Boots Luton very disappointing

I was told by Boots Customer Service I would be able to get an eye scan for a severe bloodshot eye. My Doctor had said if it got worse to go to my Optician if he wasn't availabl. It was worse on the Saturday morning so I rang Boots Luton Point where I have been a customer for over 10 years and spent £300 on glasses every year to be told it was not possible for the scan. They told me to go to AnE as their Opticuans all booked. I rang Vision Express got the scan within an hour. Total cost with Opticians consult £30. Scan only £6 extra with an eye test. Boots £25!! Such lacking of empathy or care for a worried 72 year old. So disappointed in their response but pleased with Vision Express.

I called in to Boots Cornmarket Oxford…

I called in to Boots Cornmarket Oxford at 5.30 last Friday because the arm on my expensive Rayban spectacles had dropped off outside the insurance period . Your staff could not have been more helpful.Chloe arranged for a colleague to lock in your stock cupboard and found your last matching arm which was fitted for free and I went away exceptionally happy a great start to the weekend

So disappointed

So disappointed. I ordered prescription sunglasses specifically for a holiday giving over 2 weeks for them to deliver. Having chased twice and explaining each time (as well as when I ordered) that they needed to deliver by 30/3 I’ve been told they won’t arrive in time meaning they’ll have taken 3 weeks or more to be made/delivered!! Poor service

For my regular eye test I received an…

For my regular eye test I received an excellent service from all the ophthalmic staff at Boots in St Helens town centre. In particular, the optometrist Mohammed Hannan Quereshi gave clear instructions, was very polite and patient. I would recommend them all.

Excellent all round service

Excellent all round service from eye test to choosing new glasses. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff are so friendly and helpful always.

Eyesight test by very professional staff who are friendly and polite.…

I just went to Boots Opticians in the Galleries in Bristol this morning for my biannual eyesight test. I saw Kim for some initial tests and Rahim for the eye test itself. Both Kim and Rahim were very friendly and extremely professional. I would thoroughly recommend this branch of Boots for eye-tests.

Great, reassuring experience at Wimborne, Dorset

Had a great experience with Henry, Steph & Lynne having my annual eye test in Wimborne, Dorset today. Plenty of time spent with me, having tests, scans & discussing the outputs. Lovely team & very professional. Reassured by the whole experience & definitely recommend. Beats the other providers hands down!

Romsey Opticians

Romsey Opticians. Went in for 3 x different eye tests with Jon, then saw the optician Aida. After receiving great service I was then dealt with by the guys on the “floor”. All were super helpful and friendly. A huge credit to Boots

I visited Boots Opticians on Queens…

I visited Boots Opticians on Queens Road, Sheffield today for my eye test, and I had a really positive experience. After completing all the test procedures, I selected two pairs of glasses.

I would especially like to mention Imogen and Nooshin, who both helped me throughout the process. They clearly explained the differences between the glasses and were extremely friendly and patient with me. They always had a smile on their faces and answered all my questions professionally.

I truly appreciate their excellent customer service, and I would love to see them recognised or rewarded for their outstanding work. I am very happy with my experience and look forward to seeing them again.

Anne-Marie was so wonderful

Anne-Marie was so wonderful. She helped me get my new glasses sorted, made sure they fit me and then made sure the boost in my glasses was in the correct position. Then when I picked them up she helped me again and made sure I was ok seeing out of them and I could read with the boost but. I was very happy.

Boots Opticians Winchester

Boots Opticians Winchester-I came in to look at the frames and got in touch with one of the sale representative. All of a sudden the manager came to us and told sale representative to look after someone else.
Representative was so annoyed because she was talking to me and explaining the frames I was trying. Then Silence. I put all the frames beside and went out of the shop without buying. I ordered the frames I liked and chose in this shop from another website. Manager-lack of communication skills and disrespectful.

Update 01/05/2026 : No update, no call, no mail.

I was served bu Debra who was very helpful and knowledgeable. She made me feel completely at ease talking me through the test and then advising me on which glasses would suit my needs best.

Opticians feedback

I had my eyes tested at the Bognor Regis branch of boots now for a number of years, l always like to see Mandy about my glasses because she has good knowledge and always explains everything in detail, I would recommend her to friends and family.

Awful

Awful. I prev wrote a review based on terrible supply and service. Boots responded to email boots opticians customer service. Surprise! they never responded either. The shop, Boots Customer service and the supply being overdue, forcing me to buy elsewhere to get my contacts in time have all been terrible but being ignored three times by the customer service has been the worst experience.

Surprised and delighted

I had lost one of the nose pieces on my glasses. They hadn’t been bought from Boots so I was delighted when Charlotte said she could fit new ones for me. I was even more surprised when there was no charge. An excellent result for me, thank you very much.
