Update to the issue which occurred on the 7/10

So 2 weeks on (now the 20/10) and still no progress, my withdrawals of £123.50 have still not been paid to me, despite my repeated attempts to contact the relevant parts of this appalling company.

I strongly urge everybody reading this review NOT to deposit funds with this dishonest company.

The Issue described below occurred on the 7/10.

We're now at the 19/10 and still the funds that I am owed (£123.50) have not been paid to me. They acknowledge that this is the amount owed to me but seem unable to repay it ?!?! Even though every other company I deal with has no issues take payments from and making deposits to my card.

I am not somebody who typically uses trust pilot but the behaviour of this company, judging by my experience and looking at other reviews, is bordering on criminal and I'm not sure how they are retaining their licence to operate.

BEWARE if you are considering depositing, it is likely to be safer to go elsewhere.

Deposit of £100 taken twice from my account. Tried to resolve over live chat but they closed my account when I simply explained that taking a deposit twice had caused me a problem with a payment elsewhere. Since then another withdrawal of £23.50 and this £100 have not been returned to me. All subsequent contact attempts by email have been ignored.

I only bet small with them as they are sketchy but give free bets but its not worth it as their odds are very low and now they are not trustworthy. They have just robbed £25 which the bank confirmed as gone through but Betway say no. I've been betting for 25 years and never had problems like this, PLEASE bet somewhere else there are many better companies out there

withdrawals outstanding since the 3rd of September 2022 .Almost a month later, Guess what, they still haven't payed me out. The asked me for proof of address and I'd which was provided to them. I try to log back in to my account to find out it's been locked. A few days later I try again and it's magically unlocked and I check transactions to see they have now changed the dates on my 4 withdrawal requests and even have the audacity to show on the receipt that they have been payed out to me. This is a total fraud! Changing dates on receipts and making up new receipts to cover them. I last was able to log in, 1 withdrawal request is now showing for the total amount of the 4 withdrawals i first made..so the only 1 withdrawal that I never made and the dates are totally incorrect is still outstanding and they say the 4 withdrawals, I did actually make, have been payed to me. Which is not true. I struggle to get live chat. when I do, it's the same answer over and over again. "That they will escalate this matter "After, seeing all these complaints from different people with very similar issues. I've decided to make a stand against this shambles of a company. I will now take this matter further and use my contacts to make sure betway is Investigated. They pick and choose there customers, it's the customers they do not want they decide to treat this way. This appalling behaviour towards betway customers will no doubt has a serious effect on people's mental health and it's totally unacceptable that in 2022 they can get away with this.

So bad. Take your money and don’t pay you out. Beware everyone this is FRAUD/ROBBERS. Been on for weeks trying to get my money back. They then said I need to verify my account again. And I did send in all documents to no response and now they won’t accept my documents. Took thousands of euros on me and won’t pay out and now closing my account. Will go to the police

I have made many deposits with Betway and some of those deposits had been taken from my account but not loaded up on my betway funds.
These funds were taken from my bank balance and were shown as pending. Fortunately they went back into my account about 4/5 days later. This started happening quiet regular and i knew i would get the funds back. However, this has not been the case with my last visit to betway. I made many deposits tottaling £387 taken from my account showing “betway guernsey”I knew they owe me so I checked my betway transactions which show £277.
Ok so after a few days i looked at my bank account and there was no pending. Betway have taken £387 and i only played £277 of deposits.
Can you contact these people= NO
They make it impossible for you to get hold of them. I cannot recommend this company.

I was worried about my withdrawal due to reading all these reviews.

I found it hard to find live chat or I would of given a 5 star. My funds did take 3 days to come into my account but live chat explained that this was due to it being the weekend. Happy to say its now in with no hassle.

They did not pay what I won 4months ago!!! worst thing is that there is absolutely no chance to get in touch with soimeone. Robot isnt helpful and that is the only option. even customer support email is operated by robot and gets you nowhere just back to circle of not getting your answer. Avoid at all costs

My account is blocked . I have been writing emails for several weeks with no reply. I still have money in my account and I probably won t get back. THEY ARE SCAMMERS

This company need to be closed down. Just look at how many different betway companies there are loads. This is to spread the scam so that it's harder for the authorities to catch up with them. Betway are 100% scam betting site all geared towards taking every penny you've got. They only allow small withdrawals when they think that's it in their interest to pay. Their live chat are trained thieves liars who will ridicule you at every opportunity. Tell all family and friends to post it on every social media platform they can. Still holding my money having closed my account without any forewarning. Have taken the matter up via Resolver. I received an email saying my money was being returned....but you've guessed it.....it hasn't. More than GBP 200 of my own money stolen from me. Legal action being taken. Betway sent me an email congratulating me on my win so I went back to log in and my account has been locked they sent me a txt this morning saying they would be in contact and nothing my account has over 5000 in it from getting lucky get an email congratulating me with my account locked fraud it’s been forwarded to the gambling commission I have screen shots of the wins and what money is in there and what has been withdrawn needs to be resolved it’s the same scenario with all these reviews it’s poor

Username, theaforce. Been betting for over 20 years with pretty much all bookies and fully verified etc. Never bothered to ever write a review but just wanted to warn people with so much choice out there if you want to keep your sanity and enjoy your betting of racing and sport just choose someone else, been lied too on livechat and email about missing withdrawal and trust me quality of service is pretty bad. I know what ive been told is a lie and once you finally do get on livechat they cannot wait to get you off, betting should be an enjoyable experience and when you make a withdrawal you just want it in the bank in a decent timeframe.....anyway rant over, trust me punters go elsewhere

Dreadful betting site. I placed £50.00 deposit and did their Acca promotion. Did a three fold Acca for thirty pounds and it lost. Instead of giving me a thirty pound free bet I (got) their two five pound weekly offer. However although the site shows I have two five pound free bets there is no way I can use these in the bet slip. To top things off you cannot Email support, find a phone number and their live chat is no more than automated abysmal rubbish.

Not only do I not recommend using this site. I seriously warn you to stay clear.

Weeks and weeks 7 to be exact I've not been able to deposit with betway. Numerous calls from betway about my negitive reviews on trust pilot. Last call 4 days ago saying my depositing was backed up and would be cleared 1st April. Tried and still can't deposit. Chat was same answers we have a problem and your new attempt at deposit has blocked the system. BETWAY STOP LYING

At the moment I like this site - specially casino, very good rtp.
Verification easy- was verified on sign up.
Made/requested first withdrawals yesterday so hopefully will be approved today as it’s big company and expecting quick withdrawals process.
Will update you when will receive my withdrawal.
At the moment giving 5* as casino is great - hopefully not will let down regarding withdrawals.
Update- just can say it’s not notch , withdrawals processed next day and went through to account the Same day.

Its a cheater website. My funds went missing 4 months ago user mkapil445, i logged a complaint with them they locked my account. Since then, they r sending me same reply that they are awaiting feedback from the payment processor. Their service is worst in industry. #cheaterbetway

I played a few casino games without a problem and placed some bets. However, when it came to taking my winning out the verification procedure was slow. I got my winnings at the end but it is disappointing that I had to wait a few days for withdrawals

One of the worst bookmakers out there - stay clear. My personal experience I was allowed to bet thousands of £'s on the casino - losing a significant amount of money in the process. But after placing a few sports bets and getting a couple of winners (still significantly down on the account) I have been restricted to the extent I can bet to win no more than £3! Yet I'm still bombarded by emails to play at their casino where I'm allowed to bet how much (and lose) i want. Disgraceful company where people who have a clue about sports betting are not welcome, they just want you to play their casino products or place mug accumulators on football.
