Better Bed Company Avis 

From the clear website, to fabulous customer service during a phone conversation which was supportive, friendly with no hard sell I was given great advice. The bed itself is just what I needed and all items delivered within 4 days of ordering.

Really impressive customer service from Lee - quick and clear responses and really helpful. We were deciding whether to go with John Lewis or Better Bed Company and the personal customer service from Lee helped to tip the balance.

I am impressed. Made a phone call just before noon on Thursday and bed arrived by noon the next day. I would like to thank Lee for his warm and professional approach on the phone and reassurance that the bed would indeed arrive the next day and it did. Good price, good service, happy customer. Phoned them, spoke to Lee, done a deal, delivery confirmed, bed arrived. All great. Does what it says on the tin.

Encountered some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time with this company. Website states clearly "Free delivery on all orders" and in the delivery section "Before we go any further everything on our site comes with free delivery."

Ordered a bed on Thursday, received a phone call on Friday saying there was a £45 surcharge to deliver to my postcode. When I said this wasn't stated anywhere on the website was told "it only effects 5% of our customers. We don't sell a lot to Scotland. I'm not going to put there might be a surcharge on my website as it will cost me sales".

I've no problem with there being a surcharge for delivery to some areas (although I've never experienced it in my area before as I'm not in the Highlands and islands), but do have a problem when the website says free delivery with no mention anywhere of possible surcharges for some areas.

As I said to you on the phone it should say on your website that some postcodes may be subject to a delivery surcharge for some items. You might not care enough about 5% of your customers to make that clear, but it would save you wasting customers' time and be much better customer service. Or at least don't advertise as "free delivery on all orders" if you can not provide that service on all orders.

Very happy with the service I received. I emailed to enquire about how long delivery would be very quick at getting back to me and was able to choose a delivery day that suited me. Lee was very helpful.

Excellent service all round. Next day delivery (you can opt for a different day) and a guy called Lee rang to confirm all the details with me and book the delivery in.

Quality product, well packaged.. all good, happy!

Everything was spot on no faults

I don’t usually leave reviews but credit where it is due. Flawless from start to finish ordered on the Wednesday by Friday it’s been delivered and put up well done guys!

Had an absolute nightmare with this order... even the Better Bed Company said it was probably the worst case they've ever encountered (not that that made us feel any better?!). 3 stars as the bed is actually very nice, and Lee (customer service / company owner) did try to be helpful. But the whole experience was an utter fiasco, from beginning to end. Including giving us incorrect measurements, delivering damaged items, delay in delivering the replacement items, piss-poor communications as to what was happening and when (with the exception of Lee; although he was ultimately ineffective), the replacement items being the wrong size, and point-blank refusal to help us rectify their mistakes (packaging up, dismantling and putting together, etc). So overall, a really really unpleasant buying experience.

But as I say, at least the bed is nice!

Amazing company. I ordered my bed wednesday night, arrived Friday morning. Then they telephoned me to confirm my order. No delivery charges. I ordered a Kaydian otterman bed. The bed is stunning, it's transformed my room. It looks expensive and the craftsmanship is first class, made of wood, not MDF. The material is luxurious and high end, with attention to detail. I am so pleased. The bed was worth every penny. 10/10 for the Kaydian bed and 10/10 for the better bed company. A first class no hassle company with excellent communication. Just phone them and they pick up the phone. I am so happy, thank you so much.

Delivery on the way 1 stop away. So emptied room ready. 30 mins to go they cancelled the delivery saying it was due to a medical emergency.
We now have to put everything back out of the garage back to the bedroom. This may just be a problem with Byeway Logistics the delivery company. We now have no idea when we will get our bed

It never.
Bed arrived on the Monday but with box damaged and a scratch on the headboard. The delivery company said it was damaged when they picked it up but where told to deliver anyway.
I suspect they noticed the damage on first delivery and made the medical emergency excuse to take it back to the factory.
Better beds company service thou did deal with the problem very quickly and offered a discount or headboard replacement. We took the discount which was paid in 3 days. The beds okay but did take me 6 hours to build on my own.

Second mattress bought from The Better Bed Company, this time for my elderly aunt.
As before excellent communication all the way through, asked for later delivery if possible, so I could be there to receive it, everything worked brilliantly, in time slot, very pleased. Highly recommend.

Great communication and very fast delivery (next day) product seems sound.

Allowed to order on the website. Next day delivery if placed before 13:00. Chased the next morning about the delivery time to find out it’s out of stock. No other like for like available. Why was I allowed to order!? Meh.

Great communication from Lee at the Better Bed Company. He quickly responded to messages and notified myself about delivery date and time frame. Would highly recommend.

Great product (Kaylex mattress) at excellent price efficiently delivered ( for free!)

Would not buy from this company again - damaged bed, didn’t arrive when said & when it did only box 1 of 2 came with the 2nd box a week later even though I had cancelled my order. I had to do lots of chasing. You also don’t get a refund until the box is on the lorry even though I emailed photos of the damage. The bed is also not coming from Better Bed Company it’s from another supplier. Lee was very helpful over the phone though but still wouldn’t buy from them again as clearly they don’t check the beds before dispatch.
