Scam. They charged me $300 immediately on my first day of free trial and refused to refund.

Scam. They charged me $300 immediately on my first day of free trial and refused to refund.
it is scam. avoid this application.the publish rate for starter is $79 per month, and at the end of the trial auto charge for 3 months as $99 per month.
Their website never indicates that end of the trial at the lower tier will be charge as 3 months, instead of 1 month.
When contact the support they said write it but no response from the support team.
website said 1 price and actual charge another price. per month become per 3 months.

I signed up for BrandMentions under the impression that I was starting a free trial, only to be immediately charged $300 the same day. The trial flow is designed in a way that feels intentionally misleading — it gives the appearance of free access, but in reality, it upgrades you instantly.
When I reached out, the support team repeatedly referenced their “no refund” policy instead of acknowledging how unclear and deceptive the user experience is. Their eventual offer of “goodwill credit” or extra trial time only reinforced the issue — if everything was transparent, there wouldn’t be a need for “goodwill.”
For a company that claims to value transparency and reputation tracking, this experience was the opposite. I’ll be advising colleagues and other marketing teams to stay away from this platform until they fix how they present their trial and billing structure.

I used it for a few months and already see a difference in our company. We get all the posts about us, all the KPIs, cool insights and nice looking reprts. It became one of the tools we use on a daily basis
Most tools like this are either all fluff or way too complex. But this one? Super easy to use and actually useful right from day one. I set up a few keyword alerts and boom, started getting real mentions from places I didn’t even think to look. What’s cool is I don’t feel like I’m fighting the tool. Everything makes sense. The data’s there, the filters work, and I don’t need 10 clicks to find something simple. Honestly? If you care about what people are saying online about your brand or niche, this is the one. No BS. Just works.
Scam - they use dark patterns on the site to trick people in to bulk payments

It is a pity I didn't read the review for this company before—terrible service. I also got charged for a quarter payment even though the trial period was not over, and I informed them that I was not going to proceed with them. I hope my bank will help me. Terrible company, terrible people.

Absolutely horrible service and page!
I never finished my sign up and was bombarded with emails for a week about how I had never finished signing up for my trial, as I had not provided credit card details, now imagine my genuine surprise when I was charged over 350€? I sent an email and was told that "I had not cancelled my subscription during the trial period so no refunds are possible"!!!!
When for a whole week I had been told I had NEVER FINISHED MY SIGN UP TO THE TRIAL!

Horrible service. I didn't finish subscribing for the free trial and they kept bombarding me with emails asking me to start the trial, so imagine my shock when £297 was withdrawn without my consent from my account. Spent a month disputing and my bank got the money back, thank God. Do NOT do business with them.

Careful. During their "free trial" you can get tripped up and incur a $500 charge! Then you find out there's no way to contact them -- no phone number, no chat function, no email address. Since I didn't use any of the data supposedly available after getting charged, I expect a prompt refund. If that isn't forthcoming, I'll dispute the transaction.

IT'S TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS TAKEN MONEY FROM THE CARD $297 FOR A 3-MONTH PERIOD, YET I HAVE ALREADY UNSUBSCRIBED FROM THEIR WEBSITE. THEY DON'T ANSWER ME. I ASKED ABOUT THE REFUND, YET CURRENTLY CAN'T HAVE ANY REPLY. WILL CLAIM FOR THEM AND THEIR SERVICE!!!!!!!

I would strongly advise caution when considering this brand. My experience with their service and customer support was disappointing, to say the least. Unexpectedly, I was charged three times the amount displayed on their website, totaling $297. This gave me an impression more of a dubious practice than a legitimate business.
I tested their service for a mere 5 minutes and found that it did not meet my needs. The data provided was, in my opinion, mostly irrelevant and of low quality. Regrettably, I overlooked canceling my trial subscription in time and was billed for three months of a service I have no use for.
Upon realizing this, I immediately contacted them for a refund, only to be met with the reply that I should have read their terms and conditions. It was barely a minute after I had received the billing notification that I had canceled my account and requested a refund.
While I am hopeful that PayPal will help me get a refund, I wish to share my experience so that others can be more careful. This company seems more interested in securing payments than providing a satisfactory customer experience. I would suggest exploring other alternatives.
