Everything (literally everything) was absolutely amazing. For such an adventure trip* to have everything go smoothly, be absolutely awesome and the itinerary be so well thought through is quite a tall order - but you did it! (*We visited Norway - Bergen to Tromso, on Havila Capella, then flights to Oslo to stay there)

We will definitely return to Best Served in the future and have already recommended you to family and friends.

Gave us an excellent itiniary, just what we wanted on our cruise on Norwegian Fjords etc. Very knowledgeable and helpful and at a very competitive price.

The itinerary and location and choice of hotels was excellent (great breakfasts at the Thon hotels). The pre booked tickets etc made for a stress free break.

Just back from all round Havila Coastal Express trip - service before trip was very good. The trip itself involved 2 nights stay at Opus XVI hotel in Bergen which was superb. All of the transport and connections were first class.

We have just returned from an amazing trip to Tromso and Lyngen Lodge organised by the wonderful Becky at Best Served Scandinavia who was incredibly knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. Two days at the Clarion Edge hotel in Tromso allowed us time to explore this small but lively city. Lyngen Lodge is an amazing boutique lodge run with obvious passion by the owners Graham and Veronica for whom nothing is too much trouble. Dog-sledding, snow-mobiling, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing and sea safari on their own boat will keep you busy during the day with beautifully prepared fresh food waiting for you in the evening. To top it off we were lucky enough to see the Northern lights on three nights. Highly recommended.

We gave a list of our dream Scandinavian adventure to Lynn at Best Served Scandinavia, and she suggested several alternate destinations in Sweden and Norway which would give my and my twelve year old son the chance to do everything. We chose Tromso and opted for a Northern Lights hunt, reindeer and husky sledging. We went out into the wilderness with Dan on the first night and saw the Northern Lights in the wilderness and got some fantastic photos, thanks to his help. We were also fortunate enough to have the Northern Lights right outside the hotel on subsequent nights. Husky tobogganing was also a highlight. We both got to drive a team of huskies through a magical winterland in the sunshine. Tromso was a great base for us. We enjoyed exploring and visiting the bearded seals in Polaria. Our hotel base (Hotel Aurora) on the docks gave us a wonderful view over the mountains and of the Arctic Cathedral. Buffet breakfasts and dinners were included, although we did decide to sample local food on some nights. This is one of the best holidays we have ever had!

I had a 4 day trip trip to Ivalo in Finland on my own, and having been ill before I arrived, I was delighted it lived up to all my expectations. I stayed at the Wilderness Hotel Nangu which is on its own by a frozen lake, very quiet and lovely - the scenery was breathtaking. Great facilities, good food, lovely staff and friendly other residents. I saw the Northern Lights 3 nights in a row which were spectacular. I did snow mobiling, saw the reindeer and did husky sledging, which unfortunately was a bit disappointing but that was because the sledges in front were going too slow. It was very cold - 30 deg C but if you are wrapped up you don't notice the cold. I would thoroughly recommend this once in a lifetime experience, one to tick off my bucket list. All my friends are jealous of my photos and now want to go too.

Rachel at Best Served Scandinavia organised an amazing surprise birthday trip for my wife. I had never been to Sweden before so I was completely unaware of where we should go and what experiences we should have.
We had a trip to the Ice Hotel (a night in an ice room is a must) in the north then after a few days we caught a train to the south where we stayed at the Treehotel which is amazing with different unique tree houses.
Rachel organised transfers , train tickets and flights which meant the holiday was seamless.

Best Served Scandinavia were so helpful from beginning to end and we can not speak highly enough of the service they provided. We had a challengjng end to our trip with our flight home veing cancelled but the team were faultess in their support, guidance and advice. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Charlie contacted me to discuss requirements, then put an Itinerary together for us. I’m sure we paid more but it was good to have everything arranged for us. I would certainly recommend them to friends

A friend recently booked via a similar company and when they had an issue it showed the benefit of having a 'private' agent. So we decided to try Best Served Scandinavia to book a Tromso experience. From start to finish Lynn was brilliant. She recommended and booked everything. I am well aware we paid extra, especially for the excursions but the peace of mind by shifting responsibility was worth the difference. At the airport our first flight was delayed due to an emergency with another airline and as such the delay meant we would miss our connecting flight and we would have been overnighted and miss our first day of excursions. A quick call to Lynn and all was sorted, she got us on a different flight, changed the pick-up driver and alerted the hotel to a late arrival. I will certainly be using Lynn and BSS again - absolutely.

Superb from start to finish talked through what we wanted and pulled together several options which we finalised. It was our 25 th wedding anniversary bucket list holiday. They delt with all the bookings and timings, so we just had to turn up and travel!

We went to Tromso for my wife’s birthday. She had never seen the Northern Lights and wanted this for her birthday. Rachel at Best Served Scandinavia gave us an itinerary to our requirements with the Northern Lights at the centre.
All flights, transfers and accommodation met our expectations. A delayed flight meant a rush to make our connection. Norwegian were great and waited for us.
The activities arranged by Rachel were excellent. We saw the Northern Lights, twice, and the guides were superb. Dog Sledding exceeded expectations. The weather was perfect that day, but was overcast for the day we took the cable car to the top of the mountain.
Will use Best Served Scandinavia again.

Rachel was very professional and patient in giving me a few different itinerary options when undecided where to go in Norway. The hotel and excursions in Alta were enjoyable, especially the Husky Mushing experience and would consider returning in the winter to do Husky Sledding with the same company. Oslo is a beautiful city, the hotel again excellent and it was easy to plan my own trips when there. Was a little disappointed with the only preplanned excursion, the Oslo fjord cruise, primarily because I thought it would be more in nature and the mountains (not the city) but that was my ignorance as those are much further west and forlonger. Would recommend using this company.

This is the second time I’ve used Best Served Scandinavia and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. They listen to what you want then put together the perfect package. Comms are great and nothing’s too much trouble.

Becky at BSS arranged my first cruise, excursions and flights with attention to detail. She provided costs for a couple of options allowing me to make an informed decision. She was very responsive to any queries, providing added details, quickly and demonstrating good knowledge.
Highly recommended, I would use again.

Helpful and professional service from Best Served Scandinavia. They took on board my personal requests (e.g. I wanted the travel documents emailed not sent by post). Hotel accommodation was of a high standard, with amazing breakfasts. A really great itinerary covering five locations in eight days. I did not want to come home and am still missing Norway.

My only suggestion is that the Norway by rail trip could add an extra day in Oslo (one full day is not enough to explore this exciting city). Another night in Andalsnes might also be an option (fantastic sauna at the hotel and lots of walking options which sadly I didn't get enough time for). Also, as someone else mentioned earlier, the bus connection at Voss was a bit chaotic and the bus destination was not clear (though I appreciate this is probably outside your control).

However overall I am very happy with Best Served Scandinavia.

Would not have considered staying in the Kvikness Hotel in Balestrand which was superb, art gallery/historic hotel with stunning views and excellent food. It was the highlight of the holidayGo to t
