Customer with Major Safety Concerns
Had a tyre replaced on my GT Stinger on Monday at the Townsville store in Mundingburra. Car had no traction after leaving the store. Rang them, explained issue and booked car in for Wednesday. Was told after waiting for 2 hrs they are unable to fix issue, and then they proceeded to try and sell me over $2000 worth of Rims. The car does not need new Rims..Finally discovered that they had in fact put the wrong tyre on the car. When approached about the wrong tyre the staff were condescending and rude and would not listen. I then contacted Bob Jane customer support and was told there was no one I could speak to, I had to write an email to the area manager. I did this immediately and I have heard nothing back from them. I tried calling customer service twice today and the phone rang out. My car is extremely unsafe to drive. I do not reside in Townsville, I am just visiting. I have a 600km drive to get home, yet now I am stuck waiting to hear from them, with an unsafe vehicle.
I am Absolutely disgusted by the lack of professionalism and lack of knowledge the staff have at that store. Would recommend no one get their tyres done there as they allow people to leave the store in unsafe vehicle.
