Needed to buy a bulk load of charcoal ready for summer. There is a great variety of charcoal for both home and professional so I opted to mix a bit of both. The Kachi stock charcoal is an excellent product even for home use and provided a long and constant temperature on an offset smokers bbq. Altogether that and the cocoshell and lumpwood charcoal was great value for money. Delivery was quick and efficient too.

My order was delivered on time.
The driver is one of the best ever to deliver at home he neatly store all the items in the shed even before I reach the door.
I was having a bad cancer day so was grateful for his help and something very important he wore a pleasant face

Fast delivery, quality products

Have been using Big K fuel for some years and discovered the transformation of a clean burn fuel. It improves the taste of your food immensely. I can actually now tell when other neighbours are burning supermarket charcoal as you get the hint of paraffin or other burning compositions to make their coal light up better. It will not endure the Big K burn of 3 hours though and I can load my BBQ for smoking and not add anymore coal for a 8 hr smoke.
After every BBQ I always have plenty of unburnt coals that go straight back into my chimney starter for the next burn that makes it highly efficient.
Prices have crept up recently and this years first delivery were not in the damp proof bags like last year; which I thought was a big plus.
Ordering and delivery is as sharp as ever and time will tell if this years product is as good as previous years.

Great products, excellent service, what else can I say?

Heat logs best on the market from what I have tried. Give a lot of heat, compact and minimum ash. Not much ash rises when opening the fireplace. Easy to order online & get delivered on a pallet. I highly recommend

Just ordered 2 fresh bags of restaurant grade charcoal, and unlike the last two bags I ordered thes are actually lumps of charcoal, the last two bags were bits with no lumps, it worked but not perfect, I’ve still given 4 stars as I’ve been using big K for a while and that’s the first time I had not the best bag, but ordered again as previously all was good, and is again, I must have been unlucky to get two bags of bits.

Firstly the online ordering is easy to do, then the charcoal is delivered quickly (2 days) and without any damage because it is sent inside large cartons.
I use Dura charcoal on an open mankal barbeque, there is no ventilation control, however the charcoal burns steadily and gives consistent good heat for cooking. Best of all there is very little ash flying around in the breeze. I prefer the Big K Dura charcoal brand to other suppliers solely on the ash problem, less mess and unsightly clouds of ash.

Been using BIGK products for many years for kettle BBQs and I find this restaurant grade the best value whilst also easy to light, consistent clean burn over several hours, no popping or bad odor. From time to time you get the odd big lumps which can be easily broken down with a hammer. Love the fact I can buy direct.

Great charcoal (Lump Wood Restaurant Grade) for bbq or Tandoor; I haven’t found better.
