We visited the Oshawa Blinds To Go location about half an hour before closing, and I was genuinely impressed by the level of service we received. Even though it was near the end of their day, the staff were welcoming, patient, and took the time to help us with our needs without rushing us.
They answered all our questions clearly and made sure we felt confident in our choices. It’s not often you receive such attentive service so close to closing time. Really appreciate the professionalism and dedication—highly recommend this location!

At the in-home consultation it was very disappointing that the first three choices I made from the book of swatches all turned out to be discontinued. It's hard to feel good about the experience when it starts off that way. I ended up not doing one window because the selection just wasn't sufficient.
Prices were still pretty high despite the BOGO offer, but if the quality is there then it's worth it, right? Not so fast. Turns out one of the 4 blinds I purchased worked out well, good colour choice and material, and functions exactly as expected. The other three matching blinds in our primary bedroom were a huge problem. First with installation - you would think that if there are three windows on three connected walls, the installer would default to using a laser leveler, but I had to push for that to happen. In the end he agreed that it was necessary because one of my windows was off. Good thing I was watching!
Next was the function - the blinds would not go up without a fight...and a lot of jiggling. The installer thought it was ok, and told me to get in touch with Blinds to Go if I wasn't happy - which I told him outright that I wasn't. When he was asked to come back and fix, he was under the impression that the problem was that they would not stay down! He ended up taking them away, but not giving any communication about what would happen next or when. I had to call Blinds to Go myself to get information. Then when he came back to reinstall, he made a comment about the material, "Did the manager at Blinds to Go tell me about how these were a bad choice of material for the blinds?" In other words, did they sell me something they should not have done, knowing it would result in a substandard product? Turns out nothing had changed. These are black-out blinds, and apparently they are "sensitive" to hot and cold. Too cold, they won't go up, and when it gets too hot (it's been winter weather since I had them installed), they won't stay down. Will they do the right thing if this is what happens when the hot weather arrives? Only time will tell.
One star for one out of four blinds, and nothing for communication.

Blinds are awesome. So pleased with them. The blinds have made a significant difference in the beauty of our home. The staff especially Pablo were so helpful. He helped us pick out the perfect blinds for our home. We especially love the motorized patio door blinds, such a nice feature, just hit the remote and the blinds open.

Two of the blinds were folded past the release point and it was very difficult to unwind. I believe they got in that state due to not being taped securely.

Experience was good from the beginning to end. Had to delay delivery date, which was not a problem. Installation was done on time. Everyone was very friendly. Sales person was Seda Guvener very helpful.
