Did not meet our expectations

The ordering process was way harder than it needed to be. We had someone call us 3 times to confirm the measurements and we still got the wrong size sent. Taking them back we got awful customer service. We finally received them and they were fine but the top cover is too small and doesn’t cover the metal of the blind. Would not go out of my way to order from them again.

Good experience, but check how you measure the valence

Overall, we had a really good experience with Blinds To Go. I liked getting reasonable size fabric samples so we could choose something that would work in our space. The shipping was good, and the installation instructions were pretty clear. The measuring instructions were also pretty clear - the only negative I would say is that we invested in the upgraded valence, but because of irregularities in the shape of our window opening, it is about1/8" too short to fully snap on. It is not really noticeable to anyone but me, but I wish there had been a note to make sure your width reflects the width at the top (not your narrowest part all the way down).

Horrible customer service in Kanata store

Horrible experience! Low customer service. The management did not bother to pick up my calls based on the # on file or to directly fix my concerns several times. When I called from another phone, automatically the staff picked up their phone. Did not give me updates as I've mention this in store first time to give me each update as I like to be informed as I had a very busy schedule. I had an installation person come into my place 2x which I found bizarre considering they already had my measurements. Prior to arrival of the 2nd appointment, I had not been home and I recieved a call earlier than expected time I was given with no advance notice they were showing up. Thankfully Andre was nice enough to wait. And was quick at the last visit when finishing up with the blinds. Yet I've recieved an email a week later to schedule an appointment to complete the installation when its already been done. The Kanata location is not at all organized considering that I've put in considerable amount of money through the hassle and the staff puts a smile when they have not much sympathy for your frustrations. The management is not at all a very nice lady as once the deposit is received, she no longer cares. It was a disappointment to see they just care about their sales target only.

The blinds i received did not fit in the window after giving the correct measurements

Pros:
Staff are friendly, price seems reasonable.

Cons:
Blinds are too short to fit in window after following measurement guide.
No instructions came with package
No online instructions for the model of bracket i received
I have to now use 2 sets of spacers for the blinds to fit correctly as they are too short.
I even measured again to make sure i gave them the correct dimensions of the window, which i did.
No smart blinds for sale.

Updating my review after having the shade up for a while.
The quality of the product is good for the price. it looks excellent in the home office. The setup experience was awful but the finished product works well. +1 star.

Extended Delivery

Taking into consideration delivery during Covid, I ordered Sept. 21 and did not receive my blinds until late November. The first time I ordered in July and received it in late Sept. but BTG acknowledged the long wait. A very nice thing to do.

My blinds were set to be installed ends…

My blinds were set to be installed ends of september. It is now december and I am still waiting on 2 replacement balances. I have lost too much time and energy on phone calls with the store and multiple appointments for the installer to come to my home. Very disappointing service for something that should be straight forward. 699127

Back in September 2020

Back in September 2020, I'd ordered blinds for our kitchen and TV room. As anticipated, the blinds were ready for installation approx. 6 weeks after we'd ordered them. 'Robbie', the gentleman who came to install our blinds (contractor), was absolutely wonderful! He was professional, on time and did an excellent job at not only hanging the blinds perfectly, but he was also very organized and neat when he worked... our kind of guy! I don't know his last name, but I live in Kanata, ON and Robbie is apparently a long-standing contractor for Blinds-to-Go. I would love it if he would be recognized for his extraordinary work. Additionally, the staff at your Kanata store (Centrum Plaza) were equally so lovely to deal with. They helped me choose the right blinds, were friendly, courteous and very good with their communication... and the sales promotion was the bonus! This is one very satisfied customer... thank you! We'll be returning to you in the summer/fall of 2021 as we will be moving into a new home and so we'll need some new indow treatments. Can't wait! See you again in 2021! Stay safe everyone at Blinds-to-Go!

Our blinds came after 6-8 weeks with…

Our blinds came after 6-8 weeks with wrong piece of metals so the installer can't install it on time. We have to wait for another week or so to get the right parts. Very disappointed!

This last order for 2 blinds was the last room in our home to redo. Our experience with Blinds to Go is a 5 star rating because each and every time we went in to order blinds we were given prompt courteous service and each time the orders were received earlier that estimated. We have never had a problem with any of our 8 blinds we purchased. We highly recommend this company.

Great Experience

Fruggle but helpful

Friendly. I had a blind I bought from Blinds to Go a few years ago that needed to be cut. I was annoyed initially that I was being charged for every single little cut but thankful that they waved 1/3 cuts. It was the difference of making me want to return to Blinds to Go or not.

Wonderful experience!

Wonderful experience!! The sales staff were helpful and very knowledgeable. We requested a partial install, so that we could move into the house, and there were no issues. The installer did forget one of the blind in his van, but when he realized his mistake he texted and scheduled a new time right away. We are very happy with our window coverings and have recommended them already to friends and family.

Very good products

Overall very good service, knowledgeable staff and a good finished product professionally installed. The wait time was long, about 6 weeks and one blind had to be reordered as the measurements taken were incorrect. There was no extra charge for the error and in the end the blinds are great. We would definitely use them again.

Excellent job

Excellent job. A note to consider. When you have more than one blind in the same room with the same window size, the bottom of the blind should be cut to match on both blinds.
