Because of the excellent reviews on line we chose this company for our review. How much I regret this the move was a debacle from start to finish. Very poorly managed and arranged by there surveyor and the whole experience was anything but stress free in the 8 moves I have done over the years this was the most stressful and the most expensive. I am now dealing with their head office to deal with the appalling experience that I went through. Please note this review has been submitted and compiled by Mr Ronald Cogger which due to a fault he was unable to do on his own phone.

Fast Efficient Move, Friendly Staff, extremely helpful and courteous

We recently moved from West Sussex to Inverness. Bishops Move were excellent throughout the entire process from the initial video walkthrough of our old house, a sensible quotation, provision of boxes and tape and a very efficient and careful loading, transportation and unloading of our possessions. Special thanks to Giuseppina in the Office and George and his crew for delivering an extremely professional service, the best we have experienced in our several house moves.

We were moved from a very large house into a smaller property with some access problems. The team made a challenging move as pleasant and stress free as possible. They were cheerful and helpful throughout, for which we are very grateful. Thank you!

Can’t recommend Bishops Move enough. Lots of effective communication, I was always aware of what was going on. The movers were exceptional. Glen and Lewis were very hard working and totally efficient. They made me feel very confident that my belongings were well looked after.

Louise at Bishops Move has been very professional and helpful throughout our move from the UK to Spain. The collection and delivery teams have also been very courteous and have provided a first class service - particularly Darren on the delivery side in Spain

We had a big move from Kent to Devon and had outbuildings full of smallholding items, chicken runs, hay etc - in addition to the house. It was an overwhelming prospect but Darron came up with many great suggestions to relieve the pressure and help us approach it all sensibly. A big shout-out to Laurie, too, who was so lovely - particularly as I lost my Dad in the midst of it all. She was understanding and accommodating. The removal guys were charming, too! And efficient. Possibly not the cheapest service around, but for me worth every penny. Not sure how we'd have managed it all without them. Big thank you!

The whole team, especially Giuseppina and Tracy were amazing, as were the lads that did all the physical move. We had a complicated move: out of a large house in a rural location into storage. Then, removal from our temporary first-floor flat in York (no lift, and car parking awkward) and storage locker to our new home near Bedford. Followed by delivery of our storage stuff to Bedford. The move was planned seamlessly and efficiently by the ladies in the office. The lads were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. Five star service - I would recommend them to everyone.

All the guys were very helpful and obliging and packed everything safely for our move. Nothing was too much trouble and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Sales team were super helpful when I called (and coped admirably with my unexpected tech issues).

Crew on the day were great - I gave them brief instructions on what to pack (and what not to) and they just got on with it. Everything was packed and clear much quicker than I was expecting. Now we just have to see how it looks when it comes back from storage!

For my move from Surrey to South Wales, I initially used Bishop's Move as a benchmark for pricing. They turned out to be the most reasonable in terms of cost. They also had the best levels of communication I experienced in my searches for a suitable company.
Coming from a long career in the Private Hire industry as a controller and fleet manager for a large minicab firm with 300 vehicles until I moved into the chauffeur industry for the last 3 years as the fleet manager for Londons top chauffeur company, I know from experience how to deal with the public on a professional level, and a B2B level. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my move went as smoothly as possible due to circumstances that were outside of my control. I cannot recommend Bishop's Move enough.

I recently moved over 70 miles across the UK and the team were fantastic. They arrived on time and clean and tidy... worked really hard and ensured that all we needed was actioned . great communication and support. Nothing was too much to help and whole experience was easy and painless. Jack was a godsend to help with the small details and the extra help that arrived was invaluable to complete the test in time and in full.. This company came highly recommended by my daughters friend and this company did not disappoint. They were outstanding from start to finish, the boys that moved us were laughing joking and had a great sense of humour. We downsized from a 4 bed detached family house to our forever home, a 3 bed chalet bungalow in sunny Stubbington!

Bishop’s Move were excellent from start to finish - big shoutouts to Jane in the Guildford branch who was my key liaison pre move, Jane is awesome & we hit it off from the get go. Stuart at the Portsmouth branch was also great pre move, as I discussed & agreed the collection of flat packed cardboard boxes & tape. Move day crew of Jules, James & Eric were fantastic throughout the day.. courteous, pragmatic & offered solutions where needed, really nice team(s) & company overall!

I would recommend Bishop’s Move to all family, friends & acquaintances! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
