Great service and excellent product! The shipment arrived on time and installation was a snap! Was able to set up the 10x12 deck in under two hours, which now serves as a base for my seasonal gazebo. Looks great and is very solid. A major benefit is it can be disassembled and quickly relocated. Well done blokDEK!

The product itself has been outstanding. The quality is excellent and the installation was surprisingly straightforward. We completed the installation ourselves and were very pleased with how smoothly the system went together. The finished deck looks beautiful. We had some concerns that composite decking might get too hot in direct sun, but that simply hasn't been an issue. We were also impressed by the surface texture, which provides great traction even on rainy days.

Most importantly, the deck has become a living space that we genuinely enjoy using every day.

​The Sample Process: Ordering samples was quick and easy. Unlike other companies that send a useless 2"x2" scrap, blokDEK sends decent-sized samples so you actually know what you’re getting.
​Proactive Customer Service: Because we had strict size limits at our campground, we ordered the exact dimensions we needed. The deck was on backorder (which wasn't an issue for me), but before it even shipped, Tannis reached out personally to confirm all of our information.
​Going the Extra Mile: The business day before delivery, I hadn't heard from the freight company. I reached out to Tannis, who was amazing—they immediately tracked down a direct phone number for me so I could confirm the delivery window.
​The 2-Hour Setup (Seriously!): From the exact moment the delivery driver called to say he was 10 minutes away, to the moment I signed back into work, exactly 2 hours had passed. In that tight window, we:
​Accepted the delivery (the pallet was packaged perfectly).
​Unpacked everything.
​Dug down the ground at one end to level it (we had to start under our camper stairs and dig down at the other end, which was opposite of the video's advice to start at the high point, but it still worked flawlessly).
​Realized we missed checking if our deck pieces were numbered, but it still went together incredibly fast.
​Put the entire deck together.
​Took a shower!
​A Quick Tip: Definitely watch the instruction video beforehand and keep it handy during assembly. It makes the process a breeze.
​The Verdict:
Even our campground owner was incredibly impressed with both the quality and how quickly it all went together! The deck is super sturdy and we absolutely love it. One of my biggest worries was how it would handle the heat, as our site faces west with almost no shade. I am thrilled to report that while the deck gets warm, it never gets hot enough to burn the bottoms of your feet.
​If you are on the fence about ordering a BlokDEK, just do it. You won't regret it!

The deck was exactly as it is pictured on the website. It was very easy to assemble. Took two of us 5 hrs to complete our 10’x20’ deck. I had ordered stairs, unfortunately they came in the wrong colour. However, BlokDek sent me replacement boards without me even having to request them. Great customer service and product. I highly recommend it.

I am so pleased with the quality and look of my deck. My hubs and I got an 8' x 20' deck and we had it up and leveled in 2 hours. And I am still married! The ordering and shipping experience was flawless. I was kept updated on the delivery, and the company checked in several times to make sure we didn't have any questions. Would 100% order from this company again and definitely recommend.

I live in Richmond BC and was looking to get a deck for my rooftop space (~500 SF) and a floating dock (~100 SF).

I stumbled upon blokDEC and was intrigued by the concept and the materials. Aluminium frames rather than wood, no cutting or drilling, and easier clean up. I opted for the synthetic wood decking so as to have less maintenance in the future.

Besides being helpful with the design of the rooftop deck, Sean and Tannis helped me with the design of the floating dock, including the placements of the four floats required.

Shipping was straight forward and without any damage. The biggest unrealized issue was my personal situation. The need to move all the material from land, down the common dock to my float home and up to the 3rd floor rooftop. Luckily I had the greatest help with this task and the assembly, the total time was about 6 hours.

The rooftop now looks elegant and the dock is still attached to house and floats! Too bad I cannot submit pictures!

When I first learned about blokDek I thought it was an interesting idea, so I thought about it, mostly because I had gone through surgery for spinal stenosis 4 months before, and this system looked easier to assemble than building a traditional deck, which I had done many times before as I am 76 years old and built my own house when I was 27 years old. I built many things in the intervening years, including decks, so in my present condition this deck system made sense to me. I also found that dealing with Sean & Tannis was satisfying on a personal level as they treated me with great respect and answered my questions and concerns quickly and made me feel comfortable.

I’m 68, and spent 2 weeks tearing out a 20+ year old 300 square foot wooden deck that was rotting underneath. I was looking for something new with low maintenance and that would last my lifetime. I found blokdek! The folks at blokDEK are likely the most responsive and helpful you’ll ever do business with. I had several questions about the product and my needs. I submitted a photo of the area I wanted to place the deck, and when I called, Sean, the owner, answered and spent several minutes answering my questions and reassuring me their product would work well for me. He was right! It is a beautiful addition off of our back patio, creating an outdoor cafe style area to enjoy. Once ordered, the deck pallet was in my driveway in 8 days. All the way to Fayetteville, Arkansas, well packed and not a scratch. During assembly, I submitted one more question. Tannis forwarded it to Sean, who literally made a special demonstration video for me. Who does that??? Anyway, we love the look, and appreciate the simplicity of design and assembly.

From the initial email asking for information to the delivery, everything was perfect. Excellent communcation the entire time. They offered to customize for my specific needs, which was so great! I was very impressed with the service.... and the DECK! Very well made and we literally had our 5 x 12 together in an hour (note, spent the day before leveling pavers first - highly recommend). Highly recommend and have already given the info to 2 neighbors!

I purchased a 6'x8' deck to create a grilling are next to our full patio. The patio was delivered about 10 days after purchase...quicker than expected, since it was shipped from Canada to the US.

It came on a good sized pallet with zero issues creating during package and delivery.

The construction was rock solid and the materials seem really high quality. I had a slightly more complicated install since I had to dig out and level an area. Once that was done, putting the deck together and installing it was a breeze. Assembly was slightly different than the video, but it was really easy to figure out how to bolt the two sections together.

I have zero regrets with my purchase. In fact, we're considering installing another deck and gazebo on a different part of our property.

Excellent product and communication both before ordering, during shipping and after arrival of the deck. Decking arrived much sooner that expected. The video instructions were spot on and it was as easy and described.
