Slightly Disappointed
It was good that you could order samples. Ordering was easy & delivery was quick. I have given this 3 stars as finally got to put them up (after decorating) to find one of the chains snapped, fortunately I found a connector from an old keyring to repair, the mechanism feels quite flimsy & the overall quality isn't great so not sure how long they will last = we will see.

I ordered Venetian blinds for my bay…
I ordered Venetian blinds for my bay window in our lounge. I paced the order on a Sunday and by the Wednesday they had been delivered to us. Lovely product and beautiful when fitted. Love them.

OK but...
The Blinds are lovely. However I sent exact width of my window in mm, and they were too big. I had to provide video evidence and then another blind was sent out. This was also too wide for the gap by 2-3mm! My hubby chopped a bit off an internal part to make it fit.

Would have given them 4 stars as there was one size we needed that they couldn’t do. However given that all was excellent and that makemyblinds (who made the missing size) were a nightmare they deserve the 5

Did not get a cofirmation so ordered…
Did not get a cofirmation so ordered again got 2 blinds that i dont need paid twice .They were help with and its there fault.Blind has a awful white plastic edge on the end rubish.

We’d just like to clarify that an order confirmation was sent to the email address provided. A second identical order was then placed, and by the time you contacted us, both had already been manufactured and dispatched.
The white plastic exposed bottom bar is also a standard feature and is clearly stated in the product description.

Delivery and fixings
The order took a very long time to arrive. There were no screws although it stated they were included. The blind itself is absolutely fine.

Regarding the screws, our product information does not state that screws are included. Fixings are not supplied with our made-to-measure blinds, as the appropriate type of fixing required can vary depending on the surface they are being fitted to.

Why a 4 star review?
I have been a customer with Blinds4U for many years and their products have always been excellent quality, and the ordering system is simple. I recently ordered two roller blinds which arrived well packaged as usual and are the usual good quality, Why a four star review then? Unlike my many previous orders, there were no fixing screws included. Why? Small screws do not cost much to include, especially if bought in bulk. Luckily, I have a local hardware shop that sells screw in small numbers, but not everybody will be so lucky.
