Wheels were missed
Unfortunately they missed the wheels off the online hire so had to do a 16 mile round trip to collect them having just gone and collected the scaffold.
Also, the wheels were hard to fit into the scaffold and a bugger to get back out.
But the hire was cheap

What do I need
I was not quite sure what I was hiring . they advised me which was great . the two men who brought it were polite and helpful.the only thing was they didn't knock the door when they picked it up as i thought for a minute it had been stolen until I had a email .

Great service!
It was easy to order online, driver arrived on time and helped us get the machine into the garden and showed us how to start it. The office were helpful with queries we had. Whole process was smooth and simple.

Delivered wrong sized item
Delivered wrong sized item, made life very difficult. When local branch contacted , I was told there was nothing they could do.

Flexible and helpful

I dont normally leave reviews but I was very very impressed with the service and price.
I thought the price given online was a bit too good to be true so I phoned up to check. Nice lady talked through the hire options with me and explained it all.
After agreeing a delivery day I got a call asking if they could drop it off a day early at no extra cost.
Collected on time. Instruction videos to watch on the website. Far cheaper than anywhere else for what I wanted.
Can't fault the Barnstaple team at all.
Will be back next spring for another hire of the stump grinder.

A good overall service
A good overall service. Only disappointment was that the I had to wait a further two days before I could collect the hired product as it turned out my local depot did not have the items in stock. It was a bit of an inconvenience. Staff at depot are always friendly and helpful and did apologise for the delay.

Easy to deal with and clear information…
Easy to deal with and clear information on delivery and collection. The aerator was of good quality. Only criticism was the extra charge for fuel as this does not allow for differences in usage.

We hired a 240 volt generator firstly you changed £10.0 for 3 litres of petrol bit OTT and it had no rubbers on the bottom so walked it self across our clients patio and causing damage to our clients patio not happy
