As others have said, rip off. Avoid, avoid! It's about time Google started looking at scam companies who pay for keywords to get them top of the search. So unfair for young kids with little money to spare. £45 paid for something that should have cost £23 on the DVSA website. Very frustrating.

Unfortunately top in google search, which is why my son went for it. Clearly a scam preying on youngsters. You don't receive a proper receipt of the payment, so cancelling is difficult. They ignore preferences: booked during school hours. One star is too generous. Avoid like the covid.

Well clearly it’s a scam, booked in a hurry and had no idea how much it should have cost. It’s the first site that comes up so I assumed it was the right one. Seriously wish I had checked the reviews before spending £22 more than I needed too. Thieving b@stards basically ✌️

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Appalling customer service; no communication regarding cancelled and re-scheduled tests resulting in my daughter turning up at the test centre to take her test only to be told it had been cancelled. This happened a further three times although this time she checked directly through the DVLA website as still no communication from booktheorytesttoday.com. Finally, today she took her test. She passed the multiple choice component but failed by two marks on the hazard perception element. She had paid 45 pounds as this included three resits...except it doesn’t!!!!! On the web-page ‘book your resit’ it states that to be eligible, you have to score over 38 in the multi-choice which she did. Yet she has been refused her ‘free’ resit because she failed the hazard perception part. Yet the page does not direct you to the terms and conditions and does not state that you also have to have passed the hazard perception element to be eligible. She has wasted money and time - it is over six months since her first test was cancelled and due to lockdown (unavoidable) she has not been able to get her test scheduled until today. Do not use a third party web-site however much it appears that it is good value for money. If it is too good to be true, then it probably is. I have contacted trading standards and written to my MP. Clarity of t&c is needed and better training for staff to improve communication.

I booked for a test and was advised a confirmation email would follow within 48 hours. It NEVER came! I tried to cancel but discovered they have no contact telephone or email and don't respond to their "enquiry form " either.

I wrote to the firm and copied my MP and Trading Standards. I got a refund within 3 days minus 99!

I would strongly advise against use theses scamming thieving pigs!

SH!T. These con artists take your money and you don't hear anything back, it's overpriced by £23 and not worth your time.

SCAM guys I can’t believe they took £45 from me, this is my first time booking a theory test and I didn’t know how much it costs until I looked on the reviews, worst part is that it is the first website that comes up on the search, jus be careful guys and make sure you know what you have signed up for and where you put your details, this is so disgusting and I cant explain how frustrated and mad i am!!!!!

After booking the £45 package that claims you get free retests, I soon found out this is not the case. Sadly I failed test so when going on to book my free re test, It stated that I had to of passed my hazard perception to be eligible for the free re test. IT DOES NOT STATE THIS INFO ANYWHERE (I've checked the website loads). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Do not use this site! After looking on the official DVSA website I saw that my booking was genuine, but I had been charged £46 instead of the usual £23. Avoid using any third party sites when booking the test, just do it via the DVSA website. Learn from my mistake!

Do not use, these people are scamming you out of £46, the test is only £23 through the Dvla. You cannot log in to cancel o access any of the things they say you get with the extra admin fee, a complete shower of B******s

rOBBING SCAMMERS WAS FIRST SITE ON GOOGLE LOOKED LEGIT, took my 46 pound heared nothing back.

I can honestly say my experience with this company was satisfactory and nowhere near as bad as most of the reviews. I realised pretty quickly after booking that I wanted to cancel and messaged them straight away. They replied within 3 days and, although they had booked my test by this time (and this was genuine as I checked on the DVSA website), I received a full refund and my test booking was cancelled.

Wish I’d read the reviews before dealing with this fraudulent company.

Absolutely useless and waste of money!
You pay twice more than with DVLA at £45 when it only costs £23 with DVAL and you don't get to choose your appointment.
During the lockdown we have had to chase them twice as we realised very late our booking wasn't going ahead. They could have called us or send an email as soon they knew about the restrictions but instead decided to sit on their back side and wait for their customer to contact them.
Now we have to wait until July when we could have had a test as early as 12-April.
Waste of time and money.

This is a scam website. Paid £45 - received confirmation email but no test was booked. No email or phone number to get a refund. Have contacted the company via the website - no response. Do not use this company.

Scammers took £23 and tried to charge me another 46 I opted out and asked for a refund they told me I hadn't made a payment yet I've emailed back threatening to get the police involved to get my refund

Paid these scammers 2 weeks ago , no response back , paid 45.99, can't google take this website down , absolutely disgusting.

An absolute SCAM paid 45 pounds, received confirmation. One week before they changed the date after 4 months date then last they cancelled the exam and refund the amount into their account. Anyway, our 45 pounds lost, but the bloody fellows why wasting our valuable time. Request to Google, don't allow these type of bloody fellows.

An absolute SCAM, paid over the odds, received confirmation. Arrived at Andover test centre as per address to find the test centre had been closed, been closed for a while. Sent email, no reply, now having to get a refund. They clearly pay Google to have their scam site on top of your search so you click the first one, be warned, book through DVLA and it only cost half the amount...

Wasn’t the best experience ever.
No confirmation email, nor a reply to my emails for days, but they are not THAT bad!
After giving up with them and booking test through DVLA, I asked for my money back.
An email arrived.
Quite a nice email.
Asking me to reconsider and continue with my booking with them.
I declined with thanks, stating why.
They said I could cancel if I wanted.
I accepted.
I was expecting them to withhold part of my payment for “administration fees” but 3 to 4 hours later a full refund was given.
I couldn’t have asked for more at that stage.
So not the best, but certainly not deserving of so many bad reviews maybe?
