Helped with delivery issues
I ordered the 5-100lbs set of Hex Dumbbells with 2 racks. A 3rd party freight delivery company delivered only 2 pallets with 2 weight racks & 5-75lbs dumbbell set but was missing the 80-100lbs. James from Better Body customer service contacted me the same day I notified them about the missing sets of dumbbells. He was able to check the tracking of the package & contacted the 3rd party delivery services & was able to locate the 3rd missing package & prioritized the missing pallet. Less than 3 days (over the weekend) it came on Monday morning. He was very transparent & emailed me the messages he had with the delivery company & updated me in the entire process. He was also very patient & professional. If I could give a 6 or 7 star for the customer service I would. Thank you James and thank you Better Body.

Despite the $6K spent, asked extra $12 shipping because they messed up
I have ordered things over $6K from them, and then I placed an order for something which was about $40 +$10 shipping. They reached out to me later after a few days that they had a hiccup and will need to charge me $12 more for shipping. Shows how much they don't care about their customer's experience and not own their own mistakes rather push it down to the customer.
Yeah, $20 shipping for a $40 item doesn't sound right. I won't be ordering from them anymore. :)

I wanted to support local. This is not local, and the experience was extremely misleading and scam-like.
Key facts:
-Website claims 1–4 day delivery and same-day shipping for orders placed before 12pm.
-After ordering, I waited 4 days with no tracking and no communication.
-Phones are not answered. Email only.
-After I followed up, I was told the warehouse would ship “ASAP.” Nothing happened.
-Another full week passed, still no tracking.
At that point I checked BBB and Trustpilot and found many reviews describing the exact same experience. This is not a one-off.
Then the real issue surfaced:
-They admitted they did NOT have the product in stock.
-My credit card had already been charged $2,700.
-They said the product would not be available for 2–3 months.
-They then demanded an additional $150 in shipping after the fact.
When I asked to cancel:
-They pushed a 120% “gift card” instead of a refund.
-When I insisted on a refund, I was told it could take up to two more weeks because refunds are “processed in order received.”
This company appears to operate as a drop-shipper while advertising itself as Canadian-made and shipping from Calgary. That is not true.
They took my money knowing they did not have the product and would not for months, then attempted to upsell shipping and delay the refund.
Do not be fooled by the website or the positive reviews. Learn from my mistake and do NOT buy from this company.

Beware! Good luck getting your order
I placed my order during the holiday sales and was promptly charged. For almost two weeks, I received no updates. After two inquiries about the order’s status, they finally responded, stating that they don’t have the product I ordered. Now that the holiday sales are over, I’m left with money out of pocket, and they’re supposed to refund it “within two weeks.” This is not a typical business practice.

Theft and Excuses
After paying more than $3,000 on equipment, they refused to send my order. After 3 weeks of fighting and then refusing to send what was already paid for and after confirming that they had received the money, I was forced to cancel the order and order from a real fitness store. They told me it would take 2 weeks to refund my order, and then they took more than a month to refund. Stay away from this company.

Complete Scam. They take your money, but can't deliver
This place is a joke. When I placed my order it said it would be delivered in two weeks. After two months of delays and contact with customer service, it appeared that I was never going to receive the equipment. So I requested a refund which they said I'll receive in two weeks. It's been 6 weeks and still no refund issued. I'm now forced to file a claim with my credit card.
This place is great taking orders, but can't fufill them. Complete scam and would not recommend to anyone.

So happy with the adjustable dumbbells; the stand quality is not as great but still OK
I am very happy with the adjustable dumbbells. The quality is excellent. The delivery of the stand was late and I had some minor issues putting it together. That said, they responded to my issues quickly and everything was resolved.

The dumbbells and storage rack arrived on time and with no damage. The packing job was superb. There was a minor issue--a missing plastic cap--but the folks at Better Body were quick and courteous in sending the missing item. I was highly impressed by the quality of the product and the customer service.

Better Body's equipment and customer service are the best. I ordered a few of their products and will order more. The Better Body E-Z Curl Bar was not stocked due to popular demand
and I waited patiently. The staff members reached out to me and assured me that the product was on its way. I received my item at the time stated. I highly recommend this company for its quality products and excellent customer service.
