We decided to use this tour service as they talked up the free two hours walking tour which was part of the reason purchasing. Only to arrive at the tour starting point along with 12 other people the guide was so softly spoken you could not hear him. We left and did it on our own. The commentary does not line up with the points of interest. At one stop the bus just sat for 15 minutes with no explanation. Won’t be using this company again.

Expensive for what you receive.

Oh the food included what a joke don’t bother you get a cold soggy sausage on a plate smothered in tomato sauce. Asked if could be swapped for chips a very blunt no. (Stop 4) 21 May 26

Völlig inakzeptable Wartezeiten an Haltestellen ohne Wetterschutz

Big Bus Berlin is a disreputable and despicable company. They scam tourists and sell different tickets than what you ask for.

There were 4 of us who asked for a ticket for the red route, but we could only see which tickets we had received after they were paid for. We reacted immediately and asked the seller to correct the mistake, but he could not / would not.

He told us to contact the head office. We did so straight away, but they tried to give us a voucher instead of refunding the price difference, then asked for the same information and documentation a total of 4 times. This is a classic attrition tactic, where they hope that the people they have cheated won’t bother to get their money back.

They have now stopped responding when I follow up to get my money back.

My recommendation is that you do NOT use Big Bus.

We have used City Sightseeing many times in Berlin, but also in many other cities around the world. They are honest and do not try to cheat tourists, unlike Big Bus and their gangster methods.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Ich würde empfehlen, die Informationen im Audioguide zu erweitern, es gibt zu wenige interessante Fakten über Berlin und zu viel klassische Musik, bei der man einschlafen möchte, besonders im Stau.
Entspricht nicht dem Preis.

Also zuerst hatte sich alles ganz gut angehört und die Beratung war sehr freundlich und nicht aufdringlich. Es gab frische Kopfhörer und die Sitze waren bequem, sauber und die Kopfhörerdosen haben funktioniert und waren Übersichtlich gestaltet. Das war in einem anderen Bus leider alles nicht mehr zutreffend. Wir sind an einem Stop ausgestiegen und der nächste Bus war sehr unbequem, die Sicht war nicht mehr so gut(der Bus war oben mehr verbaut) und ein Terminal war kaputt. Einer aus unserer Gruppe saß an einem Platz, an den die Kopfhörerbuchse kaputt war und dann musste sie sich einen Kopfhörer mit ihrem Nebensitzer teilen. Das alleine war schon sehr ärgerlich. Was aber wirklich enttäuschend war ist, dass tatsächlich sehr wenig Wissen vermittelt wird. Mir sind alleine 3 Passagen aufgefallen, wo sie einfach dasselbe sagen wie an einem anderen Stop. Immer wieder Passagen nur mit Musik. Ich kann nach der über 2 Stunden Fahrt nicht sagen, viel erfrahen zu haben. Keine Fun Facts, nur Lückenhafte Infos, das Timing vom Bus und den Audio Durchsagen war total falsch, ich war immer wieder verwirrt und hab jetzt nicht das Gefühl, das Wissen zu verknüpfen mit den Orten. Und wie gesagt, dann nehmen sie auch gerne Mal ein paar der spärlichen Informationen doppelt: vielleicht fällt es ja nicht auf. Dafür das Berlin so viel Geschichte hat und genug dort passiert, ist es richtig peinlich dass sie 3x genau dasselbe sagen... (Und damit meine ich richtige Info Durchsagen: an zwei Stationen sagen sie genau dasselbe und dann war's das mit den Informationen dazu)
Ich müsste fast nochmal eine andere machen. Und Achtung: die Preise erschlagen einen und im Nachhinein waren sie das auch absolut nicht Wert! Wir waren 2x Studenten und 2 Erwachsene und haben für die wenigen Infos über 140€ gezahlt. Nicht zu empfehlen wenn man wirklich was lernen will. Sehr enttäuschend.

We had a great day touring around Berlin with Big Bus. I recommend using the Big bus App, it’s very informative and easy to use. The busses came very frequently, needn’t wait long for the busses to arrive. Very friendly Staff.
In addition, my husband left his jacket on one of the busses. Called the next day and they were very helpful in finding the jacket and arrange it so we can pick it up on one of the stop station in Alexanderplatz. Thank you for that!

Wir wollten am Geburtstag meiner Mutter noch ganz spontan mitfahren, obwohl die Tour schon fast zu Ende war. Kai hat uns ausnahmsweise einfach so noch mitgenommen und für uns oben sogar noch das Dach geöffnet. Vielen lieben Dank! Für die Großzügigkeit und das damit verbundene Geburtstagsgeschenk sehr gerne fünf Sterne.

Der Big Bus service ist eine tolle Sache. Amanj hat super über die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten informiert und war sehr freundlich.

We always do Big Bus Tours for City breaks, this was exceptional. We did the 2 day tour, both red and blue routes. In with the cost was a tote bag, a currywurst and a walking tour.

Roman our guide for the walking tour was funny, and very informative, kept our attention on a freezing cold Sunday.

Bought a combi ticket with bus and boat trip. The adress for the boat trip was wrong
And when we contacted the crew and showed them our ticket.
The answer was, it wasn’t them. But another company , which were a lye.
The information where first I German, but when it came to English we already had passed the building or point
So when telling us, that we didn’t read the info before the trip.
That’s also not true.
Went back the day after, to same boat, and now we could use our ticket

We had the 48 hour ticket, which included a walking tour. The walking tour was exceptional. Freddie was a real character and brought to life the history of Berlin from World War Two onwards, through suspense and dramatic performance. His personal experience of the fall of the Berlin Wall was particularly special. It was the best two hours we spent in Berlin and gave us plenty of context for the rest of our visit.
Our experience of the bus tour was more mixed. On our first journey we listened to the American commentary and were unimpressed by the amount of information given and the generic music played in between. The next time we switched to the British commentary on Channel 2 and what a contrast! Much more information and more appropriate German classical music so by far a better experience.

Eigentlich ist dieser Stern noch zuviel. Wir hatten ein Kombiticket gebucht und wollten heute unsere Stadtrundfahrt antreten. Es ging schon damit los, das man unser Ticket nicht scannen konnte, dann waren die Leutefänger der deutschen Sprache nicht mächtig und auf Fragen von unserer Seite reagierte man nur genervt. Dann ging es doch los und während der Tour wurden einfach ohne erkennbaren Grund Anfahrtspunkte ausgelassen. Es war nichts zu hören und die eigentliche Sehenswürdigkeiten wurden teils nicht angefahren, so wie es auf den Tourplan stand.
Die Krönung war das der Haltepunkt HBF einfach ausgelassen wurde, so das wir um ein Haar noch eine Rund gefahren wären.
Also meine Familie und ich waren wirklich sehr enttäuscht, zumal wir uns wirklich auf die Rundfahrt gefreut hatten.

Complete waste of money . Waiting 50 minutes in freezing weather to go from red to blue bus . Our ticket clearly stated Friday buses run until 7 pm , waited at stop from 5.30 until 6.45 pm and had to get a taxi back to the hotel .Taxi driver explained they were the most unreliable in Berlin .Avoid at all costs.

Es war sehr unangenehm. Ich hatte am Anfang der Tour meine Klasse daraufhingewiesen das man Kopfhörer bräuchte, da ich gesehn hatte das es an jedem Sitz einen Anschluss gibt und an der Eingangstür lagen verpackte Kopfhörer.
Doch ich hatte mich geirrt denn es gab eine Sprecherin die die Tour life "moderiert" hat, diese machte mich sogleich auch dumm an das man ja keine Kopfhörer breuchte sie könnte ja Deutsch und Englisch. Während der Tour beleidigte sie mich dann indireckt im Minutentackt

Wouldn’t recommend TripAdvisor gave the wrong location. Myself and my friend arrived at the location given to us by TripAdvisor at 5:55pm. The big bus tour that just ended at 6 pm pulled up. We asked if this was the meeting for the big bus tour that was about to begin at 6 pm. They said no, it was in a different location. We would not get this different location on time and we would miss the tour. I am disappointed by this because I should’ve been told the correct location I was really looking forward to the tour. It is your job to give us the correct information about your tour. I shouldn’t be chasing you. I asked for a refund and they wouldn’t give it to me but it’s their fault for not giving the correct location so they should give me a refund. I wouldn’t recommend this. It is a scam. They will take your money not give you the correct location and you will not get to go on your tour. I contacted the tour guide, and they never replied. This is a scam do not go on this big bus to save your money and go on a different one.
