I recently took out a Black Horse policy after buying a used car and when I tried to create an online account I got a message to say that I already had an account, so I tried to log in, but it didn't recognise my email address. Turns out, someone else's email address has been assigned to my account, and when I called Black Horse to query this I was told it is a known fault with their website/app that is effecting some customers and the problem would need to be logged with IT. The lady I spoke to couldn't tell me when the issue would be resolved and more importantly, she couldn't be certain that someone else couldn't access my account and see all my personal details. I was just told to "keep checking on the progress", which I think is an appalling way to treat customers who are trusting you with their data. Black Horse should be keeping me informed, I shouldn't have to chase them. I can't believe after all the recent data breaches that Black Horse are not taking more steps to ensure their systems are secure. It's just unacceptable.

Awful website. I have an online account which I’ve never had any difficulty logging into before. It is now asking me to change my password but won’t allow any of the new passwords that I’m trying despite them all meeting the requirements set out.

Finance for my car swiftly arranged by Black Horse Finance

I’ve been trying to get a response re a complaint from this company for over two years. I’ve repeatedly told them I’m disabled and autistic, yet I’ve received no response, despite multiple attempts to contact them.

Their customer service is appalling, and their handling of my concerns including serious questions around the car sales commission, has been completely unacceptable.

This is a breach of both FCA rules and the Equality Act 2010. I’ll be taking this to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Avoid if you’re a vulnerable customer as they do not care.

Finance was very easy to arrange. Very quick decision and got a very good APR. Compare rates to other providers and got very good value for money. I would recommend Black Horse Finance

I have been waiting nearly 4 months for a response, their communication is awful. I ahve sent 3 chasing emails but I have had no acknowledgement.

Everything worked as it should have until it came to the end of contract excess mileage. Having paid the correct fee, I asked for a VAT receipt but was advised that they do not issue them. I questioned this, and upon checking internally, they confirmed that they were required to provide one if requested. Well, here we are over a month later, and despite chasing them, I still have no VAT receipt.

Purchase a car on finance reported the issues with the car to Blackhorse they wasn’t very helpful at all took 11 weeks and never received my compensation or the money back for the investigation into what was wrong with the car been left £3800 pound down due to having to get rid of the car ended up having to pay negative equity as it wasn’t worth what it was finances at during purchase they never ring you back when they say they will and conveniently haven’t received emails even though I emailed the same email that had received my emails before!!!!! AVOID YOURSELF THE HASSLE OF DEALING WITH THEM 😡

Absolutely abysmal website. I was logged on, my password saved on my iPhone, nothing changed. Then all of a sudden I can’t log on with my usual details and nothing has changed. I have tried changing the password to no avail. Been like this for a month or so now.Can’t email them , or live chat, just a phone call which I can’t do while I’m at work and when I could call them they’re closed. You can’t even access their website after around 10pm at night when it will allow you log on. Bit of a joke really.

Quick and easy. All done in a few hours, from phoning the dealer, getting the finance, and collecting the car.

Black horse finance your car and after just only 2000miles in 9 months say wear and tear even after main audi dealer ship say very un likely .black horse never made decision till time limit by law up then financial ombudsman take 4 mths to say wear and tear even after two independent reports so now having to appeal and ombudsman saying another 3 mths to look at it any all the time b /horse wanting there money dont deal with any on them
