Bin Liners Direct Avis 104

I ordered 240ltr Large Black Superior Recycled Wheelie Bin Liners which should fit over the top of the bin to secure it in place. This is how the Company show the bin liners in the pictures on their website. Unfortunately I have received clear, see through bin liners which do not fit over the top of the wheelie bin to secure them in place. The liners are very thin and I feel these will soon tear apart. The do not have the same robustness or quality of the black liner. Very disappointed with this Company.

I ordered a compost bin a month ago and paid £4.85 for delivery. Still not received it or any further communication from the company apart from an order number and proof of payment. I would not recommend them

Now known as BinLiners.co.uk . Purchased 200 x 200gauge bin bags form BinLiners.co.uk as I had previously ordered these from another company and they were good strong bags but were out of stock .
The ones I received from this company were very thin and not at all strong .Extremely disappointing.

The bin liners I ordered were supposed to be very heavy duty. They were so thin that you could see through them. I contacted company and they blamed the manufacturer. I pointed out that my contract was with them, not the manufacturer. I told them that they are mis-selling and that I should not have to pay return postage. They wouldn't pay it at first, until I told them that I'd contact trading standards.

I used to buy these bags for few years and they always were strong and thick. This time they sent me weak and thin, you can see your hand through the liner, bags comparable to the ones you find on the clearance shelf in a supermarket. They said now the quality and thickness is that one, despite they advertise a fake thickness, and they refuse to offer a free of charge collection to refund the product, found online on Amazon at £10 cheaper from another supplier

Bought supposedly thick and strong bin bags. 4 boxes for £125. Shocking quality. Very thin and tear easily even though they should be thicker than bags I have previously used. Customer service were uninterested. Avoid

I purchased the 300L Plastic Compost Bin. The bin quality is excellent. Delivery was free and the price was very competitive. The bin arrived very quickly. It was so easy to put together and all the parts (apart from the lid) clipped together brilliantly. I struggled for half and hour and still couldn't get the lid to clip on. I emailed the customer support for any suggestions, but apart from a holding email, I didn't get any help whatsoever. Top Tip: get some Olive Oil on a piece of kitchen roll and cover the clips and the holes where the clips go in. I was then able to snap the lid on. The bin is brilliant and I ordered a second one as I was so pleased. Customer support was non-existent I'm afraid which let them down.

Unfortunately I must agree with the people who gave one star to this company. Upon receiving this box i immediately noticed how thin and transparent the liner were. I tried one by putting in some small polystyrene pieces and while inserting them, the liner split open at the bottom as if I had inserted a brick (they are supposed to be used for up to 15Kg of weight). What a laugh. I take the loss and will use 4 or 5 of them together trying to get a decent and stronger liner because i don't want to spend even a single penny to return their ridiculous goods.
Avoid buying from this company.

I bought a kitchen bin and unfortunately it was faulty. I have emailed on numerous times with no response!! Absolutely terrible customer service and would highly recommend not purchasing from them!!! Still emailing at present trying to get my money returned!!!

Bin liners arrived quickly but are very poor quality and see though although they were advertised as 200 guage. No response to emails sent requesting a refund so now paid to return them as they are not fit for purpose

I placed the order, paid for it, then the next day received a message that the entire order is out of stock, no expected date for new stock, ridiculous, if Bin Liners as a company cannot list items as in or out of stock when ordering them, they are clearly taking the mickey, order cancelled.

Review updated, on 30/01 I receive the email telling me all items out of stock, so I replied on 30/01 'cancel the order please', then on 01/02 I receive 'order dispatched' email, on 02/02 the complete order arrives delivered, very odd company, but the order arrived, albeit with contradictory updates.

Great prices as well.

ABSOLUTE SCAM !!!! MY ADVICE : NEVER HAVE ANY DEALINGS WITH THIS COMPANY !

We ordered the "Duo Recycling Bin 40 Litre Tower" It came the following day.
Once opened we were not happy with the product.
My phone call to them: Their reply:
Video the product if it's faulty you can send it back.
I replied; "No I will not video"
They replied: "I will charge you £12 P&P"
(we have had the goods for 24 hours,) I explained that the law is, I can return goods if we are not happy with them.
The company was having none of it. They believe they are above the law.
In the end she arranged a pick up, but warned me that if the product is in good condition, they will deduct £12 from my payment!!!
I will wait to see what happens, if they deduct £12 I will take it further.
Never Never buy from this company, I'm happy if anyone wants to contact me.

very bad service. very bad delivery and very bad products

This company lists products as "in-stock" make you pay immediately at order and then minutes later send you a message that the item is out of stock and that it will ship at some non-specified date in the future. When you write for a refund you get a standard message "we will respond in 5!!!!!!!! working days. The fact they haven't replied to a single negative feedback and advertise a 5.0 rating on their site whilst it is 3.2 says enough: ABSOLUTE SCAM

This company cherry picks product reviews. I ordered 200g 'quality' bin liners and they turned out to be thin and no better than a cheap supermarket own brand bin liner. I received an invite to do a product review so gave an honest review to help customers decide if to purchase i.e. the review was that they weren't good quality and wouldn't recommend. The review was never posted. I emailed the company to ask when my review would be published - no reply after a week of waiting. I can only assume the company posts 4/5 star reviews and doesn't post any reviews lower than this. I'm sure other customers have left poor reviews of the product and these haven't been published. If they had, I wouldn't have bought from them. Not sure if this is legal? Can you select which reviews you post on your website as it gives a false representation of your products. As I received no reply from company and they wouldn't post my product review, I would advise everyone to avoid. Just wish I had seen the other reviews on trustpilot before purchasing!

Ordered yesterday afternoon with delivery by Royal Mail which could take up to 10 days. Delivered this morning by DHL - less than 24 hours from ordering. Could not ask for a more superb service.

All good. Was a bit concerned at the number of negative reviews here but my order of Simplehuman bin liners was delivered quickly and exactly as descibed. Very good value.

I made small order and TWICE was stated FREE delivery. I did not notice on the final page default delivery charge. Contacted sales and received a woman with serious attitude. Whilst I accept i should have read EVERY page and not just focused on the original page price, there are genuine mistakes and in fairness, their website should not mislead with stating unconditional FREE delivery twice at earlier stage. Woman flatly refused to discuss further. I can't in all honesty recommend this company. Their lack of customer service is so evident.

Whilst my initial response from the company's customer service was not good, it is important i post this update since the co' chairman responded, noting...:
my particular issue had rarely (if ever), previously occurred however he investigated and felt there could be grounds for updating the website so 'Cheers' to Mr Austen getting involved and settling positively and swiftly, hence my change in stars.
