nice pants - if you can get them
Ok this is long but I’m not going to leave anything out so you get a full picture.
I had purchased 1 pair of pants from Betabrand 3 or 4 years ago, they were great but cost wise not in my budget so I’m not a frequent customer.
Was excited for the cyber Monday sale and purchased 2 pairs of their 7 pocket denim pants (2 different pant lengths).
Cyber Monday was December 1st. I received an email December 8th that one pair was shipped and should be arriving December 12th – 16th. On December 12th I received an email that the other pair was being cancelled and the cost was refunded. I filled out their online contact form because the cost of duties was not refunded only the cost of the pants. I received an automated reply that I would be contacted in 24-48 hours. December 16th, I checked the tracking for the pair of pants shipped and it had the message from the courier that the label had been created but it had not yet been given to them. so, I again filled out the online contact form. Same automated reply.
Trying to keep this short after waiting two days after the second form submitted, I emailed the auto reply email address outlining that I had not received follow up from either contact. I received a form reply with a list of possible problems and resolutions. Mine was not listed. I waited a week – and then emailed again outlining both complaints. I finally received an email back addressing the problems with my order and they would look into it. A few emails back and forth as I was told the item had been shipped but was returned to them with an issue (tracking says otherwise) and was in the warehouse. That the refund “will be adjusted based on the new shipment’s tax/duties. Any difference that needs to be funded to you will be credited back to your account”. Just NO. I emailed back arguing that they can’t charge me additional shipping to send the package a second time. At the time of check out I agreed to pay a specific amount for shipping and I am not agreeing to any additional costs. That if there was going to be a second charge for shipping I wanted to cancel the order completely.
By now it’s January 1st! and I receive an email that the reason for the delay in refunding the tax / duties is because its handled by a third party. They are waiting to find out if I will get a full refund or partial from Passport. They also say I should have a new tracking number by tomorrow for the pair of pants to be shipped. And as an apology and gratitude for my patience if I create an account they will give me 400 loyalty points. I did not immediately create an account because I was prepared to contact my CC and dispute the charge.
January 7th comes and I do not receive updated tracking or a refund so I contact my CC and dispute the charge. next day I get a refund for the duties/taxes (full amount). January 22nd I received a package from UPS (not the original carrier). At no time did I receive any contact that they were being shipped. No tracking number and no email to expect it. It contained one pair of pants. The correct type but incorrect colour. At this point I’m done with the whole thing. I contacted my credit card to cancel the dispute because I do have something even if its not the right ones. Made an account to see if Betabrand would make good on their promise of loyalty points but checking it on February 23rd there’s only the 50 I earned from the purchase.
So I am not encouraging anyone to shop with the site. The pants are good quality but based on my experience you’re lucky if you get them. I had to contact my CC company for them to finally take the issue seriously and send my purchased item.
Refund/Exchange
I returned my Christmas present to exchange for another color and size. They didn’t respond to the return as stated in website with refund. I emailed them through their refund contact, received an automated email. They do not have a phone number to call. It has been a week without response now to three emails. I am having my husband contact his credit card company for the refund. Be aware of this company seems shady. My first and last interaction with them.
No customer service AT ALL
This company used to be great and provided good customer service. Quality of merch is still good, but customer service is quite literally nonexistent. I have bought so much from them that I am in the top tier for their rewards program which means I am supposed to get free shipping at $50. That hasn’t happened in over a year now. And no way to talk to a real person from their company at all. It’s ridiculous.
Defective…
I ordered 2 pairs of pants and accidentally shrunk a pair. I liked them so much I ordered a replacement pair. I've worn them a few times and realized the last time that the right pants leg is 2" shorter than the left. I've reached out to their customer service email, their contact us section on their website, AND left a review on their site and have gotten no response. I won't be buying anything from them again.
The pants are great customer service not so much
The pants are great. Deep pockets gear fabric fabulous fit. I ordered a top and it didn't come and the customer service is really poor. only by email and don't solve the problem. I ordered it and they didn't send it.

Found them online and went with one pair of Journey pants. Now I have different styles of pants and shirts and now blazers. I love the quality fabric. Sale items are final sales, but still great quality. I’m sorry others have had issues with shipping.
Betabrand is has an outrageously bad policy
Betabrand is outrageous. I bought a pair of the boyfriend jeans. Nowhere in the description does it say they have a gaping hole in them . The picture is misrepresented, it shows blemishes but not a gaping hole. I reached out because they don't refund shipping and charge a restocking fee. I asked for a refund in entirety. They are waving the restock fee but not the shipping charge. I am angry that I am being penalized for buying a product that was not as advertised. I will never buy from this brand again. I hope the shipping fee was worth it to them to lose a customer.
Customer Service is zero
Something happened with this company. My shipment took over a month to arrive. They are having sale after sale but there is a delay on shipping product. I’m currently in the process of returning pants. They’re asking me to take photos and measure the pants. Horrible customer service.

I ordered a couple times from them
Weill not give full refunds. I ordered one time from them. Horrible customer service and timely shipping. All but one pair didn't retain their fit and/or faded out even separate attention to delicates and hang drying . The skirt is horrible. Super heavy, frumpy looking. I decided to give it one more go. I placed an order in April. I still have not received, today was my second contact with customer service. They told me the order was stalled due to one of the items I ordered no longer is available. I didn't receive any notice of that. I was also told I couldn't get a refund on a new card due to needing to replace my old one. I cancelled the order. She stated there was no longer a guarantee of a refund. What!! I plan to go home and discard any items I have. I don't want to even passively support such a company with horrible quality, customer service. I have a feeling they are robbing Peter to pay Paul and that is why the orders are so delayed. Update just received a refund, it was a fraction of the original amount. I went back on the chat. I was told I did not ask to cancel the whole order. I stated I had and what was the partial refund for? He stated the pants that were removed because they were no longer available. I was then told by him that I delayed the order because I didn't remove them. The first lady told me it was delayed because they removed them once they didn't have them any more. After a lengthy chat he said he would send a full refund over to the warehouse and to me. And guess what the amount is still for about a third of what I paid. Absolutely do not order anything from them.
Don’t buy, they can’t fulfill and Customer Service is terrible
Service is terrible, they don’t ship their product and hold on to your money. No response to email only chat. I wouldn’t buy from them again.
Can't timely deliver
After successful purchases in the past, Betabrand does not seem to be able to deliver its products even after several weeks. I guess they hope the customers forget they ordered. On a positive note, if you do remember and ask for a refund, you get that promptly.

I have purchased Betabrand pants via their website let the buyer beware experience
I have purchased Betabrand pants with success in the past. However, this time they delivery was very slow. I was purchasing denim and the pants arrived distressed (holes, fraying) which is preferred by some. However, nowhere in the description, does it mention the style is distressed and is referred to as "Polished casual style" which it is not. Their website does not have captions for visual readers over the photographs of the clothing, so if you have visual problems and don't notice the tears and fraying (.1mm in size in the photograph) let the buyer beware. They won't exchange for the other color-same style that is not distressed. Trying to return, they say they deduct $7, but in the process it became $16.20. Repeated attempts to contact customer service are returned with their return policy copy and pasted into the email and no answer to why it is 9.20 more than $7. Then sent an email that the claim had been closed. Clearly AI/chat bots can't do the work of people and BetaBrand doesn't care about the customer experience.
Pants still not shipped after 4 months
Ordered pants in November, still not received in March. Every time I reached out they gave me excuses about manufacturing issues. I did get a refund, but it seems like a shady business model, particularly when so many other reviewers had the same experience. I will not purchase from this company again, which is a shame because I liked the pants.
Service has gone way downhill
Service has gone way downhill. I ordered several sale items only to have them not be shipped. Customer service then did not want to refund my money at first. It took several emails to get a refund. I thought it might just be a fluke and my other experiences had been okay so I placed another order recently. It's been a MONTH and it hasn't shipped. I don't know if they are selling stock they don't actually have on hand or what but taking a month and items still aren't shipped is poor business. I can't recommend them at all. Such a shame because their denim is great--if you can ever manage to get it delivered.

I ordered two pair of jeans. They dont fit and when I try to return FINAL SALE. I am out over $100. I always read reviews but unfortunately, I read the reviews on their website. Duh! All wonderful. Dont buy from them.

Disgusting way to run a business
I ordered 3 pants, totalling over $150, in June 2022. It's now December 2023 and nothing. I reached out and their answer....they couldn't guarantee an ETA when I would recieved my stuff. I've never been given updates on my order. They just took my money. I demanded a refund and it "must be approved" first. This is a disgusting way to run a business. Do not order from Betabrand!!
They have no phone number
They have no phone number. I have emailed back and forth with them and they are not very accommodating. They say they don't have a phone line. They don't seem interested in talking to their customers!

The cut and fabric is fantastic
I have been ordering from them for years now.
But yes you need to be patient with the service with slow delivery due to low stocks apparently
