Completely satisfied customer.

Having read some of the negative reviews, I ordered with some trepidation online, however I have to say that I was completely satisfied with our delivery of 60 tiles with no damage occurring in transit from Ireland. A bonus was their Eco friendly packaging reusing shredded cardboard and plastic which did the job well. I would use this company again.

I have dealt with many different…

I have dealt with many different members of staff on occasion and have always found them to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I would not buy my tiles or adhesive/grout anywhere else. There is always a great selection of high quality tiles to choose from at a competitive price.

Avoid this company they are big fraud

This is a joke of a company and looks like I am not the only one that has suffered spent 2.5k on tiles and when tiles arrived damaged they don’t want to take any responsibility. If you don’t pack something correctly obviously they will be damaged. Even after showing loads of evidence of damaged tiles they don’t want to take any responsibility avoid this company not worth the headache and the owner is so rude it’s unbelievable

These tiles were properly packed on a pallet as per normal with tiles. We did explain to you when ordering the tiles that there would be a chance of damage and we said we would not send them unless you made an allowance for this. You agreed and we sent them, we also without telling you sent 3 extra boxes FOC. You sent us some photos the day after your delivery showing some damage and then claimed that 28 boxes were damaged and un usable. There was no such evidence in your photos. You said that you needed all 28 boxes to finish the project and had to go else ware to buy them so wanted a refund for 28 boxes. So you wanted us to refund you for the 3 boxes we sent free ? sorry but I did not believe you, I believe you were trying to take advantage of us this is the reason we stopper replying to you.

Appalling

Appalling. Charge £13 delivery to throw tiles they themselves describe as fragile into an inadequate box, then when damage is reported, their response is that they are supposed to be like that.

Sales lack of knowledge

DO NOT TRUST ON SALES TEAM.
I requested help from the sales team via e-mail about the quantity needed. Provided detailed measurements based on the project done by the architect. First, I requested help to fit the kitchen backsplash, then after a couple of days I requested help to fit the bathroom, since the shipping is really expensive I placed one single order.
The e-mail response from the team mentioned that the quantity would consider the % waste. So I fully trusted on them as I'm not a professional and for obvious reason I got in contact with a PROFESSIONAL. However, they got it all wrong and I do not have enough tiles to fit any of the rooms.
I reach out the company to AT LEAST get a coupon for free shipping but they refused to help.
DO NOT TRUST ON SALES TEAM.

Hi GabrielaI have reviewed your emails. You sent on your plans, you had the area that was required clearly printed on them in msq. We calculated the amount of tiles that was required for the area that was specified on your plan and then added 10% for waste; this is the standard allowance. We did not calculate the subway tiles, only the chevron. Our calculation was correct so the mistake must have been on the plan you sent, or your tiler wasted more than normal. We do not offer free shipping especially when we receive threats of spreading the word online

Ridiculous delivery charge for samples

Nice selection of tiles and the option to have up to 5 free samples but when you go to checkout there is a £9 delivery fee! I emailed as I thought surely this cannot be correct but it is, they will charge £9 for 2 tiles worth 70p and would not change their delivery method even though I asked. This is a shame as I would have liked to have seen the tiles but I will be going elsewhere, this seems ridiculous

I am sorry that you feel the delivery charge is high for samples we only pass on the parcel companies charge we do not factor in the time it takes to pick and pack these sample orders. Do you think we could profit from sending samples for 9£ ? we lose money on this process and if we sent all samples for less we would not be in business

Very disappointing poor & hostile customer service

Very poor & hostile customer service. The online shop has a good range of tiles in a relatively good price. However, customer service is very poor and is driven by the owner of the company. A number of tiles arrived broken. Actually, I wonder if they send broken tiles; one box was completely damaged, with the tiles exposed! How could this happen en route while the other boxes were intact (and why should I pay for it?). The broken tiles were 5% of my order, which is more than the 1-2% the shop state as acceptable and which I had calculated as an extra in my order. I followed the terms and conditions regarding checking my order and sending my request within a specific time frame. The terms state:
[...] 3.On a rare occasion we get some small damage aprox 1 to 2% . We can not compensate for these small quantities of breakage these can mostly be used as cuts, we request that the customer orders sufficient quantities to allow for this.
4. GLS/Parcelforce: If there is any damage please sign your name and state “damages visible”, then sign and accept the delivery. You should then notify us within 12 hours us by email having checked all the goods. Comprehensive photograph evidence will be needed by email we will then without quibble send replacement goods. After the 12 hour time no other claims can be entertained.
5. TPN: If there is substantial damage tell the driver to take the pallet back to us, we will repack the pallet and send it to you. Please be reasonable, 1 to 5 tiles broken on a pallet is not substantial damage. If a pallet is refused because of a small amount of damage the customer will be charged for delivery to them and delivery back to us. If there are a small amount of breakages we will refund the cost of the tile if they can not be used as cuts. Please take this into account when ordering and allow a percentage over for potential small breakages when ordering. If the pallet is signed for then we can not claim against TPN.[...]

I was not informed regarding the way my order was shipped beforehand, and the name of the company was not obvious anywhere when I received the order. The delivery notice mentions DACHSER and Palletline PLC, not GLS, not parcelforce and not TPN. The day before, I received a phone call informing me about the delivery, but they conveniently forgot to mention the delivery company and that I should follow term 5 and not 4!! I followed the above under paragraph 4 of the terms and conditions. I had the delivery person waiting 20 minutes while I checked all tiles one-by-one. I took photographs, I wrote a small essay on the delivery invoice as a proof, I sent an email with all the evidence taking care that I follow the terms. But still, the owner refused to refund me. They claim now that I should have returned the pallet. I am not sure why they say I should have followed term 5 when the delivery invoice does not mention TPN as the delivery company. I also do not understand the fact that I followed term 4 is not good enough for the owner of the company. Well, maybe they should have informed me about the way the would deliver the order in advance and highlight which one of their contradictory terms apply. I wonder why they then told me that I should return the broken tiles for a refund, which I was happy to do but they did not provide information regarding the return process of the broken tiles (they did not specify how I should send them back and they did not reply verifying that they will refund the return shipping fees). And I have emailed multiple times. This is very poor customer service and the whole experience has been hostile. We could not complete our project because of their attitude. I was happy initially that I found this online shop. But after everything, I am very disappointed and would not recommend. This kind of transactions should be smooth so customers can complete their projects and return. I don't recommend this shop, particularly because it was the owner that was so unhelpful and ignored me as their customer. What I would say is that, if the owner is so proud of their service, I hope they get this type of behaviour next time they need a doctor "Sorry, you should have done 5 not 4 and now we cannot help you". In any case, it is a disgrace to refuse private customers a refund of 5£ or not offer to replace the broken tiles (these are products customers pay for but they do not get). It is also dishonest to have confusing terms and conditions that they can use as they see fit. Clients follow one term and they can be refused their refund because the owner can claim that the customer should have followed another term. In any case, I would not recommend best tiles because the tiles maybe good but the attitude and service are the worst I have experienced in the last 3 years that I have been dealing with making a house, with the exception of purchasing it.

Due to the fact that tiles are fragile items the procedure we ask customers on our invoices and in many other places to adhere to is if there is significant damage then refuse the pallet and send it back to us. We can then claim against our shipper and send out a new pallet. You did not do this. We did respond to your initial email and highlight the procedure once again. I am sorry if we did not respond to your emails after that.

I received a faulty order and have no recourse

I received a faulty order (the main tiles were wrong and many broken) but the delivery truck drove away even though I did not sign for the order. The company took 3 weeks to deliver and I had to use other tiles for the job, yet they are refusing a refund. They sent replacement tiles without informing me which I cannot use and have not received. They refuse to pay for the return of a late and incorrect order
The quality is poor and customer service is ervice aggressive and unlawful according to the Consumer Protection Act which requires the free return of a faulty ordee. Avoid like the plague or you will be stuck with poor tiles and no recourse.

We did send replacement tiles as soon as you highlighted the error, you then decided that you did not want the tiles at all. You will find that with any company if you change your mind and do not want the product you must return it and then get a refund. This is what we have offered
