pool was amazing in the sun all day and with it's own bar just a few steps away. The bar inside the hotel was also great with very generous measures. We will definitely be going back when we get the chance.

Hotellet fremstår gråt, trist og uden charme og atmosfære.
Hotellet er meget slidt. Flere steder skaller malingen af på både lofter og vægge. Restauranten minder om en trist kantine uden hygge og billeder på væggene. Personalet i restauranten virkede stressede, og når man spurgte om en refill af en madvare, skete der ikke noget. På trods af dette, var det en udemærket morgenmadsbuffet.
Værelserne er også slidte. Nogle steder var der huller i parket/laminat gulvet. Rengøring og udskiftning af håndklæder var superfin.
Poolen var ren, men med slidte/revnede kanter og terrassebelægning.
Personalet i baren (en enkelt aften) var inkompetent. “Bartenderen” forsøgte at mikse en drink, som indeholder frosne bær, uden bær.
Selv om vi viste ham opskriften, fastholdt han, at drinken var korrekt lavet … helt latterligt. Spild af penge.
Personalet i receptionen var imødekommende og hjælpsomme.
Hotellet ligger super godt ved en fantastisk og lækker strand med hvid sand og uden sten i vandet.
Der er livreddere ved stranden i dagtimerne. Liggestole er dyre at bruge. 19 euro pr. dag for to liggestole.

I visited hear in June / July 2023 h/board , breakfast was always something to eat eggs sausage beans toast, or make yourself a toastie 🤷♀️ Coffee is loverly , evening meal well sorry I don’t no what all moaning about, we’re in a 3 star hotel do you get salmon cod chicken crispy duck oh come on guys , we had something there for your tea each nite it’s not the ritz , and I’d like to mention our cleaner Vivian was loverly so polite and they work so hard, she even came out to me after check out looking for me as I had left my headband in the bathroom the staff do the best they can it’s not there fault it needs a re fresh lick of paint, our room was spotless no cockroaches, & naturally if they did arrive was spray under the sink , I’d stay again no prob more than happy fir what we paid , note to hotel owner tho the pool needs to be more shallow gradual near the steps there is no in between depth 👍 parents pls note no inflatables allowed in pool noodles only!
Overpriced more like a 2/3 star
Be Live Experience - Lanzarote- Lanzarote Beach. This hotel portrays itself as a luxurious hotel. We paid for the adult package in an executive sea view room. Photos look great on their website. In reality the rooms are tired with much maintenance required, bits coming off wardrobes, units. Beds had seen better days with springs coming through. Towels were thin and threadbare, not what we expected for the cost. Adult package not worth it, you have a dark section of the Buffett restaurant which is like a cage. You are also meant to have a choice of pillows and scents, none of this was mentioned at check in so really not sure what this is about as the pillows in the room are basic, no choices and were very low so we had to ask for extra. We had no gowns in our room and to ask for them, even these were threadbare. The restaurants are poor with food obviously prepared and kept warm, they came out virtually as our order was placed. We were in and out within 35 minutes on a 3 course meal. No policing on sun beds so you find that guests are putting their towels out from 5am and then not using them until lunchtime. As there is only one pool with a limited area around it this causes an issue getting a sun bed if you’re prepared to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve your sun bed. There is another pool but pool wouldn’t be a correct description. It is more like a foot pool or small splash pool for kids. Food in the buffet in our opinion was poor, we have been to many all inclusive hotels and this does not rate very well against them. We ended up eating out 5 times in a 7 night stay. I guess it depends what you are used to and what expectations you have. If the quality is not important but quantity is then this hotel will be fine for you. Overall the hotel is extremely tired and needs a major refurb. On a plus point the staff are extremely friendly and cannot do enough for you. I believe this is a chain of hotels but if this hotel is a reflection of the brand we will avoid them in future.

It’s an absolute dump. Pool area and rooms in need of refurb.
