I hired a carpet cleaner today and the first time I used the spray all this black dirty liquid came out on my beige carpet! So obviously the pipes had not been cleaned. Also the spray stopped working... Voir plus

The price they quote is not correct. …
Be very careful about the price they quote you for hiring equipment. I asked several times for the hire costs for a laser level. I was given a figure of £88 for the week and a £30 delivery fee. In reality when I returned the item they had not included VAT costs in their quote and they charged me delivery at £60. Twice the value compared to what was quoted. So on return of the Laser level I was charged a large extra amount. Be very very careful with this firm on what they quite you it does not reflect what they charge you. If I have to use them again I will insist on a written quote so they can’t do this to me again. Very bad experience.

I hired a carpet cleaner today and the first time I used the spray all this black dirty liquid came out on my beige carpet! So obviously the pipes had not been cleaned. Also the spray stopped working so I couldn’t finish the cleaning. My carpet looks worse than before so I have to now get a professional carpet cleaning to sort it out. The gentleman at the hire service did offer to have the spray sorted and let me try again but I was put off by then.

This is the second time I have used Brandon Tool Hire. The ordering service was very helpful and allowed me to add items after the initial order. The equipment arrived slightly late, however the local branch suggested I keep everything an extra day to make up the lost time. I would definitely recommend tgis company

Disorganised chaos
Booked a scissor pallet jack 3 weeks prior to the date it was required and received confirmation. Got a call the day before the pick-up date to say that they only had one in the country & it wasn't available in York
