Bike Happy Cycle Training Avis 

I really can’t recommend Bike Happy highly enough. Darren is so kind and patient and had my daughter cycling in no time. And importantly she had lots of fun. I just wish I had signed up sooner!

This session was great to me as it helped me to remove my anxiety in cycle and gain confidence. I knew how to cycle but I never actually learned the important basic,

I was so nervous and at 47 convinced I would probably never learn to ride a bike. All that changed when I met Darren. He is very patient and didn’t make me feel silly. It really enjoyed the process, his simple method was such fun and easy to grasp. Now I’m proud to say I’m a cyclist. Thank you so much, you wonderful man.

Just fantastic! I had a block about cycling from childhood. Darren took me through it in manageable steps and I was cycling in less than 2 hours. Truly transformative and I would recommend to anyone who has put cycling on the back burner for whatever reason. Darren’s kind and practical approach is clearly a huge part of his success.

Darren was extremely kindly and patient. I loved my session. I thought i would be super nervous or anxious but i found myself enjoying the entire lesson. It was such a lovely experience. I did not think I would be able to ride a bike, but by the end of the lesson not only am i riding the bike but i have the confidence in myself as well.

Darren is a remarkable teacher! He taught me how to ride a bike within an hour! With his extensive knowledge, vast experience, and patient demeanor, he exemplifies the ideal instructor. Moreover, his kindness shines through in his interactions. For someone like me, who missed out on acquiring this fundamental skill during childhood and subsequently avoided it, Darren is the ultimate mentor. Thanks to his guidance, I am now confidently cycling, and I am immensely grateful to him for imparting this life-changing ability.

My 12 year old son was nervous about learning to cycle but his teacher, Darren, immediately calmed his nerves. Darren is an exceptional teacher. My son learned easily and quickly and, above all, enjoyed the experience. I would give 6 stars I if could.

Darren was so patient with me and re-assuring throughout the whole lesson. There was a small part of me that was scared that 2.5hrs wouldn't be enough to learn how to cycle, but indeed I was cycling on my own before the end of the lesson! Would definitely recommend bikehappy and Darren to anyone wanting to learn how to cycle :)

Darren is a superb teacher. Patient, engaging and he knows his stuff. Our little boy was instantly put at ease and was up and riding within the first lesson and grew in confidence. We can't wait to go on cycling adventures as a family. Can't recommend this training enough.

....and taught our 12 year old how to ride a bike from scratch with calm confidence and warmth. Our son said it was much easier than he thought it would be. I wish I had found him earlier.

Darren is a great instructor and helped me find my balance in just 20 minutes! Definitely worth the money. It took 25 years but now I can finally ride a bike!

Darren was a great teacher, he put me at ease, taught me good tips to try and relax me. He made it fun as well as challenging. I got so much out of it and I'm booking him again!

I am almost 40 and have been putting off learning to ride for a while now, Darren was patient and had me riding on my own within 90 minutes... Highly recommend it, my advice to whoever is a bit nervous and self-aware about learning to ride, is to do it. :)

Highly recommended. After decades of worrying about cycling, i was able to ride a bike by the end of my afternoon with Darren. He's a great teacher - warm, gentle and clear. He made it a joy!

Darren is a great instructor - very patient and encouraging. At 65 this was my last attempt at learning to ride a bike and am happy to say that Darren got me peddling on my own - a short distance I have to confess but it has given me the incentive and confidence to keep going.
