This was not a pleasant transaction. Despite what the company answered below though they did offer a replacement via email they said it would be done Mar 16. I emailed several more times with no response. Called customer service. No answer, no voicemail. When I wrote a review on this platform they responded on Mar 20. It was refunded which is appreciated. For me, personally, this will be my last interaction with them.

The delivery took about 1011 days, Packaging was awesome. Product is awesome. I will order again but I don’t like waiting a half a month. So thank you USPS for the long wait.

Randomly remembered this company just now as I ordered from them quite often as a teenager. What always vexes me about these guys is that they would create a shipping label to mark an order as “shipped”, then proceed to sit on their chairs eating donuts for 2-3 weeks before actually taking it to the post office. I know they like to claim it’s an issue with USPS or some other fake platitude meant to fool a 17 year old kid, but let’s be real: if some random seller from eBay can send an item out via USPS, and have it go from one side of the country to the other in less than 3 business days, there is no shot a company like this cannot. They simply just do not care. Keep that in mind if you ever order from them. I swear to god they probably have 2 days every month where they actually take the items to the post office, and if you happen to order in the interim, have fun waiting a decade before you see your cheap chinese knives. Like why even put on the facade of shipping out the orders with the whole “your order has been shipped” email? I can literally see on the tracking website that all you’ve done is create a shipping label on USPS. The knives I’ve bought is still sitting at your warehouse waiting for your company to gather enough orders so you can save trips to the post office by taking them there all at once. Why don’t you just tell us when your batches go out so we can just order prior to that? Maybe then you wouldn’t be getting cooked on Reddit and trust pilot. But yea, don’t order from here. Literally any other store—even eBay—would yield you faster shipping & service.
Edit: Just checked the BBB. This company has 113 complaints lmao, and most of them are reference the exact problem that I’m pointing out. Seems like you can place an order here, have it “shipped”, then go to trade school and learn to be a blacksmith, and by the time you’re able to make your own knives, they still wouldn’t have taken the knives you’ve bought to the post office😂😂

I bought a Dream Tech knife from Blade City. It had a slight problem. When I let them know, they immediately shipped out a replacement that was perfect . I got in in about three days. Their service and shipping is FANTASTIC !

This company intentionally puts things in pictures of ads they know they don’t have in stock to get people to be interested and than puts in small print they will swap them out. Slow shipping. Dishonest business. Crappy products

They sat on my package for over a week before shipping and the product I received is not the one pictured on their website, specifically the cool swords got swapped for lawnmower blades with handles made from electrical tape and shoelaces. After going back and checking the item description on their website, I noticed it describes different items than the ones in the photo except I didn't receive all those either, I'm missing a scythe.

It's been 23 days and still no delivery, it just says it's in the traveling network but it's been there for 5 days after it had said it's in Massachusetts and left and I live in Connecticut. Terrible customer service, the knives look nice but definitely not worth this headache!
UPDATE:
Changed my review to three stars, right in the middle.
My order was cancelled and charges reversed on my card. So kudos and thank you to them for that. It did take a negative review here to get action on it but the fact that the main issue was handled and I did not have to fight tooth and nail for it was much appreciated.
As I said previously (and this applies to ANY company) do your research before ordering. Read the fine print in regards to shipping. Look at previous reviews and anticipate any potential problems that may arise should you decide to buy something.
I really wish I lived in Florida (or someplace close) where they are located because I have to admit, they've got some good prices for some great stuff.
If you're able to grab something from them, then you're very lucky.
If only the company were as diligent as responding to emails and receiving calls as they are to maintaining their website. I hate to give 1 star reviews as they really represent the lowest of the low. I rarely give them but I am compelled to do this now. If at the very least to get SOME kind of response from them because I know someone from the company lurks here. As an aside, I wish I had done research and looked at reviews about this company before I ordered from them so I will cop to that. I did not do my due diligence.
So here goes.
I made an order for a couple of knives on March 28 and did not receive any kind of notification that it went through, no verification. So I tried to create an account but was having issues. For some reason, the website kept refreshing to the home page. Anyway, I was finally able to establish an account and view my order. It showed that it went through - verified that there was a charge made to my credit card, but still unfulfilled. I emailed them four days later on April 1 asking for an update. Still no response (although I did get an April Fools email of "your order is confirmed!" along with a faux order number and a surprise discount so... nice touch I guess). They finally responded a week later with the common "we are having issues shipping..." message that I have seen in other reviews here and they asked if I had an alternate address. I responded that I do not and would just like the charges on my card reversed if they are unable to fulfill my order. I sent another follow up three days later and have yet to hear back from them.
If you are reading this, if would mean I have sent one more email asking for my charges to be reversed and letting them know I am going to dispute this with the bank. I am genuinely curious as to which will garner a response first, my email to them, or this review here.
TIP: Do your research on companies you want to order from, especially those with awesome looking websites, discounts, and slick advertising. The one time I took a chance and did not do it led me here.

If i could give Blade City more stars I would there customer service is top notch and i never had a problem contacting someone when i had questions didn’t have any delays getting my order in a timely manner….
After a short while I finally got a blade city member to answer and he helped me, he made sure it was shipped as it had been 6 days (bought Friday and's wendsday), overall pretty good. Before I got a reply this was 1 star I changed it as he helped me. They do get mad if you leave one stars tho 😂😂, but again overall pretty good, although I don't think they can count as it's the 6th day not fourth lol

Changing my review from a 1 star to 4 star. I ordered Feb.14th it went a whole week unfulfilled with no email or anything explaining why. I had to contact the company at least 5 different ways before I finally got a message from someone... come to find out it wasn't completely their fault emails to their customer service were going to the spam folder and I guess they had just had work done on their phones. But a big bonus is their owner was the one who reached out to me personally and he seems like a great guy. He explained one of my knives I ordered was not in stock and gave me options that he could either send it all on Monday or he could send what they have and the other when it got there. I opted for Monday but then come to find out he was able to send it all that Friday and he even threw in a free knife as a gift for the trouble and he didn't even skimp on that the free knife was actually really nice. Then for some reason the shipping took so long, but they finally came on Mar.4th.
The takeaway is it's a small company with high quality knives you probably won't find elsewhere. But that means you're not gonna get the same speedy shipping as you do from Amazon. But the personal touch from the owner himself and the care he gave to one order which I'm sure he gives to every order that has a problem you're also not gonna get from Amazon or any other big company.
So... buy at your own leisure if you want some cool stuff from an awesome small mom and pop type company this is a great one to choose. Just learn some patience and you'll be fine.

I ordered way back before Christmas. I immediately got the generic thank you email. Here we are the 9th of Jan and I have nothing. I paid for ups faster shipping. They send me an email stating usps. I keep asking for the order number. They refuse to give it to me. I will never buy from them again. I suggest others do not either. They are running a scam!
I’ve email them twice trying to get a cancellation on an order, but they never responded to my email. I am going to try and cancel my orders all together, but I am not sure if they will even respond to that email. Don’t purchase from these guys.
Good customer service, I received a faulty item, wrote some stupid things, but they were courteous and offered help even when I got angry, they were courteous, I decline they're offer of help, but it was nice to see even when I was being stupid they were still friendly and helpful.
So I'd recommend this company, they included a really nice free gift too on my purchase.
But yeah customer service and a small business, show them some love. Thanks guys, Great shop with a lot of selection with great prices and quick shipping. I'd definitely recommend this store as probably the best place to find that knife that you'll never find elsewhere. AAA+++

Terrible experience, payed for 2 day shipping and was told it would take 2 days for it to process, here I am almost 2 weeks later no package and they keep giving the sam automated response of " it will be delivered in 1-2 business days thanks for ur patience and understanding!".
