Finally Got Paid After Years – All Thanks to Benjamin Chaise & Associates

Working with Benjamin Chaise & Associates was one of the best decisions we made when it came to collecting on a long-overdue debt. We’re a small business based in the U.S., and we were trying to collect from a large company in Canada—a company that does over $100 million a year in business but has a history of taking advantage of smaller vendors like us.

For years, we tried everything to get paid our $189,000 I personally called them nonstop. My boss did too. We went back and forth, got excuses, delays, and total radio silence. Eventually, we even hired an attorney in Vancouver, thinking that maybe having someone local would help. We paid $3,000 just for them to look at the case and send a demand letter. That got us nowhere.

At that point, we were frustrated, discouraged, and honestly, just tired of chasing money we had already earned. Then we found Benjamin Chaise & Associates. From the first call, they were responsive, professional, and most importantly—they understood exactly what we were dealing with. They didn’t make big promises, but they were confident, and that gave us hope.

Once they took over, they got to work quickly. Communication was solid throughout the entire process—they kept us in the loop, and pushed them on our behalf. And the best part? They got us paid in just a couple of months. After years of getting nowhere, that felt incredible.

It’s hard to put into words the relief we felt after this was resolved. We were ready to walk away and take the loss, but Benjamin Chaise turned it around. I only wish we had contacted them sooner—it would’ve saved us a lot of time, money, and stress.

Benjamin Chaise Delivered Where Others Failed

When Robert from Benjamin Chaise offered us their collection services, he was respectful, direct, and made the process simple. They weren’t pushy at all and offered options that actually worked for me.

We’ve tried other collection agencies in the past, but most of them were too aggressive. The Benjamin Chaise team, on the other hand, must have been assertive but not overly aggressive, because after signing up, the debtor actually called me, apologized for not paying for over 5 years, and I referred him back to Benjamin Chaise to complete the payment.
I’ve since received my 77% portion. I highly recommend!

Benjamin Chaise & Associates is a top-tier company with exceptional customer service. We had a high-profile client who stopped paying unexpectedly. After several years of trying to resolve the issue through calls and emails, we decided to reach out to a debt collector. We were fortunate to find Benjamin Chaise. From start to finish, the team was a pleasure to work with. They took the time to address all our questions and concerns thoroughly. Most impressively, we received payment from our former client within just a couple of weeks—far sooner than we anticipated. The process was straightforward, and this company truly excels at what they do. We highly recommend their services!

Unprofessional

Our company hired Benjamin, Chaise & Assoc. to assist with collecting a past due invoice over 70k. This customer of ours is under investigation due to multiple nonpayment dispute from other companies as well. From the moment we signed the contract we were immediately handled with disregard. We had to continuously reach out for updates and general follow up information and when we did, we were treated as if we were not a client, but more like a nuisance to Benjamin, Chaise & Assoc. When we called to inquire a rate that we unexpectedly were charged, Jennifer Williams, in the accounting department became very combative and condescending. We tried to explain that we hired them to provide a service and now that we have questions we're being treated rudely. She stated she senses an attitude she doesn't like and continued making disparaging comments such as, "Our company should be grateful for the partial payment they were able to collect", "She doesn't have any superior to transfer our us to", "She doesn't have to listen to what we have to say because she doesn't work for us and we don't sign her checks, and we should've read our contract," and, "Our company should be grateful they collected payment when we couldn't". This type of customer service is beyond unprofessional. Jennifer then said she'll send a complaint by email. When I asked to who she refused to reveal who, and when I asked who was her superior that she reports to so we can speak to them, she stated she doesn't have anyone above her and disconnected the call. I regret recommending a customer of mine to them for collection assistance, but I will never recommend them to anyone, especially a mom-and-pop shop seeing how Jennifer blatantly looked down on small business owners by stating BCA isn't a mom-and-pop shop condescendingly disregarding our company and others.
