Do not trust this company. I purchased a vitamin that cost me $55 US dollars; I live in Canada. After purchasing the product, I did not receive any updates or information regarding the delay or delivery for one month. Despite numerous emails and text messages to the merchant, I only received a message saying, 'Sorry for the delay, be patient.' Following that response, I was told they would send me another bottle, and if I received the original one, I should keep it. At this point, I asked them to issue a refund instead. I did not receive a response until I followed up with additional emails and texts to the customer. A few days later, a UPS courier arrived at my door and asked me to sign for a package, which I was told I needed to pay a customs fee of $64.19 for. I refused to sign for or take possession of the package. The delivery person took it away. I sent a text and email to the owner of Black Girl Vitamin about paying for the product, and I was surprised to learn that I had to pay to receive it. The business owner was aware of this beforehand; they made the decision to use UPS. I am now left with the bill, and after speaking to UPS customer service, they advised me to contact Black Girl Vitamin again. I have done so for the past three weeks, but they continue to refuse to respond. I told them I need them to resolve the issue, but they have not. I am still stuck paying extra for a package I never received, and each week UPS is adding late fees. Black Girl Vitamin is not a trustworthy company; they do not accept responsibility for their actions. They are quick to take our money, but slow to admit fault when it’s their mistake. I will be warning others on all social media platforms not to buy from them. 

I had to dispute the charge. Their website said shipping is between 3-5 business days. They created a shipping label on 7/8 for an order placed on 7/3 on 7/13, I requested a refund which they said it was to late because it was dropped at the post office however it wasn't. I disputed the charge with my financial institution, they canceled the order but didn't refund the money and I'm waiting for my money back from the dispute. This was my first and last time dealing with this company which is sad because I've heard great things about the products. Terrible customer service means this company won't be around long.

First of all, why is the powder in such a large container but half full ❓
Secondly, I have contracted the worst yeast infection from the powder. It took about 2wks before the irritation started and another 2wks for me to figure out what caused the infection. I'm not using this product anymore and looking to give it away 🤦🏽‍♀️

I have ordered from this company before . I got sea moss the collagen gummies the vagina BV gummies and the pills meno chill I believe .. the pills I didn’t see or feel a difference really in the other vitamins either . I figured I will keep buying from this black owned company . Well I reordered my vitamins I received the collagen powder . I ordered the gummies .. I have been trying to get in contact with them via email . They did address the issue and said that they will give me a credit for the cost of the powder .. I requested to be sent the gummies . I haven’t heard one word from this company since .. so I guess that’s it for me ordering anything from them ..

I love that they are advertising,1but the. Ads are too long. I am a product of the microwave generation. If your ads have to be 30 t0 45 seconds long, what are we doing. It makes it seem scammich. Zeelool and Macy's gets it. Why don't you?

The product performance hits every positive marker. My complaint is what the powder. I opened up my container and it was half full. I have sent a message to the company and hopefully they will take heat to this issue. my hope is that they listen, and at least feel the containers for collagen more than half filled.

I ordered a subscription for the collagen peptide powder.

The order came with a frother to mix the powder into the liquid you want to use. The instructions said the frother takes AAA batteries.

I attempted a couple times to put the batteries into the device and they would not fit. I doubled and triple checked and they were definitely triple AAA batteries.

I made a video of my attempts to get the batteries into the device and emailed it to the company on July 1, 2026, to see if I can get another frother.

Today is July 11th and I have yet to receive a response.

Needless to say, I canceled my subscription due to poor customer service.

I am giving them one star because I have to select it. I am totally ashamed that this product is marketed to Black women. This product is so full of sugar and chemicals that it should not be called a vitamin. I have been reaching out to them for a refund, but to no avail. I have called their Chicago contact number and emailed them from my email and from their website. No one has reached out to me. I cancelled all of my products and requested a refund.

When I took the 'candy' vitamins, my legs swelled, my stomach ached, and my head spun. They were the only different intake in my diet. I would like a full refund for the items, howeever all I have seen and heard from the owners is how they are living it up on social media.

They are a disgrace to the Black community.

I placed my order on the 20th of June and didn't receive till the 29th of June. Upon my receipt I opened my collagen container and it was maybe half full. I wrote them stating my concerns and they wrote back stating it was accurate. This was not my first time ordering this product and never had this problem. I like the product however I will not be slighted any longer and will not support this company any more.

I never received a response to my concern about two visual different products. Not only did the PCOS supplement facts change without notification, so did the size and look of the actual gummy! I was seeking clarification because both products were purchased straight from BGV! Because who would not be concerned!? I am so disappointed because I have been rooting for BVG! I’m all for supporting black owned businesses…. But then this happened and it’s so disturbing to say the least…. Product change (beyond just flavor), completely different look, no public notification, and even if you are not obligated to notify the public a response to those who caught the change would better protect the brand. People are ingesting these vitamins and BGV is choosing not to respond. For that reason, I have lost faith in BGV products, I do not feel comfortable ingesting something that comes from a company that appears to be hiding something. All I wanted was information on the photo provided about the differences. WHY? The same concerns anyone would have if expecting one thing but was given another.

Since taking these products I have started having irregular cycles and an excessive amount of hair growth during my ovulation. My cycles had been regulated for the last 5 years until last month. NOW I'm having a menstrual cycle every 2 weeks again. Highly disappointed because I purchased PCOS, Vaginas prebiotics, ashgwanda and sea moss. These gummies have too much sugar.

My 1st order went well. I reordered last month and nothing has been shipped. They do not respond to me emails which my 1st one was over a week ago. I will not be ordering from them again. The Meno chill works but I have officially ran out since my order is not here.

Their products do exactly what they claim they do. The website is hard to navigate though. My order is not even showing (but, I was charged for it!). I really hope that they read their reviews! UPDATE the website to make it easier to find orders, receipts and just your info (demographic) period..like Name, Address, phone etc..

I’m honestly disappointed with my experience. First, the delivery took much longer than expected, which was already frustrating. But what really bothered me was when I opened the container — it wasn’t even half full.

I don’t understand why the product is placed in such a large container if it’s not filled properly. It feels misleading and gives the impression that you’re getting more than you actually are.

Overall, between the slow shipping and the packaging issue, this was not a great experience for me.

Meno Chill allergic reaction. Took awhile to figure it out. Meno Chill has no effect on hot flashes. I did notice allergic reaction, a slight tingle -itchiness throughout my body. Not enough to go to hospital, but definitely need an antihistamine. I do use the collagen powder because I purchased it, not sure if I see a difference in my skin. I also purchased Choles Control, I will not be using them.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience with Black Girl Vitamins has been beyond disappointing. I placed my order on May 14th and received an email on May 15th stating my items had shipped. Here we are over two weeks later, and I still have not received my order.

What’s more frustrating is that I reached out to customer service and was simply reassured that my package would arrive, yet there has been no real resolution, accountability, or urgency. For a company with premium-priced products, customers should not have to wait this long with little transparency.

I specifically chose to order directly from the company because I wanted to support a Black-owned business. Ironically, several people who recommended the brand later told me to avoid ordering directly and instead purchase through TikTok Shop because it arrives within days. That alone should be concerning to leadership. Customers should never feel third-party platforms provide better service than the company itself.

At this point, I’ve already gone to the store and purchased my collagen and vitamins elsewhere through MaryRuth Organics because I could no longer wait. I’ve ordered from multiple companies after placing this order and received every single package before this one.

This was my first order and unfortunately will be my last. The products are already expensive, so combining premium pricing with delayed shipping and poor communication creates a very frustrating customer experience. I truly hope the CEO and leadership team reevaluate their fulfillment and shipping process because loyal customers are being lost before they even get the chance to try the product.

My hot flashes were non-existent with my current doctor recommended supplement (Relizen). But I wanted to try Meno-Chil and support BGV. The Meno-Chill is not for everyone. I hadn't any hot flashes in years, but since taking Meno-Chill the hot flashes, morning sweats are back with a vengeance. Understanding you can't lump us all in one basket. This is my second month taking them because I really wanted them to work and give BGV a chance, but they are a NO for me.
