I have placed orders for several years
I have placed orders for several years. My Mother, who is almost 96, gets a monthly roses shipment, and it brings her incredible joy. Somehow I ended up ordering TWO monthly shipments, and the lady in Customer Service was fabulous. She refunded one of the shipments, no questions asked. I will continue using BloomsyBox as long as I am able. Thank you!

Did not receive what I ordered!!!
I ordered what appeared to be a gorgeous peachy/pale pink floral arrangement for my mom’s birthday. She’s been given about a year on life expectancy and this may be her last birthday. I was trying to do all I could to make it as perfect as possible with all her favorite things. I normally order flowers online from Bouq’s but saw an add for BloomsyBox online and thought I would give them a try. I selected an arrangement in colors and flowers that I knew she would love. The tracking info was great and I received notifications about shipment and delivery. Unfortunately what actually arrived on her birthday looked nothing like what I ordered! So much so, that when I arrived at her home I had to ask her where the m flowers were that we had ordered her. I was shocked, saddened, and angry about what was delivered. The company had “run out” of the flowers we chose and instead of contacting me to ask for an alternative choice, BloomsyBox decided to send a replacement arrangement of their choosing. The alternative arrangement did use Roses and Gerber Daisy’s as was in our original order, however the entire bouquet was in deep fuchsia and bright red color palette with a few wisps in deep purple. It is something you would have sent to your valentine on Valentine’s Day and not something you would have sent to your mom! The flower arrangement was accompanied by a note saying sorry for the inconvenience and informing that they increased the size of the arrangement as an apology for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately my mom and I both hated the flowers! Way too RED & BRIGHT. Increasing the # of blooms only added to the tackyness of the arrangement! If BloomsyBox had replaced the flowers with different flowers in a color palette similar to what we had ordered it would’ve been fine. Color is everything!!! I would have preferred no flowers at all over the arrangement that was sent. Had I been notified in advance I could’ve chosen another option or gone shopping and created a beautiful arrangement on my own & it would’ve been something my mom loved rather than the bright eyesore that was delivered. I’ve never ordered from BloomsyBox before and never will again! I will go back to Bouqs who are reliable and consistent with every order I have ever placed! I’ve reached out to BloomsyBox and requested a refund, time will tell what their response is to my complaint. I’ve given them 2 stars as the arrangement arrived on time and the flowers look healthy. If there is no resolution to my complaint then I will reduce my stars to 1. Be cautious if you choose to order from them… you may not receive anything like what you order.

Received an Orchid plant. Title did not say it was miniature and for $100 all in. This was a huge disappointment.

Fragrant Flowers
I have had nothing but positive experiences with BloomsyBox, even when the carrier (nothing they have control over) experiences delays. The customer service has always been incredibly responsive and customer centric, provides satisfactory resolution and is very professional in their interactions. I have ordered from them 4 times and had issues twice with delayed deliveries. Each time, they have always made it right. I love the Queens Crown Roses, which are gorgeous and incredibly fragrant so if you have the chance to order do it.
Day 2 - flowers opened and are magnificent!
Second day my alstroemeria delivery blossomed into a huge beautiful show stopper! Delivery day...I was disappointed, thinking the stems were wilted, droopy and half dead. Ended up being extremely pleased with my birthday Bloomsybox flowers from my daughter.
If your preference is damaged floral…
If your preference is damaged floral bundles (not bouquets), dreadful customer service, and crippling value disparity (you don't get what you pay for), this may be the slapdash operation for you.
Oh, and if you want to damage your relationship with your significant other as badly as the flowers you'll be sending them, these are your people! I'm convinced the people who have given Bloomsy Box a rating higher than a star (the lowest option) have never received flowers before or may have a poverty of familiarity with the notion of a bouquet.
Despite repeated requests to their customer service department to stop sending rag bags which may poison our pets, nature's little bundles of toxins continued to arrive until our subscription was cancelled.
Perhaps they should reposition their products as a prank for people who wish to send deep disappointment and unmistakable ill will.
Great at first but went way down hill…
I subscribed to the New York Botanic Gardens bouquet back in January and it was amazing a first. After a few months they started to arrive dried and dead or moldy and died in a few days. I asked them to replace one shipment it was so bad. They did replace it but required photos and long explanations. They sent a much cheaper looking bouquet that was not the same flowers as the NYBG subscription. They started to cut corners on each shipment it seems as my most recent bouquet before canceling was three proteas and the rest was baby’s breath and eucalyptus stems. I am happy to pay for a quality service but sadly Bloomsy just doesn’t offer than anymore.
I’ve been subscribed to Bloomsy box to…
I’ve been subscribed to Bloomsy box to get flowers biweekly the first couple months the flowers were gorgeous always wonderful. I loved getting them now the past six months the flowers have calm half dead I can’t even get a week out of them. I don’t know if they change their shipping or where they’re trying to cut corners but I’m so disappointed in this company so I have since canceled very upsetting to cancel to me but it’s not worth the $60 every two weeks when I can take the $60 and go get a better bouquet myself
DISAPOINTED!!!
DISAPOINTED!!!! Just received my flowers. Im not going to lie: they are beautiful. But it is not what I expected. I ordered the NYGB subscription at $99 a month. They advertised that it was a unique "hand-crafted bouquets inspired by The New York Botanical Garden." At that price, I expected something glorious. I was also under the impression that I would be getting a vase along with it. Boy was I wrong. Again, the flowers are beautiful (although about a quarter of them are already wilting) but they are ALL tulips! NOTHING UNIQUE ABOUT THIS BOUQUE. If that was all I was going to get, I could have just ordered Tulips at half the price. No vase either. This is AFTER they screwed up the delivery time.
Update: I complained and they told me that I had received the wrong flowers and they would get me what I requested. OMG I wish I could post a photo of what the replaced the Tulips with! It looked like a bouquet out of a grocery store!! The Tulips were much more gorgeous than this. In the flower box, there was a note saying Lillies were the featured flower for this month's NYGB collection. Not a single Lilly in the bouquet. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
PS, just 4 days later, those beautiful Tulips are ALL wilted.
DEAD FLOWERS RUDE SERVICE first shipment of…
Received DEAD Flowers first shipment of new subscription. When I contacted the company to complain, they claimed don't want to help, and then canceled my subscription instead of helping - they put in writing they were going to make it right, but never offered any solution other than canceling. Very snarky attitude, very rude customer service. Very disappointing. It's not my fault you sent dead flowers, but yet you punish your customer. How very sad. What a sham of a company!
I canceled the subscription because it…
I canceled the subscription because it cost more than $85 per box and they send them without water or any coolant. The box was in transit for 5 days. Again, $85 and NO WATER. They arrived in Florida wilted and dried out. HUGE WASTE OF MONEY
Eight damaged tulips in single bouquet
I was sent two dozen tulips for my birthday, from a friend. EIGHT of the tulips arrived with broken necks.
DO NOT send flowers using Gloomsybox! Arrived DEAD
My mother was delivered flowers for Mothers on Friday May 12th at 3:32 PM. She was home for delivery and opened them right away. I went over to see her Saturday morning at 9 and my jaw dropped when I saw the $90 arrangement we had paid for. In less than 18 hours everything was dried out and drooping very badly. Carnations were dried up and brown all the way around and in multiple layers on the flower. Gerbera daisy as good as dead and dropping petals all over the place. The card was also blank so she had no idea who they were from. I know I wrote a nice lovely sentiment in them, but they claim there was no message given to them. Too bad I have screenshots of their site when I was composing and sending them back and forth to gather feedback from siblings. I tried to call and got a voicemail. I also sent their customer service number a text at 11 am Saturday. I was VERY EMBARRASSED that this is what she would receive. I took pictures when Mom was out of the room. Customer service is only M-F 8A-6P EST. They returned my text this morning 5/15/23 at 9:07 AM EST and told me it's best to call. When I called I spoke with Laurie who at first was nice and by 3 minutes in was laughing and screaming and talking over me. She proceeded in telling me their company had received hundreds of emails over the weekend and "she must really like her job if she chose to come in today". To make things worse if that is possible, I requested a callback from the Supervisor, who I'm told is names Isabel and told "she will call me" no idea of when or any confirmation of the number she will be calling. As of this writing and speaking to Julie that was 2 hours ago and counting. There are SO MANY options out there and honestly a few $3.99 ALDI bouquets would have been better than what she received for over $90! BUYER BEWARE!!!!
Update to End of business day on 5/15/23. Isabel finally spoke with me and told me she had listened to the days calls. She made excuses about employees with health issues, working over the weekend to help package flowers etc. I asked how long their company was in business and she said 8 years. My response was if only their company had 8 years of data prior so they could ANTICIPATE how busy they would be on Mothers Day 2023 to hire some additional help. She completely condoned her employee(s) hanging up on me multiple times and said her employee took offense when I mentioned this yelp review? I guess their employees are as delicate as they dead ass flowers they deliver. Good luck if you have been unfortunate enough to do business with this dumpster fire of a company!
