Used to be excellent

This company used to be excellent when they in fact were, as their blurb claims, “based in the Norfolk area… empowered by local knowledge and passionate drivers”
As I understand it, following a merger and some clever people seeking “efficiencies”, they are now actually based in Crewe.
I live at the end of a narrow lane which needs a small tanker. This was noted on the account.
In January, I rang and placed an order. Payment for that order was taken over the phone. But some clever person opened a fresh account, with none of the details about the need for a small tanker. Surprise – when a full-size tanker was sent, the driver felt unable to complete the delivery. Eventually, over a month after the order was placed, the delivery was made. By then our oil tank was nearly empty and we had had the central heating turned off for some days. But the driver was competent and friendly, I’d got the oil, I rang and made payment over the phone, having noted that the initial payment didn’t show up on my credit card account and been told that it had been deleted.
And then, having taken payment in full, Broadland dig out the original payment and put that through as well. Don’t tell me they’re doing that, of course. And when, having checked my credit card statement, I ring up to ask what is happening, they blandly tell me that “there is a balance on my account…”
I shall be surprised if I ever use this company again.

TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY, excellent delivery drivers.

I highly recommend Broadland fuels. Whilst local competitors were attempting to go back on agreed prices before the recent price rises, Broadland fuels stuck with my agreed price showing integrity. The delivery men are excellent, Craig was excellent helpful polite and took care of my hedging taking care not to damage with hose, so many other delivery people don’t do this . Broadland fuels also will fill up and refund any fuel not used . Other companies have taken my money when I over ordered and not returned . So a big shout out to Broadland fuels for getting it right and showing integrity.

Price was honoured on a order which was placed 12 hours before the market went mad due to the war in Iran. Delivery driver was excellent, friendly and efficient. I will remember your company ethics and greatly appreciate great service

Honest, dependable We won’t go elsewhere

In a time of uncertainty regarding home heating oil Broadland have yet again proved themselves to be honest and supportive. We ordered before the current crisis, they delivered on time and also allowed us to purchase some extra surplus fuel on board at the same price, unlike the other horror stories we’ve heard on the news. The result is they have permanent customers who will not go elsewhere. Big thank you.

took responsibility and sorted it. It would have been a better experience if communication was improved and the customer did not have to chase the company.

Could do better.

I’ve used your company for almost ten years and have always had excellent service. This time however, the time we had to wait for delivery was much longer and the communication was extremely poor.
I received an email informing me of a delivery date, however when it got to 16.45, on the Friday afternoon, I telephoned to find out if it was still coming. I was informed that it would not. It had been rescheduled until the Monday. It would have been nice to have been informed of this.
Whilst everyone I spoke with was polite and helpful, I should not have had to telephone several times.

Nwf have closed the broadland fuels sales office

Just so everyone else who is trying to get through to Broadland Fuels to chase their delivery is aware - NWF have closed the Yarmouth sales office and all calls are now being dealt with at NWF head office. The guys at Yarmouth were brilliant but now it takes 10 to 15 mintues for NWFs head office to answer the phone. They say they will call back but Im not holding my breath - it's now been 4 days and no call back. Its really sad that I will have to seek another supplier

NWFs reply below suggests the Yarmouth sales office is still open. Norfolk is a large county but you don't have to ask many people to find out this isn't true.

CHAOTIC AND DISAPPOINTING

We have always had outstanding service from this company in past years but it has now got steadily worse, we always order in plenty of time but these days deliveries seem chaotic. I ordered on 29 January and was advised our delivery would be here by 5th February, but still no delivery, despite several phone calls I still have no idea when or if we will receive our oil, we are both in our 70s and I am seriously ill, we have no alternate way of heating our home and the worry is now making me wonder if I should now find another supplier

Appalling service. Telephone calls cut off or waiting for long period for answer - 12 mins. No customer loyalty recognition...account holder for 20 yrs....account now closed and alternative supplier arranged. DO NOT USE!

Multiple reschedules bad service zero accountability

Multiple reschedules. Leaving my family in the cold and my toddler with no hot water or heating. Full of excuses and no solutions. Will say they attempted delivery and NO ONE WILL SHOW UP (this happened 14/01/2026)Noone willing to help. I will be going straight to UKIFDA joke
